- Chapter 2059: Aquarina’s Wrath

—–
Sylphy had lived an ideal life of relaxation and ease, born with power that could rival the gods, yet never allowed to truly blossom. That was the truth of her life—and her death.
Not even for a moment had anyone here considered the true nature of this war, or the powers far beyond their reach that they had always believed they could somehow grasp and possess.
They had all been fools. Clowns dancing for beings so far beyond their comprehension that there was no hope left but to stand still and accept their deaths.
They were not even worms. They were specks of dust. The greatest beings above them—the ones who truly held power, the ones who truly mattered—were so far beyond their scope that there was nothing they could do.
This was the truth.
This was reality.
This was the world. This was the universe.
Dark. Cold. Cruel.
A life full of happiness was nothing but an illusion. And if one was not strong enough to turn that illusion into reality, then every word they spoke was nothing more than the pathetic delusion of a madman.
The figure hovering in the sky watched them from above before slowly descending. It revealed itself as a humanoid monster—or perhaps a spirit—corrupted by miasma and possessed by a divinity.
“Well done, Sir Dimenion. It seems the troublemaker was a far easier foe than expected. Maybe I shouldn’t have worried.”
“Indeed.”
“Now that my master has been avenged and that girl is dead, we can finally move on to the next phase. The power of the Infinite Mana Battery… you promised I would benefit from it.”
“Lolth, the deal never included such generosity,” Dimenion replied. “You have already taken over the strongest dungeon in the region and even possessed the corpse of the Divine Fire Dragon that dwells within it. Isn’t that more than enough? My master showed you great mercy by allowing your return. That girl, despite her weakness, tore apart half of your soul. It is a miracle you still live—and it is entirely thanks to my master’s boundless generosity. Now he expects your eternal loyalty. Do you understand?”
The name Lolth echoed through the battlefield. Those still conscious slowly snapped back to reality as the horrifying truth settled over them.
“I understand, but—”
“Your task is simple,” Dimenion continued. “Take over this mountain. Subjugate the dwarves and turn them into our slaves. Once we secure a large enough workforce, we will begin construction of the Dimensional Extinguisher. From that moment forward, the true plan begins: the defeat of all the Gods, the conquest of the Living Planet and the countless realms that form its True Soul, and the expansion of my master’s forces beyond this universe.”
Dimenion’s gaze fixed coldly on Lolth. To the shock of everyone present, she had been alive this entire time—secretly ruling the strongest dungeon and serving as the true source of the curse devouring the mountain. Her eyes widened within her vessel as an overwhelming fear gnawed at her core.
Dimenion was not one to joke. His words were truth, and his actions followed without hesitation. He was an entity forged by the Evil God of Dungeons himself, created solely for the extermination of his enemies. A prototype of the complete army yet to come.
Artificial Gods born from Dimensional Energy. Beings that wielded immensely powerful yet ruthlessly efficient divinities capable of nullifying other elements and warping space itself.
The first of the so-called Anti-God Sentinels.
“As you already know, fifteen Planetary Systems under the Gods’ rule have joined our Alliance,” Dimenion explained, leaving the listeners utterly stupefied. “Resources will soon be teleported to us through the Dungeons my master has established on their capital planets. I expect your full cooperation, Lolth.”
“Yes, Lord Dimenion,” she answered at once, all doubt erased. “I shall obey and serve the master.”
“Good.”
They had never imagined the true scale of what was happening.
Interplanetary systems?
A Dimensional Extinguisher?
The world itself possessed a soul forged from countless realms?
Just how vast was everything? How much had always been hidden from them?
Because they were weak?
“Surprised? Shocked?” Dimenion noticed their incredulous stares. “Of course you could never have learned of these things. You are merely small worms crawling beneath the dirt, never meant to touch the sky or see the truth. You lack the eyes for it. You were never truly born into this world… and you never will be. You have lived pathetic, meaningless lives. For that alone, I applaud you for managing to enrage my master. Truly unique… yet still nothing more than worms. Beings meant to be stepped on and to die without ever understanding what killed them.”
“…”
“…”
“…”
The world seemed to shatter around them. Everything happened so fast they could barely comprehend it. And yet, Dimenion was right in every word he had spoken.
They were pathetic. Hopeless. Worms crawling under the dirt.
And they would always be.
“Sylphy’s dead…” Ignatius muttered. “No… wait… No!”
“Master…?” Naturia whispered, desperately searching for her.
“N-No…” Yggdra muttered, struggling to hold the Treant Queen in her giant form as miasma rapidly consumed her.
“S-Sylphy…”
Aquarina’s eyes widened as the titanic demonic tree relentlessly smashed her body, following the orders of its new master. Her scales shattered under the constant battering.
Blood tears spilled from her blue eyes. In that moment, Aquarina lost herself completely.
As her body was torn apart, darkness poured from her wounds—a deep, black fog that spread endlessly in every direction.
“Sylphy…”
Her entire existence warped and twisted monstrously. Countless red eyes opened across her form as she felt herself cracking, shattering.
The truth behind her bloodline—the power she had suppressed all this time, which had continued growing alongside her—finally manifested.
“AAAAAAAARRGGGGHHHH!”
“…?!”
“…!”
“…!!!”
Lolth, the Infernal Treant Queen, the Demonic Tree Spirit, and Dimenion all turned toward the source of the scream. It was another young hero who had always stood by Sylphy’s side—the girl who loved her more than anything.
“What is this darkness?! Where is it coming from?! Unghh?!” the Treant Queen shrieked as countless tentacles pierced her Tier 10 body, tearing her apart piece by piece.
“AAAAGGHHH!”
CRAAASH!
At the same time, the Demonic Tree roared, unleashing a Domain of Miasma and Demonic Energy to fight back against the overflowing darkness. Yet it was slowly pushed back as Aquarina’s expanding power battered its body without mercy.
