- Chapter 1673: Difference in Strength

As soon as Nathan gave his order, Evelyn teleported them to the right side of the battlefield. This way, they could begin eliminating their targets.
As ordered, Noelle and Alavenya sped up. Their roles were clear.
Several elite class aliens came toward them.
Noelle swung her blade. “Demonic Sword.”
Her slash forced several aliens to stop it at the same time, producing so much energy that it shook the battlefield violently.
Alavenya struck her enemies as well. Her Dragon Fist might not be as refined as the Dragon King’s, but she also received the instruction of a true god.
If she were able to refine her Dragon Fist even more while increasing her divinity, she would be able to walk the path of a martial god.
Those two opened a path for Nathan and the rest of the team. It wasn’t a narrow path but a massive one where they could pass with their eyes closed.
“!!!” The Dragon King smiled.
“Looks like your girl has grown a lot,” said Leyfon with an excited expression.
The Dragon King muttered, “Can you see this from up there, wife? Alavenya might be able to surpass our imagination…”
Count Ashton had the same opinion, but since his position was closer to Zack, he spoke to him instead. “Zack. Your daughter seems to have reached the same level as your father.”
“Her strength might not be as polished, but she is approaching her grandfather’s level. I hope that he is able to watch over her progress.” Zack nodded.
Duke Coline laughed. “You should be glad, but at the same time, you shouldn’t. I heard they’re going to become gods, so how is it? Having a goddess as your daughter?”
“Rather than my feelings, shouldn’t you ask that to the Pope? How will the Holy Kingdom feel once their saintess ascends to godhood?”
“Right? More importantly, Sera was once known as the corrupted saintess. At this rate, wouldn’t people think that the Holy Kingdom’s teachings are wrong?”
The Pope smiled wryly. “That’s for me to worry about, not you two.”
He couldn’t really deny them, though.
The worry was there because of Sera’s past status, no matter how much that perception had changed. Some saints and saintesses might become corrupted later, thinking it was the right path.
Nevertheless, he couldn’t really do anything about it other than preparing for the chaos.
Fortunately, even though they would forget the divine bodies later, they wouldn’t really ascend to godhood in this world.
Still, it would definitely bring a lot of impacts in the future when they returned to this world.
He just had to spend that time preparing for what was about to come.
Even with all those problems, the Pope kept praying that they would survive to the very end and win against the black cell.
He didn’t want them to die, even if their deaths would actually erase all his problems.
“Rather than thinking about the Holy Kingdom, you young people need to focus on the enemies before you. Don’t burden those kids too much.” The Pope scoffed.
“Hey, hey. I can agree if you want to call Zack and Luke youngsters, but I’m from the same generation as you.” Duke Coline shook his head.
“No. You’re 15 years younger than me, so you’re still a youngster in my eyes.” The Pope waved down his hand, not accepting rebuttal to his view.
Duke Coline was speechless, but he couldn’t really say anything back. He had to focus on killing the aliens in front of them.
The old men were fighting while enjoying chats from time to time. Even though they looked nonchalant, they exerted enough pressure on the aliens to divert their power into this spot.
As a result, Nathan and the others could continue to move closer and closer to their targets.
Eventually, Nathan managed to reach the alpha class aliens. There were a total of four alpha class aliens.
So, Nathan asked Xolotl, Garuda, and Tiamat to take care of one while he faced the last one. This time, he didn’t accept anyone who wanted to fight the alpha class aliens, even if Fenrir, Orochi, and the others were crying.
The Pope couldn’t help but say, “To think that they’ve become this strong. That Luna and Evelyn are one thing, but Nathan has grown surpassing all of us.”
Count Ashton smiled. His daughter was the first girl Nathan had, so he was proud of her.
Still, his strength was indeed scary. Count Ashton muttered, “Nathan’s power alone is too weird. The force that he can generate is something I can’t comprehend.”
“That black dog is also something else. While it’s true that their powers are surprising, the dog seems to be the calmest person there. He can see through everything and make sure that his power will impact not just his battle but other battles. He skillfully assists the entire team while fighting such a powerful alien. More importantly, his divine beasts seem to be much stronger than any divine beings we’ve summoned.”
The Pope nodded in agreement. “Yeah. The amount of ena they possess is equal to my Michael, but their strength far surpasses that.”
As one of the strongest summoners, the Pope has focused on cultivating Michael so that he could reach his former peak before becoming a familiar. Unfortunately, due to the lack of elite class aliens and the fact that he was too busy with the Holy Kingdom, he could only bring Michael to the 25 million ena mark.
Yet, the Pope could see the difference between his Michael and Nathan’s familiars. It was as if Nathan’s divine beasts were on a whole different level.
Surprisingly, Michael added, “That’s normal. Most likely, those three divine beasts have reached the true god level. The dog and the bird seem to carry similar power to the Son of God or Satan. However, that dragon seems to be at the same level as our God.”
“!!!” The Pope was quite surprised, never thinking that Tiamat was actually at that level.
It was no wonder that Nathan could be this strong.
