Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2182: Deciding factor

Chapter 2182: Deciding factor
When the rain of weapons faded away, there was still something standing there.
“Huff, huff, huff, you almost got me.”
While War said this, there was this dark energy that flowed from its surroundings.
This corruption energy came from the corruption energy monsters that had been around us.
As long as there were these corruption energy monsters, it really didn’t seem like War would go down. With these corruption energy monsters sacrificing themselves, it seemed like War would be able to heal up just from absorbing them.
“We’re still missing that one decisive factor…” I muttered to myself seeing this.
The only thing that I could think of at this point was that there had to be some kind of core that War was made from. If I could find that core and strike it, then I would be able to take down War for good.
“I need more speed and more swords.”
If I couldn’t find it, the only thing that I could do was strip everything that War had away until I reached that core.
It was just that this was something that was much easier said than done…
The way that War was recovering was much faster than I was able to gather my power. By the time that I even gathered half of what was needed, War would have already recovered.
Once War recovered, it wasn’t as if it was going to let me do what I wanted. If I had to guess, it was very likely that War had some kind of tricks hidden up its sleeves.
If it really had no choice, there were things that it would be desperate enough to do.
“Ugh…”
I didn’t have to do anything in the end.
All of a sudden, it seemed like there was something that had happened to War.
From the reaction that came not just from War’s voice, but also from where the corruption energy was gathering, it seemed like there was something that was blocking this corruption energy from gathering.
It seemed like there was something that was drawing the corruption energy away from War.
It was as if there was a second source that was just as strong as War that could rip the corruption energy away.
“You can’t do this! You belonged to our lord!” War shouted all of a sudden, but it didn’t seem like there was anyone in particular that it was shouting at.
That was until there was a large shadow that appeared.
Looking up, there was this large figure that came out of the sky that I immediately recognized. Though I didn’t think that he would actually take this form and show himself like this.
The thing that I was even more surprised by was who was on Zeldir’s back.
“What are you doing?” I shouted up at that small figure, but it didn’t seem like she was listening to me. It seemed like the only thing that she was focused on was War.
After all, she was the one that was disrupting the corruption energy from reaching War with her power.
Though this certainly wasn’t what I wanted to see.
“Get ready, I’ll create an opening.”
It seemed like she wasn’t going to argue with me about whether she should be here or not. The only thing that Dorothy was focused on was taking away the corruption energy that was healing War.
When she was this determined, there really wasn’t a single thing that I could do other than gather my divine energy.
I did the same thing as before where I had Lupus circle the area around War while Queenie sent me divine energy. With the three of us working together like this, it didn’t take long for us to set up the same domain as before.
But I could tell that it was slower than before…
I wasn’t able to gather the same amount of divine energy as before, but it didn’t seem like there was much time left.
So I was planning on firing this attack before anything else could happen.
“It’s not enough, keep going!”
I stopped myself when I heard this voice from above.
It seemed like even now, Dorothy was giving me orders on how to do this.
Though it wasn’t as if I doubted her since she had a better understanding of War’s condition than I did. I knew that she had her reason for giving this order, which was why I stopped in the end.
“Tell me when you can’t hold on any longer.” I said to her in a calm voice before I continued gathering the divine energy.
I didn’t know if anything would happen, but at least it seemed like she was confident that she was able to do this. At the same time, it didn’t seem like War’s healing was going as it planned.
During the time that we had been preparing for that final strike, War had been cursing out Dorothy the entire time. The way that War cursed Dorothy was as if she was some kind of traitor.
I could see that there were those that were paying attention to this and taking note of this, but this wasn’t then time to be thinking of that.
“Now.”
When Dorothy gave that signal, I could see the change that came over War.
It had been slowly recovering, but now it was as if there was something that had ripped it open. The parts of War seemed to be struggling as much as it could to keep itself intact, but the outside force was ripping it apart.
From this, I could see that there was something right in the center.
It seemed that War didn’t even bother hiding its core as it never thought that it would be defeated.
Since that was the case, then I wouldn’t hesitate to strike it.
But as I was about to, it seemed like there was some kind of swelling that came from the core.
It seemed like War was about to blow itself up just to stop us.
