Supreme Harem God System - Chapter 2317: Did you have fun?

Chapter 2317: Did you have fun?
“PULL BACK FROM THE CENTER!”
The Ashen Tide General commanded.
“PULL BACK DAMMIT!!
OR I WILL KILL YOU PERSONALLY!!!”
He screamed and the Ashen Tide, as unorganized and rogue as they were—
With their General outright threatening them—
They pulled back despite all the fun they were having crushing heads. Their movements weren’t smooth, but it was enough.
The forward pressure eased, and the Ironclad Dominion reacted instantly.
The Ironclad Dominion reacted instantly, their constructs surged forward and their shields closed in, exactly as the little girl predicted.
“They’re committing,”
The General commented.
The girl nodded lightly, then, she smiled.
“Good.”
Her gaze moved again.
“Left flank, make them move behind the ridge. Tell them not to attack yet.”
She spoke.
And the General ordered as he was commanded—
“LEFT FLANK! MOVE BEHIND THE RIDGE! DON’T ATTACK YET!”
“But we have an opening—”
Someone tried to counter but—
“DO AS I SAID!”
The General screamed and the people followed.
“They’re watching that side. If you move now, they’ll reinforce.”
The girl spoke lightly, the General didn’t know how much of what she said was true, but he just decided to trust her.
His orders spread, the battlefield shifted, the Iron Constructs moved forward into empty space and the Ashen Tide soldiers split around the constructs, slipping past their slow movements, striking at the weaker sections behind them.
“Now,”
The girl spoke lightly.
“NOW!!”
The General screamed, the left flank moved as they were told and struck the exposed side of the Ironclad formation.
The shield wall broke, enough to create a small opening for the Ashen Tide to take advantage of.
Confusion spread through the Ironclad ranks.
“They’re losing formation!”
Someone shouted.
The girl’s eyes continued to watch the battlefield steadily.
“Don’t chase. Hold pressure.”
She commanded.
“DON’T CHASE! HOLD PRESSURE!”
The General commanded.
The men surged and then they stabilized, not overextending their movements and avoiding all traps.
The soldiers could sense it as well, their General’s commands had just saved their lives, and this filled them with an odd sense of trust.
Trust they did not have before.
And with this new sense of trust, even the rogue Ashen Tide began to listen, they moved exactly where they were commanded to, following their General’s words to the letter without him having to threaten them.
An experience which even the General found new and… oddly refreshing.
It was… fun.
It felt… powerful.
And while he felt all these odd emotions, his eyes fell on the little girl watching everything beside him, without a change in her expression, as if everything that was happening was exactly as it was supposed to happen.
’Just… what is this girl…?’
He wondered in his head, but he knew there was no answer to this question, at least he didn’t have it.
…
High above the battlefield—
Two figures hovered in the air, watching everything play out in silence. No being below could sense their presence, none of them were capable of it.
They were… far, far stronger than any being present on the battlefield, so much so that with a flick of their finger, they could flatten out the entire place and it wouldn’t make a difference to them.
Not that they were planning on doing anything like that.
First, it was against the Universe’s rules, no foreign being, unless part of the war itself, could attack a world or its residents.
Second, they just didn’t want to. They hadn’t come here to attack a side, they were here to watch over that little girl, making sure she didn’t get hurt amongst all this chaos.
As for who these two beings were…?
They were the Origins.
Dagahra Origin.
Saphira Origin.
The Dragon Progenitors of Yrniel, Vyriana’s masters and… somewhat grandparents to all of Nux’s children.
And that group included the little girl below.
Ignira Leander.
She was the daughter of Ember Leander, a tactical genius with fire power that overpowered all other dragon children in the family.
And while Zyrax, Vyriana’s son, was stronger than her in a one-on-one battle, if it came to overall value as a soldier, Ignira was more than a few levels above. Her understanding of the battlefield and tactics was far stronger than most children, only children like Orion and Veyron were somewhat close but when it came to pure understanding of war, even they fell behind her.
That was Ignira Leander, who had dedicated herself to training and war ever since she was born.
