Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1604 The White Cataclysm

Being struck by a metallic pillar clearly wasn’t something Kent was prepared for or expected this early into his dreadful mission.
However, he managed to tank the blow, the ground beneath his feet shattering, chunks of ice flying back. The shockwave produced from that blow was enough to send Yggzrael and the others flying back.
Kent pushed the pillar back and, using the [Soul Map], he teleported away.
Because he was hoping to have a good battle with Yggzrael and the others, he chose not to use the Soul Map. Using it would have made him untouchable, unless his opponent had used their domain.
So, to avoid that, he turned it off.
If he hadn’t, perhaps he would have seen this attack coming from a mile away.
Appearing 2 km away, he regarded the monstrosity that had attacked him, and for a moment, his body trembled, not out of fear, but from the thrill of the battle ahead of him.
The attacker was a colossal Ice Yeti standing over forty feet tall, its body packed with pure muscle and crystallized ice. Its body was covered in white fur mixed with jagged black-blue crystalline ice that constantly emitted freezing mist.
‘Damn, that is one large motherfucker.’ For a moment, Kent drooled, the craziness in his eyes intensifying. As a chaos beast, this kind of battle is one he has always dreamed of.
‘Wait for me, my sweet Elina, big daddy Chaos will be there soon,’ he smiled.
Massive horns curved backward from its skull like frozen mountain peaks, while chains made from glacier steel wrapped around its arms and torso.
One chain was large enough to wrap around a bus and still have enough left to pull it.
Looking deep into its eyes, Kent could see them glow with chaotic blue light that could freeze souls upon contact.
Every step it took caused the ground to crack and freeze for miles. Behind it, a phantom blizzard manifested, howling with an eerie sound, almost as if there were thousands of tormented souls hidden within it.
What took Kent aback were the two metallic pillars shaped like clubs held in both hands. They looked deadly, and the numbing pain in Kent’s hands made it clear he could not underestimate this yeti.
‘Finally, a worthy opponent.’
Kent lifted his head and looked back at the colossal yeti. “Who are you, and where did you come from?”
The yeti didn’t reply. Instead, it raised one of the pillars and channeled energy into it. At once, the space around it froze, and ice started spreading toward Kent.
When the ice reached him, his body started to freeze, turning solid all of a sudden. Kent had to channel his chaos qi and flame qi to keep himself from turning into a block of ice.
However, even with the flame and chaos qi empowering him, Kent knew that wouldn’t do.
‘Tower, is that [Extreme Ice]?’
[Yes, Master. This yeti has mastered Extreme Ice, so you should be careful.]
Kent turned and looked at his four demigods, who appeared behind him. “Relax, guys, I will take care of this giant.”
“Be careful, Master, he is one of the Forbidden ones.”
Kent raised his brow, but before he could ask who a Forbidden was, the pillar fell down. Pulling himself back, he activated the [Chaos Scale Shield] and blocked the attack.
Then, with a stamp on the ground, his body was launched up, his fist clenched.
“Take this,”
Blood Qi gathered around Kent’s fist as he struck forward.
“Blood Calamity Fist,”
A large fist, fashioned from blood qi, with the appearance and texture of metal, exploded out, a terrifying force sending it flying toward the yeti.
It crossed the other pillar in front of him just when the Blood Calamity Fist closed in on him.
*BOOM*
The impact pushed him back one step. However, instead of backing down, the yeti stabbed the other pillar toward Kent, hoping to break every bone in his body.
Kent smirked and teleported, appearing on the pillar. Then, with a glide, he closed in on the yeti, his fist poised for another [Blood Calamity Fist] strike.
However, Kent pulled his fist back and rolled, his body sliding across the pillar just when a razor-sharp ice spear stabbed at his shoulder.
Kent was fast enough but a bit slow to evade, so the spear grazed his shoulder, drawing blood.
‘That was close,’ Kent managed to lift his body back up and turn to his left, seeing three more spears close in on him.
Using the momentum from his turn, a powerful claw attack flashed out, shattering the first two spears while the third was deflected.
Kent borrowed the shockwave from the explosion to move back, realization dawning on him.
‘I cannot fight him up close like this.’ With this discovery, he realized that perhaps he had underestimated the yeti.
Suddenly, a bone-chilling ice spread across the battlefield, and like Kent hadn’t reinforced his body with Flame and Chaos Qi, his legs started to freeze.
[You are under the effect of the White Cataclysm. All your attributes have lost 50% of their power]
Kent felt his body slow down, his strength halved in an instant.
For the first time, Kent felt that danger. The kind of danger that translates to certain death. However, rather than retreating, the will to fight intensified.
He looked at the White Yeti, and a smirk formed on his face. “Using a domain against me won’t give you the win you desire.”
[He isn’t using his domain, Master. The White Cataclysm is merely an Immortal Grade technique.]
Before Kent could let the shock appear on his face, two powerful blows closed in on him, one coming from his left and the other from his right.
The Chaos Scale Shield appeared on both sides, blocking the blows. Kent slid through the cracks and flew into the air, his body oozing so much Chaos aura.
Suddenly, his claws turned dark gold, and his eyes flared, a reddish aura seeping out of them. ‘Let’s see how powerful you really are.’
*BUZZ*
Dragon wings burst out of Kent’s back, and all 350,000 flame veins activated. But Kent didn’t stop there; he went ahead and activated all 250,000 blood runes.
Suddenly, the debuff’s weakness became insignificant as a new form of power surged through his body. Kent grinned and vanished, turning into a blur.
He moved with so much speed that before the yeti could sense him, over a hundred claw marks were left on it, blood coating its wounds.
Kent was like a tempest of flame, his afterimages manifesting blood silhouettes. Naturally, had it not been for the debuff, the yeti would have struggled to even sense him.
Morveth, who prided himself on his speed, smiled weakly, standing 30 km away with Baelgor, Kryzoth, and Yggzrael. “Now, that is what you call speed.”
“Indeed. Even I can’t see him until after he had long passed,” Yggzrael replied, his focus rooted on the yeti that kept turning to catch a glimpse of Kent.
Brute-wise, Kent might have struggled in his demihuman form.
However, speed-wise, he is on another level, and this is only after he had formed two flame cores and hadn’t even awakened Lightning Element or even wind yet.
“Do you guys think Master can defeat that monster in the central region?” Baelgor asked, his right leg resting on his hammer head.
“Is that even a question? If the master can dominate a Forbidden, then that bastard is as good as dead. In fact, the question should be whether the master can handle the Four Abominations hidden in the dungeon.
They are the real threat here, not that demon.”
As if to prove what Yggzrael said, Kent finally slowed down, causing the mist of ice and fire to subside. When it finally did, a bloody yeti was revealed.
For a moment, it stood on its feet. However, he soon dropped to his knees and used his weapons to support its body.
