Supreme Harem God System - Chapter 2291: WAR.

Chapter 2291: WAR.
“Alright.”
Azriel nodded as he then closed his eyes and—
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
The Universe reacted in anger like it usually does when the Anomaly attacks.
Or at least, that’s how it felt to the Infinities. Soon, however, their expressions changed as they realized something. It wasn’t the entire Universe that was trembling, no, it was something… much calmer.
It was only the space they were in.
Space that… no one should know about.
Space that… no being should be able to sense.
Except…
Except for the Universe’s Will itself.
As the Universe’s Will, as long as it was not hidden inside an Infinity’s Domain, it was almost impossible for anyone to hide anything from the Universe’s eyes.
The Infinities’ Dimension was no different, it wasn’t hidden from the Universe’s Will. Of course, the Infinities had the resources to hide it, they just didn’t bother since no one could access the Universe’s Will and find them.
No one had that ability, no one other than… a Universe’s Child.
And if the Fifth was somehow targeting just the space they were in, it meant he knew where they were and if he knew that then…
That makes the Fifth the… Universe’s Child.
The realization kicked in almost instantly and the Infinities… for a good few seconds, they froze.
They knew that the Universe had chosen its ’Hero’ not long ago. All this while, they had been doubting each other.
Out of the Four, Seraphielle was completely out of the picture since she could instantly use that power to get rid of the Anomaly, but the other three were still suspects in each other’s eyes.
The thought of someone else having that power, well, it did come to their minds but in their arrogance, none of them considered that possibility for long.
And now…
Now the Universe’s Child was standing right in front of them.
And if the Fifth was the Universe’s Child… then that makes the Anomaly, the Universe’s sole enemy, his enemy as well.
The Fifth and the Anomaly couldn’t be allies, this proves it.
And now that it has been proven…
Slowly, the three Infinities turned towards… Orravyn.
Orravyn stood still, not knowing what he was supposed to say. He had planned to counter anything Azriel said or showed but this…
This couldn’t be countered.
His powers were real, and a Universe’s Child couldn’t possibly be together with the Universe’s Enemy, not when their lives and powers are connected to each other.
Then…
The fingers were now pointed at him, the one who had been pointing his finger at the Fifth the most.
“Orravyn.”
Seraphielle was the first to call out.
Orravyn looked at her and didn’t say anything, he just stared at her, trying to read her face. Before she could say anything, however—
“Have I proven myself now?”
Azriel asked without any change in his expression. He waved his hand and the shaking stopped. Then he looked at Orravyn and—
“This is why I do not trust any one of you.
Because if I do reveal myself, I know what you lot will do.”
“So you are scared.”
Ul’Thakar grinned.
“I simply do not like having a target on my back.”
“Grand words for someone who was talking about dragons, wolves, mortals and gods.”
Ul’Thakar didn’t let it go, he just grinned.
“For someone who had been with the Universe since its beginning and still wasn’t chosen by it, you speak an awful lot as well.”
Azriel chuckled.
“You…”
Ul’Thakar wanted to say something, but there was honestly nothing he could say, so he stayed silent.
Azriel shrugged, then he looked at the other Infinities and—
“Anyways, I have proven myself now. I am not with the Anomaly, neither do I know much about him. What you do with this information, whether you believe it or not, it doesn’t matter.
I contacted you because I felt you needed my help, but clearly—”
Azriel glanced at Ul’Thakar and—
“You do not.
You must be able to handle this yourself or maybe…”
The Universe’s Child then glanced at Seraphielle and—
“Maybe I am ruining some of your plans and am being a hindrance. So I will excuse myself. If you wish to contact me then—
I wish you luck. I do not like being bothered so I probably won’t answer again.”
With those words, the screen disappeared.
Azriel broke the contact, leaving the room silent.
“What did he mean by ruining someone’s plan…?”
Equarios narrowed his eyes as he glanced at Seraphielle with a suspicious look on his face. Seraphielle, however, just snorted.
“Has time had an effect on you or are you acting ignorant on purpose?”
She asked as she glared at Orravyn and—
“Is it not obvious what he was trying to say?”