Both Dagahra and Saphira adored her and her dedication, this was the reason they were quite close to her and often brought her to war-ridden worlds in order to give her real life experience.
Right now was no different, they were the ones who had brought the girl here and the girl came readily.
She may not show it, but she enjoyed these battles and taking command over the army more than she showed.
“She didn’t even hesitate.”
Dagahra grinned with a proud look on his face.
“She saw the trap before it was set.”
Saphira nodded, she seemed proud too.
Of course, the trap was quite obvious and easy to find, but this was war. Logic doesn’t apply here, not when the enemy is rushing forward with their weapons pointed at you.
Being able to calm herself through all that chaos and notice a trap was difficult and Ignira pulled it off fabulously.
It made the two Dragon Progenitors proud and made them look forward to the battle.
Below—
“Right side—shift inward. Cut their support lines.”
Ignira continued to give her orders, the Ashen Tide’s General shouted her orders and the people moved.
The Ashen Tide adjusted again.
The Ironclad Dominion faltered.
Their structure had begun to break.
“W-What is happening!?”
“What’s wrong with these bastards!?”
“Why are they moving so… readily!?”
“Their General! It’s their General! Kill him!! Charge at him!!”
“How the fuck am I supposed to do that!? We are surrounded, the only way out is being blocked by our own constructs!”
Panic spread all over the Dominion’s troops, Ignira used that moment to give more commands, attacking right where it hurt the most.
“She’s controlling everything,”
Saphira chuckled.
“Of course she is.
She understands everything now!”
Dagahra laughed, now he looked even more proud.
“She’s still learning.”
Saphira glanced at him. Dagahra, however, just snorted.
“She’s already better than most commanders I know.”
It was big praise, but Saphira agreed with him at some level, Ignira was exceptional. She was actually running out of things she could teach her.
But then, Saphira’s gaze shifted slightly.
“He called earlier.”
She spoke in a light tone.
“I know.”
Dagahra waved his hand.
“He wants us back.”
Saphira spoke nonetheless.
“Bah!”
Dagahra, however, just scoffed.
“Let him call.”
“Ember also sent word.”
Saphira sighed lightly.
“We’ll go when this is over.”
Dagahra shrugged.
“This isn’t important.”
Dagahra looked down at the battlefield and…
“It is for her.”
Below—
“Ignira continued.
“Center—collapse inward.”
“CENTER—COLLAPSE INWARD!!”
The General copied the girl’s orders, the Ashen Tide’s soldiers surged.
The Ironclad Dominion tried to reform, but it was already too late, their formation was broken.
And the Ashen Tide could feel it.
Victory was close.
That was when Ignira stepped forward, her golden eyes moved rapidly as they scanned the entire battlefield again.
She knew that victory was close, but she also knew these were the exact moments when things went wrong, she had learned it the hard way, so she wasn’t going to let her guard down.
Not right now.
Not when she was so close.
So the little girl continued to expand her senses and then—
She froze as she sensed something.
Then, a big grin appeared on her face.
Above her, Saphira looked at Dagahra and chuckled.
“She felt him.”
“…Of course she did.”
Dagahra snorted. He didn’t like this one bit. However, Ignira below had already abandoned the battlefield.
“Hey! Where are you goin—”
The General tried to call her but she just shrugged and—
“It’s a won war, what more do you need?
Take care of it yourself!”
The little girl answered, this was the most she had spoken ever since she appeared. It was almost as if her entire personality had changed.
The General had no idea why this happened, but he couldn’t think too much, not when the war still wasn’t over.
“…There she goes.”
Dagahra above sighed.
What General leaves her army like that?
“She’s still a child.”
Saphira smiled faintly.
Far ahead—
Space shifted.
And a being walked out.
Long black hair, gentle, calm golden eyes, a ridiculously handsome face that had a light, playful smile.
And the instant he appeared, Ignira’s eyes brightened even further and—
“Father!”
She exclaimed excitedly and jumped towards him carelessly, an action she would otherwise never do.
And Nux—
His smile widened as he shifted further and caught his daughter.
“Did you have fun?”
He asked as he gently kissed her forehead and Ignira—
“I did!!”
She nodded with a big smile on her face.
