Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2198: A bit slow (2)

“I heard that!” Alidus said, but he didn’t really have time to follow up on that.
After all, there were daggers that had appeared around him.
Though these were daggers that were made of metal, the edges of these daggers were dulled so that they wouldn’t be able to cut anything. At most, they would only be able to leave a bruise if they were fired with enough strength.
Still, it wasn’t as if Alidus wanted to get hurt.
It wasn’t as if he was some kind of M that enjoyed being hurt by others.
Which was why he raised his club and swung at the daggers that came at him.
As he did this, he channeled the divine energy inside the club to send the daggers behind these first daggers flying.
Just with how he used the club’s power, it was clear that he was quite good at controlling this relic. Only it didn’t seem like he was bringing out the full power of this relic in the end.
After all, I could see that the divine energy wasn’t following the right flow.
It was being forced out to a certain extent which made it weaker than it could have been if he had swung it the proper way. But it wasn’t as if telling him would work since the flow of the divine energy changed with how it was swung.
This was something that he had to figure out on his own.
Other than sending these daggers at Alidus, I also sent them flying at the others that were in the domain.
All of them had their own way of dealing with the daggers, but none of them were using their methods correctly. All of them were basically forcing out the divine energy that they could use instead of drawing on it properly.
If this was before, I never would have thought about how inefficient their usage of the relics were.
But now that I could see it, it was hard to unsee it.
So the only thing that could be done was to help them figure it out.
It was just that it really didn’t seem like they were going to figure it out.
As I kept sending more and more of these daggers flying at them, it really didn’t seem like they were able to see through the clues that I was leaving them. It seemed like they were more focused on how they used their relics rather than observing my domain.
“Watch carefully before the daggers are formed and see how they are formed.”
These words from me caught the ones inside of the domain off guard.
There were some that weren’t able to react in time and were focused on blocking the daggers still.
But there were those that were able to take those words to heart and looked carefully as the daggers formed in the air. They were watching as the creation divine energy gathered to form these daggers.
However, it didn’t seem like they were able to see through this right away.
Since they had been focused on the daggers forming instead of the direction that the daggers were flying, they were hit with a few of them. I didn’t hold back at all when I fired these daggers, so there were a few bruises that appeared on their bodies.
I still believed that the best way to learn was pain since it would make this lesson harder for them to forget.
It definitely wasn’t me enjoying the feeling of bullying them like this and taking a tiny bit of revenge.
The ones that were hit with the daggers didn’t stop what they were doing, but they did adapt. They were focused on the daggers forming, but they were also focused on the direction that the daggers went.
It wasn’t because they were splitting their focus, it was because they noticed that there was something strange about the path that the daggers traveled.
It seemed like the daggers were traveling on the path of least resistance with how it didn’t seem like they were losing any speed while flying. It really seemed like there was something that was pushing those daggers along.
“So this is what you mean by flow…”
Old man Lancelot seemed like he was slowly understanding what I was trying to teach them.
To test this, I specially shot two daggers from his blind spots.
As if he could sense it with his sixth sense, he suddenly turned around and swung his sword at it. When he did, it really seemed like he swung his sword at a speed that wasn’t fit for a sword.
It moved as if it was slowly falling down.
However, there was something strange about the way that it fell.
Once the daggers made contact with the sword, they didn’t seem to stand a chance against the sword itself as the sword suddenly sped up. When the daggers landed, they had been cut to pieces.
“Do it again.” Old man Lancelot said all of a sudden.
However, I just pushed my hand and used an invisible force to throw him out of my domain.
He looked at me as if he was confused why I did this, so I explained, “There’s no need for me to do anything for you anymore. You’ve already found the trick, so you just need to study it on your own for a bit. Once you’re done, then I’ll spar with you again.”
Old man Lancelot didn’t answer at first, but then he slowly gave a nod before walking away.
While walking away, it seemed like he was completely focused on the sword that he was wielding. He did find a clue regarding the flow that I was talking about, but it wasn’t as if he had completely deciphered it yet.
This wasn’t something that I could tell him about, this was something that he had to figure out on his own or he would pick up bad habits while trying to look for the things that I told him about.
“Now, let’s keep going.” I said to the ones that hadn’t figured anything out yet.
