Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1510 Fighting a Demigod

Chapter 1510 Fighting a Demigod
Everything happened so fast that before Kent and his ladies knew it, they were separated and faced off against demigods.
When the sword attack landed, Lene was also pushed back by the shockwave it generated. However, unlike Kent, who couldn’t handle the push, she stabilized herself quickly and tried to rush to Kent’s rescue.
However, just when she tapped into the connection they shared, it was severed by something far beyond her comprehension. It was instantaneous, something that threw her game upside down.
This prevented her from getting to Kent. So she could only watch as her master slammed into a metallic statue.
She clenched her fist and flew toward him, only for a demigod with ten swords hovering behind him to appear and block her path.
“You are not going anywhere, young lady,” he said with a smirk.
“Move before I move you.” Lene’s eyes turned green as waves of green hellfire burst from her body. A large bone-like bow appeared in her hand, and with one roar, a powerful shockwave spread all over the city.
She is someone who can use three weapons: a sword, a spear, and a bow. Today, she chose to wield the bow.
“Move.”
Lene wasted no time and attacked, causing the demigod to frown and also get serious. He could sense it deep within his bones that his opponent was not an easy target.
Lene was not someone he could joke around with like he initially expected. Unfortunately for Lene, after clashing with the demigod for a few seconds, she knew her master would have to hold on for a few minutes. She tried to contact Vexthra and the others; however, she found that the connection had also been severed.
Painfully, even as she managed to push the demigod back, she saw Kent sent flying, slamming through thousands of buildings until his small body blasted a hole through the city wall.
Watching blood fly from his mouth as he was hurled away, she grew furious with her attacks. Unfortunately, she wasn’t having the upper hand she expected.
Meanwhile, Vika and Fallon were also pushed back by the shockwave. However, because Fallon grabbed Vika a moment before the attack aimed at her landed, they were pulled away to the same spot.
“Vika, oh Vika… Who would have thought you were the traitor all along,” a lady demigod with two horns on her forehead said, walking toward the two of them just as they recovered and got back to their feet.
Vika said nothing but retrieved her daggers. Then, with a simple will, her clothes switched to her battle armor. She moved and stood before Fallon, shielding her from the demigod.
“Lord Hunter wants you brought in alive. However, an accident can happen, so rest in peace in advance.”
She vanished, and a second later, appeared before Vika, stabbing a short sword at her.
However, while that attack was meant to kill, what happened next shook her. Fallon appeared from behind Vika and deflected the attack, giving Vika the chance to strike with her leg. Kent had always admired slender legs, so if he were present now, he would have admired how flexible Vika’s leg appeared when she lifted it, landing a powerful kick on the demigod’s face.
The impact threw her head backward, causing her senses to dull instantly.
Fallon used that opening to make a terrible move, one that instantly caused their side of the battle to erupt into a frenzy.
Just when the demigod became disoriented, Fallon exploded a poison pill right before her face, forcing her to inhale.
Vika pulled her away, just in time for the demigod to erupt into a frenzy, one that forced her to turn into her demi-beast form.
She took on the look of a demi-panther, her body rising by a few meters. In no time, she towered four meters above her opponents.
“Ghost Tactic,” Fallon said, and Vika nodded. The next second, they split up and started running circles around their target. A few seconds later, Vika vanished, and Fallon made a run for it.
“Where do you think you are going?” the demigod lady exploded behind her, her speed closing the gap between them instantly.
However, just when she attacked, Fallon vanished and appeared 4 km away beside Vika. They only gave each other a look before they split up again and started running in opposite directions.
“AHHHHHH!”
The demigod screamed, her expression turning bitter. She looked between Fallon and Vika before choosing to run after Vika this time around.
Unfortunately for her, she only had one chance to kill them, and that was wasted when Fallon deflected her attack.
Now, she would have to push herself to the limit before, hopefully, she could gain another chance, or hope for Fallon to run out of energy, since as long as her innate ability was active, they would always be just out of reach.
Kent, on the other hand, was also battered and bruised after just two attacks. The first attack broke a few bones, but after the second, blood started to pour out from the injuries he had sustained.
He was sent flying out of the city. When he got back on his feet, he saw Lene had also appeared outside the city. The only ones still in the city were Fallon and Vika.
Just like Lene, he tried to call for help. However, he found that the connection between them had been severed.
This meant he would have to find another way to get out of this alive.
The demigod who punched him appeared 300 meters from him, a broad smile playing on his face. “The last thing you should have done was cross Lord Hunter. Now, you will have to die.”
Kent wiped the blood off the corner of his lips and spat out the rest. He then narrowed his eyes and asked:
“Your name is Flint, right?”
The demigod frowned.
“No need to frown, Flint. You still have a chance to save yourself. You can turn around and leave right now, and I will let everything slide. If not, you can duel with me, and I will use everything at my disposal to escape.
But here is what will happen if you choose the latter. After I am gone, I will train hard and become strong enough to kill you with just one finger. But that won’t be the end. I will hunt down the one called Vicky and Maddon and kill them.
Then I will head to the Demon Continent and kill Vera and her daughter, Juliana. Afterwards, your parents living on Planet Grayden will also be killed, and their bodies will be left for the fish to devour.”
Flint’s face paled, hearing all these names mentioned. He knew all of them, and considering the line of work he is in, he made sure they remained hidden from all.
So Kent, knowing all about them, came as a shock.
However, as if compelled by an external force, the paleness turned to anger, and before Kent knew it, he exploded forward, his fist blazing.
“Soul Explosion.”
Kent moved, and in his place, thousands of soul spirits appeared, surrounding Flint. Before he could move, they exploded, sending out a powerful soul attack at the brute.
The attack was so powerful that it sent a shockwave far and wide, drawing the attention of thousands. They started appearing; some instantly recognized Kent from the auction.
Kent didn’t bother to look, since he knew the soul attack wasn’t enough to kill a demigod. However, it bought him time to attack again.
He extended his hand, and Gaap appeared, exuding a very powerful resentful Qi. Kent tapped into that resentment and channeled his sword aura into it, instantly causing a powerful sword aura to fill the space.
The demigod felt the change, so he charged forward. Kent also did, knowing all too well that the only way to escape was to gain some upper hand. And to do that, he must learn Flint’s battle style.
