Voidwave still managed to keep their territories since everyone was terrified of their Formation Arrays. Voidwave couldn’t use the majority of their Formation Arrays, but the other Organizations didn’t know that.

However, after Golden Ember left, Goldfire met with some issues. They received over three declarations of battle, and while there were no all-out wars, they actually lost some of the non-lethal battles.

The Four Dragons didn’t have it easy either. After all, while they had a lot of Fulfilled Crushers, they didn’t have all of their powerful leaders anymore.

Voidwave stagnated, while the other two were fighting for their lives.

After around 400 years, something big happened.

Goldfire was attacked without a declaration of battle and lost.

Surprisingly, the Organization that destroyed them was a newcomer. They had just joined a couple of decades ago by conquering one of the weaker Organizations before they attacked Goldfire.

Nobody had cared a lot about that Organization previously. Their lineup hadn’t even been that scary. Sure, they had ten Fulfilled Crushers, but which Organization didn’t have ten Fulfilled Crushers at this point?

Yet, when they had attacked Goldfire, they had actually attacked with a Unique Crusher.

Naturally, since there was a new Unique Crusher in the Secondary Sector, people became interested. Did this person have a big background?

Apparently, they didn’t. At least, they never really talked about their background. They said that they were here to make a name for themselves, but they didn’t say that they didn’t belong to a Peak Organization.

This new Organization was called the Wave of Freedom.

After Wave of Freedom conquered Goldfire, they became unassailable. They only lost a single Fulfilled Crusher during the battle, but managed to gain five additional ones. They could already take out Goldfire with their previous lineup. With their new lineup, they had essentially become invincible.

Yet, just a century later, another shocking thing happened.

An old Organization declared war on Wave of Freedom, and Wave of Freedom accepted.

During the battle, it was revealed that the old Organization also had a Unique Crusher. According to them, this Unique Crusher had been one of their Chosen Disciples, who had broken through. Naturally, that Chosen Disciple also became the new Head of the Organization.

However, shortly before the battle, something even crazier happened.

Wave of Freedom unveiled a second Unique Crusher!

When the attacking Organization realized that Wave of Freedom suddenly had two Unique Crushers, things changed.

Everyone had been ready to fight, but in the end, nobody actually fought.

The attacking Organization capitulated without putting up a fight and was assimilated by Wave of Freedom.

All of this happened surprisingly quickly and smoothly. One could almost assume that it was staged.

With three Unique Crushers and over 30 Fulfilled Crushers, Wave of Freedom became the overlord of the Secondary Sector.

Everyone expected Wave of Freedom to expand rapidly with their newfound power, but nothing like that happened.

Usually, when an overlord was born, they quickly consumed most of the other Organizations to gather resources, but not this time.

Instead, Wave of Freedom was surprisingly quiet. It was almost like they were waiting for something.

Yet, while Wave of Freedom was essentially doing nothing, something else happened.

Voidwave dissolved.

The remaining members of Voidwave declared the Organization’s dissolution and liquidated it. Transcendents received a free ticket out of the Secondary Sector and a Grade Three Energy Stone. For a Transcendent, a Grade Three Energy Stone was quite a lot of money. Primals received a free ticket and a Grade Four Energy Stone. New, Minor, and Medium Crushers received a Grade Five Energy Stone.

Major Crushers received three Grade Five Energy Stones. Advanced Crushers received ten Grade Five Energy Stones. Fulfilled Crushers received one Grade Six Energy Stone.

Voidwave’s dissolution came out of nowhere, and people started to look at Wave of Freedom. Was it because of them?

Some years after Voidwave’s dissolution, Kyle received a diplomatic notice from the Four Dragons.

It said that Wave of Freedom had given the Four Dragons a diplomatic notice. In it, Wave of Freedom warned the Four Dragons. They said that they would soon become the overlords. However, they also said that they were willing to give the Four Dragons an opportunity to leave with their belongings. They could dissolve their Organization like Voidwave.

If the Four Dragons refused, Wave of Freedom would keep sending declarations of battle towards them.

This diplomatic notice confirmed one of Star Genesis’ suspicions.

Wave of Freedom was not unaffiliated. They just acted like they weren’t.

Naturally, the Organization they were affiliated with was the Contrast Empire.

The way the diplomatic notice was written confirmed as much. The Contrast Empire was not breaking any rules by sending these three Unique Crushers into the Secondary Sector, but they were breaking an unspoken agreement between the different players.

It was an agreement to keep the efficiency of the Secondary Sector high. By only sending one Unique Crusher, the parent Organizations, assuming there were four in the game, would have a 25% chance to get a new Legendary Crusher. They invested one Unique Crusher for a 25% chance to get a Legendary Crusher in return.

Now, if a parent Organization sent two Unique Crushers, they would have a higher than 90% chance to get a Legendary Crusher for their investment due to the incredible power difference. However, that was only true if none of the other three players adapted.

Since there were two Unique Crushers now, everyone else would also send in an additional one to keep their 25% chance. Now, everyone would need to invest two Unique Crushers for the same price of maybe receiving one Legendary Crusher.

Nobody wanted that. Even more, if there were too many Unique Crushers in one Organization, there was a chance that nobody would become a Legendary Crusher. All the impact and renown would gather on several Unique Crushers, which might not be enough to create a Legendary Crusher.

If a poor person received 1.5 million dollars, a new millionaire was born. If two poor people received 750,000 dollars each, no new millionaires were born.

Because of that, Wave of Freedom kept its allegiance secret, and this was also the reason why they were so friendly to Voidwave and the Four Dragons, giving them an opportunity to leave. The Contrast Empire didn’t want to anger the other big Organizations too much. Sure, they hated the Array of Stars, but they also didn’t want them to stop sending Disciples to their Secondary Sectors.

As for the war with Goldfire, the Contrast Empire probably just gave the Grand Exchange some money in a secret deal.

Star Genesis could see where all of this was going, which was why she sent a diplomatic notice to Kyle.

The Contrast Empire was preparing to make a move on Azure Comet.

Ever since Azure Comet had destroyed Dawnlight, the Contrast Empire had paid close attention to this Secondary Sector and its production of Karmic Luck.

For a couple of centuries after Kyle’s status as a criminal was voided, the Karmic Luck had been coming in, but after the Four Dragons and Goldfire went through a couple of battles, the Secondary Sector calmed down again, which reduced the Secondary Sector’s output again. The output wasn’t horrible yet, but the Contrast Empire could see where it would go. It would only keep dropping.

Because of that, they sent in their players, or, more precisely, their cleaners.

After the cleaners were established as real players, they would take care of the dirt.

This was what Star Genesis warned Kyle about.

A team of three or more Unique Crushers would soon come for him.

At most, he had one more century.
