Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2130: The storm came

Chapter 2130: The storm came
As we were leaving, there was a voice that suddenly came from around us.
“As long as you don’t lose your way, you will be able to find the truth.”
I couldn’t help turning back to look at the wood elemental ancestors, but it didn’t seem like there was a reaction from them. However, I could tell that this was their voices that had suddenly rang out like this.
As for why they would give this kind of advice…
The wood elementals around us had awkward looks on their faces, showing that they had no idea why their ancestors had done this as well.
Though that didn’t stop the members of my group from looking at them as if they were pressuring them to say something.
In the end, I said, “It’s fine. I’m sure that they have a reason for telling us this.”
It didn’t seem like the people of my group were fully convinced of this, but it wasn’t as if there was anything else that I could say about this. This was something that the wood elemental ancestors refused to share with us, so there really wasn’t anything that we could do regarding this matter.
At the very least, we shouldn’t let this ruin our relationship with the elementals since we would need them in the future.
So while there was an awkward mood in the air, we were still able to leave on good terms with the elementals in the end.
When we came out, we did the same thing as usual where we sealed off the entrance to the territory of the elementals.
But there was a problem that came after we did this and left the taboo zone.
“What are all of you doing here?”
I was shocked to find that there were messengers from all the different countries that were waiting there for us. With the expressions on their faces, it seemed like many of them had been considering whether they should charge in to find us or not.
They certainly wouldn’t have done that if there wasn’t something that was seriously wrong.
“It’s a disaster.”
That was the gist of what they were saying.
It was all related to the corruption energy that had been spread across the continent. They had been able to deal with it until now with the weapons that we provided them, but all of a sudden the corruption energy seemed to have been stirred by something.
All of a sudden, there were corruption energy monsters that suddenly exploded all over the continent.
No one knew why this was the case, but there really was no time to think about it since they had to deal with all the corruption energy monsters that appeared.
“What is the biggest situation?”
When I asked this question, I could see all of the awkward looks that appeared on the faces of these messengers. It was a scene that I was familiar with since the elementals had acted the same way previously.
But still, it wasn’t as if we had time for this.
“Tell me.” I said in a firm voice.
Finally, one of the messengers said, “It’s the Kite Kingdom.”
Without even waiting for anyone else to say anything, I jumped onto Joan’s back and took off.
I could see that the royal guards were following behind me, but they were a bit too slow for me which was why I pressed my hand against Joan’s forehead.
With the two of us working together like this, Joan’s speed started to increase.
It didn’t take long for her to completely outpace the rest of the royal guards.
The only thing that was on my mind at this time was whether I would be able to return in time to save my family.
This was a speed that I had never reached before, so it didn’t take long for us to arrive back at the Kite Kingdom’s borders.
As soon as we arrived, I could see the chaos that was happening at the borders.
Since this was my kingdom, I had naturally provided plenty of divine energy weapons to our troops to ensure our safety. But even then, it really didn’t seem like there were enough people to take care of all of this.
It was as if the corruption energy monsters were coming out of the seams with how many there were.
Even so, it didn’t seem like our soldiers were about to be overwhelmed by them.
It seemed like the training that we had done with our soldiers had certainly paid off with how they handled it.
But it also seemed like it might eventually become a problem with how many corruption energy monsters were appearing. It really didn’t seem like there would be an end to how many there were of them.
Which was why I patted Joan’s head once more.
Joan knew exactly what I was telling her to do, especially since she could feel the divine energy that I was releasing. She didn’t say anything as she absorbed that divine energy and gathered it inside of her mouth.
Once it reached a certain point, she released it in one breath that covered the entire battlefield.
If it was before, we certainly would have never been able to release a breath of this level. But with the different training that we had undergone and with the increase to the power of the Mark of God, this had become possible.
With this breath clearing out all of the corruption energy monsters, it gave the soldiers on the ground some time to breathe.
At the same time, I could see the way that they all looked up at us.
There was hope in their eyes as they looked up.
“Keep holding the lines! Support will be here soon!”
Cheers immediately erupted after I shouted this, but I didn’t remain here any longer.
Even though there were more corruption energy monsters that were forming in the distance, there was only one thing that was on my mind right now.
I had to get to the capital as soon as possible.
