Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1663: Undead Army vs Alien Army

“I have an army!”
Vista turned around as he could feel an enormous amount of ena coming out of Elysion’s body.
He knew Elysion’s reputation, but he never saw Elysion using his power with his own eyes.
In fact, not many people had seen him using his power. So, they thought this was just a rumor created by other people.
However, from this amount of ena alone, he realized that the rumors might be right.
Elysion might indeed be the strongest person in the world.
Numerous hands emerged from the ground. They pulled their bodies up from the ground.
The number was so high that it felt like the entire soil in this area had been scooped out.
“What is this?” His subordinate gasped, unable to believe the number of undead that had come out.
Zombies, skeletons, and other undead came out. The number started at a hundred thousand and continued to increase.
In fact, they had a hard time figuring out its number.
Some undead wielded weapons and armor, while some were using their own bodies.
“How many are they?” Vista gulped. If this kind of army attacked the human settlement, he couldn’t imagine how massive the destruction would be.
“You are already surprised by this number? I have only spawned three hundred thousand undead.” Elysion chuckled. “Our mission is just to slow them down for a couple of days, so it’s not wise to spend everything here.”
“Three hundred thousand?” Vista felt a chill down his spine. And it looked like it didn’t put a dent in Elysion’s reserve. “Sir, I might have overstepped my bounds for asking this question, but I have to ask this question. How many undead have you prepared for this battle?”
“For this battle alone? It’s not much.” Elysion looked innocent as if he were doing things that were not a big deal. “Only thirty million.”
“Thirty…” Vista gasped.
The Azilia Kingdom’s population was about a hundred million before the disaster. After the disaster, that number went down by 20%.
And most of them were still normal citizens, not soldiers.
Meanwhile, Elysion actually had undead soldiers, almost half of their entire population. If he truly invaded the Azilia Kingdom with this army, they really had no way to stop him.
Fortunately, Elysion wasn’t an enemy. Considering he had come previously to warn Nathan, Vista thought Nathan was the reason Elysion didn’t harm them.
“Anyway, I’m going to take over this battle. If you still want to be here, you’d better do something to help. For example, go to the furthest spot on the battlefield and ensure that the alien army doesn’t split up.
“Surely, you can do that much, right?” Elysion smirked.
“Y-Yes.” Vista nodded. Although he didn’t like the idea of being ordered around by Elysion, the latter had the power to change the battle situation. If he ended up leaving, the Azilia Kingdom would perish.
“Go then!” Elysion waved his hand down.
The undead army started marching in an organized manner. There were millions of aliens in front of him, but it didn’t matter.
When the two armies first clashed, the undead army managed to halt their advance. The aliens still had the superior might, but it would take time for them to take down all these undead.
Still, there were many elite class aliens on their side. These aliens started to make their move.
One alien leaped into the air to crush the undead, but a bolt of dark energy hit him from below, stopping him in the air and causing him to bounce back. His fall ended up killing the lower-level aliens.
The alien raised its head, seeing a lich standing in the middle of the army.
Another alien advanced with its blade-like arm, but it clashed swords with a dullahan on the undead side.
Several other unique undead also took on their respective armies. Their power was inferior to the elite class aliens, especially when the latter utilized their unique abilities, but they were more than enough to halt their advances.
After all, these unique undead were revived undead, not Elysion’s familiars.
He had prepared a lot of them to waste their energy and time.
In addition, an army of skeletons formed behind the infantry. They held bows in their hands and released the arrows in volleys, raining down on the aliens.
There was even a third layer where the undead started digging ditches.
All of them were controlled by Elysion and his death gods. They were preparing many things so that by the time the infantry collapsed, the ditches would be more than enough to halt their advance. Then, there would be more undead stopping them after they passed the ditches.
Elysion smirked, looking at the situation carefully. As long as nothing required his attention, he didn’t plan to join this battle directly. He would let the undead army continue slowing down the enemy.
Looking at the progress, he believed he could at least shrink the enemy’s army in a few days. He would still have a lot of undead in reserve, but Nathan’s team should have gone back by that time.
A part of him wanted to use his power directly to destroy all these aliens. He believed he could do it.
After all, he was probably the only person in this world who had formed his divine body.
It would only be a matter of time until he formed his godhood and became a god.
With his power, killing all these aliens would be troublesome, but not too hard.
Unfortunately, the moment he made his move, Azathoth would realize, and the black cell would do everything in its power to destroy this world.
Hence, he could only stay in the back and watch over this world while entrusting the real fight to Nathan and his team.
“I have done everything I can. My disciple… sorry that Master wasn’t able to help you like this in the past. However, please rest assured, I would do everything in my power to ensure that the chance you had given us wouldn’t be wasted.”
Elysion’s eyes turned solemn as he snapped his fingers, summoning even more undead.
