- Chapter 1607 Forbidden & Abominations

“You are kidding, right?” Instead of Yeti asking the question, it came from Yggzrael, who landed softly on the ground, with Baelgor, Kryzoth, and Morveth following swiftly.
Kent turned to them and answered, “I don’t joke about stuff like this. There are indeed pills that can give a Forbidden an innate body.”
“But… but that is impossible,” Morveth intervened, causing Kent to raise his brow.
“Why is it impossible?”
“Pills, from what I know, can only be found in the world outside this place.” Morveth paused and took a deep breath before asking, “If you know that and even claim you can help this Forbidden, does it mean you are from the world outside?”
Kent smirked, “Yes and no.”
He didn’t expect them to actually have this assumption. In his mind, he expected them to say pills don’t work on Forbidden Beasts, that their tainted blood cannot assimilate well with innate bodies.
However, hearing them question whether he is from the world outside was new.
“Yes, I am from the outside world; however, that is not where I live. I came to that world on a mission, and part of the mission brought me here. That said, I can indeed turn a forbidden into a True Forbidden using a pill.”
The four demigods and Yeti could only look at Kent in disbelief.
Finally, it all made sense to them. His ridiculous strength, coupled with the fact that he is a Monarch but isn’t from the Abyss or Chaos, now makes sense.
“By the way, why are you a forbidden? The last I checked, only tainted beasts become forbidden. Someone with Chaos Qi running through your body shouldn’t be tainted, no matter how powerful the poison was.”
During the era of Lord Genesis, Jest encountered a few forbidden beings on his many missions, some wielding powers he even ran from. He had no idea what they were made of or what made them that way, but he knew they were tainted by something.
He fought and killed many; however, even before he fell, there were a few forbidden beings that even he had never dreamt of facing in battle.
What Kent didn’t know was that billions of years after Jest died, a beast tamer rose, and for the first time, the terrifying forbidden beasts were finally brought under one command, turning them into his strength.
Yeti remained quiet, a part of him at a loss for what to even say. It had just occurred to him that he had no idea how he had become forbidden.
Thankfully, Yggzrael knew something, so he revealed it.
“If what I know is correct, then I think the forbidden and abominations came about due to an experiment conducted by a deranged Celestial several hundred thousand years ago.”
“Hold on for a moment… what is an Abomination?”
Kent’s expression changed, a part of him wondering just why this simple visit to the tormented Chaos Abyss seemed to reveal so many things.
First forbidden, now abominations.
Yggzrael smiled, “The Forbidden beasts were a more sane outcome of that experiment. Their blood was tainted and twisted to make them powerful, yet, in a way, monsters.
The abominations, however, are monsters that nobody wished to face.
To explain, Forbidden are chaos beasts that had been brainwashed and augmented using dark arts and some twisted ancient wisdom. They are sane, but insanely powerful and a bit uncontrollable.
Abominations, however, are insane beasts with power so dangerous that not even you can hold your own against them. Even if all demigods in the four regions were to gather, I doubt we could handle just one abomination.
I learned that at first there were over a hundred of them. However, they fought and killed one another, devouring their kills until only four remained.
Perhaps, seeing his experiment succeed or fail, the man who created them sealed them in dungeons. I honestly don’t know to what extent their power went, but the strongest demigod ruling the Central region wouldn’t dare face them in battle.”
Yggzrael sighed, “In the past, some of the monarchs from the Chaos Region tried to kill the four abominations but were slaughtered instead.”
Even Yeti was taken aback by the abominations’ power.
Just then, a message appeared before Kent.
***
[You have received a side quest: Master of Abominations.]
[Quest Level: SSS]
– Objective: [Kill all Four Abominations and revive them using the abomination contract to become your Abominable subordinates.]
– Reward: [The Revenge of the 14 Sirens, Volume I]
***
Kent looked at Yeti and smiled. Then he waved his hand, and a Tier 17 innate talent awakening pill appeared. On his other palm, a forbidden contract appeared.
“Become my first forbidden Beast companion, and not only would I make you a True Forbidden, something your creator never could, but I would also make you a monarch and one of the strongest Beasts this world had ever seen.
I plan to start with awakening your Innate body.”
The light in Yeti’s eyes widened. In the end, however, he nodded and allowed Kent to initiate the contract. Soon, runes came from the contract and merged with Yeti and Kent.
***
At the same time the contract was initiated, somewhere outside the Tormented Chaos Abyss, a man seated behind a dark grimoire suddenly snapped his head to his left, a furious look appearing in his eyes.
“Who dares mess with my creation?”
This man, someone who, during the Dark Era, had faced the Evil King in combat but lost, growled, his furious tone causing thousands of powerful Celestials to appear in the air around the bone castle he was inside.
His name is Grand Dark Lich Barnabas, one of the seven Grand Rulers of the Star Realm. Under him are exactly 1,200 Celestials, and millions of others, supremes, gods, demigods, and immortals, each a force to be reckoned with.
“My lord, what has happened?” a Celestial with three red eyes on the right side of his face and three green on the left asked.
“Someone touched a minion of mine and has taken them off my network of forbidden beings.”
“WHAT?” the Celestials exclaimed, their aura flaring.
“Who dares steal from the Grand Dark Lich?”
“My lord, where is this vile crime committed? I would like to go there and eradicate this filth.”
Grand Dark Lich Barnabas shook his head.
“You can’t. After that bastard sealed the Three Heavens, descending to the lower heavens became difficult. To go down there, I suspect it would take you 30 years and a lot of energy. By then, this person would have long left.”
“Then are we going to let them walk away?”
Grand Dark Lich Barnabas smirked, “That would be an insult to my reputation.” An evil look appeared in his eyes, causing the gathered Celestials to smile.
This smile only appeared when their leader had done something vile and evil.
“I have already issued an order to all forbidden beings in that place to hunt this person down. Aside from them, I have activated my first, second, and third perfect creations.”
“As expected of the Grand Dark Lich Barnabas,” the Celestials laughed, some of them already seeing the person who dared steal a forbidden from their leader dead and dismantled.
What none of them expected, however, was that in no time, their Grand Dark Lich would shed tears of blood.
What they didn’t know was that, while Kent hadn’t planned to go wild, after he made Yeti his forbidden beast companion, one of the rewards of that quest would reveal something that would make Kent’s blood boil.
Due to this, his suppressed anger would erupt, and with it, the Tormented Chaos Abyss would feel his fury.