Hearing those words, Equarios turned towards Orravyn too.
The Anomaly…
If they thought about it properly and recalled previous conversations, every single time, one way or the other, Orravyn took the lead, and even though he usually dealt with problems like this quite early, in the Anomaly’s case…
They did not have even a single lead, everything they knew about it was merely speculation, speculation Orravyn made and… no one knew if it was true or not…
It was… definitely suspicious.
It was almost as if… Orravyn was purposefully misguiding them.
Orravyn understood what the other three were thinking and he—
“You should understand it as well. I was set up.”
He tried to defend himself.
“Think of it yourself.
Why contact us only now?
He is the Universe’s Child, he is supposed to be its savior and yet…
The Anomaly has been devouring worlds for years now and he hasn’t done anything to stop him. He doesn’t even seem like he cares, how could the Universe choose him?
He must have fooled the Universe using some kind of trickery, trickery he is using against us as well.
Do not fall for it, I firmly believe that he and the Anomaly are together in this. This must be their attempt to create a rift between us. You must no—”
“Orravyn.”
Before Orravyn could complete his sentence, Seraphielle called out and this time, there was no trace of warmth in her tone. Her eyes looked… empty, it was like she was staring at the enemy who had killed or taken away everything she desired.
“Seraphielle—”
“Stop it.”
Seraphielle waved her hand.
“The truth does not matter.
A lie replaces the truth if it is backed by evidence.
He gave his, you have not.
You should understand what that means.”
“Do you truly believe I am together with the Anomaly?”
Orravyn asked directly, wanting to counter in one way or another and Seraphielle—
“Would you not have if it were you?”
She asked and Orravyn…
He couldn’t answer.
No, more accurately, he knew the answer, he just… couldn’t say it out loud since it wouldn’t work in his favor. Not that the situation was in his favor right now either.
“Seraphielle, I am not working with the Anomaly.”
He tried to say it, to somehow make her believe him but Seraphielle—
“It doesn’t matter.”
Seraphielle declared.
“In this game of who is responsible and who is not, it is me and my Faction that is paying the price.
One of you three is working together with the Anomaly, I do not know who it is, neither do I care.
I need this to stop.
I need the Universe to know that Light is not an easy target that anyone can point fingers at.
I…”
Seraphielle paused and then—
“I need compensation.”
She demanded boldly.
“Compensation…?”
Orravyn frowned and Seraphielle nodded—
“I lost a decent amount of strength and your factions swallowed my worlds, you know that as well. It is time you take responsibility and compensate for that lost strength.”
The room fell silent, the three Infinities looked at Seraphielle like she had lost her mind. The change was too sudden, just a few minutes ago, she was talking to the Fifth, and even when he pushed her buttons, she did not lose her calm.
But now…
Now it seemed like she was ready to go to war if that’s what it took.
“What compensation?”
Orravyn asked, he still needed more time, time to understand what was happening, what Seraphielle was planning and to come up with an answer.
Seraphielle paused for a moment, almost as if she was thinking about how to answer. In her mind, however, she was having an entirely different conversation.
’We are prepared.’
And the moment that message came, Seraphielle hid her smile before it even reached her face and looked right into Orravyn’s eyes.
“Hundred Supreme Borns.”
She demanded.
Then she looked at the other two Infinities and—
“From all of you.”
And in an instant—
The Infinities lost their calm.
“WHAT!?”
Ul’Thakar was the first to react.
“Have you lost your mind!?”
“You captured about twenty of my worlds,
I think I am being more than fair.”
Seraphielle did not back down.
“You lost your worlds, we did not take them from you. Don’t blame your incompetence on us!”
Ul’Thakar snapped.
“So I take it you refuse?”
Seraphielle asked.
“Yes.
I refuse.”
Ul’Thakar answered in a heavy voice and Seraphielle, her gaze hardened—
“Do not blame me then.”
She spoke, then—
BOOOOOOOOOOM
Her Aura exploded and her voice echoed throughout the Universe—
“I, Seraphielle Light, declare war on Ul’Thakar Darkness and the Darkness Faction.”
It happened.
