- Chapter 787 - 333: Authority of Death (Part 2)

With incredible speed, it flew from the distant mountains to above the city walls in just a few breaths, and headed straight into the city.
With concentration, it was clear to see that the Bone Dragons had all reached the threshold of the Extraordinary, all at Level 19!
The 20-meter wingspan, though not as exaggerated as the Dragon of Death, was still imposing enough!
On top of the leading Bone Dragon, the 4-meter tall Flesh Butcher stood towering and majestic.
This headless Divine Life wielded a war axe formed from flesh, and its aura alone suppressed the 27 Bone Dragons behind it completely.
It was as if invisible chains were tied to the souls of the Bone Dragons, enabling arbitrary command.
It was a sight that left people shaken at heart.
When the Bone Dragons came within a kilometer range, the Flesh Butcher took a step forward, appearing directly in front of Lear.
This fierce creature immediately knelt on one knee, greeting with the most humble posture.
“Greetings to you, great Sovereign…”
The deep voice echoed in the air.
One could feel an icy killing intent like a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
Lear looked at this fierce Hero who had fought alongside him since his weak beginnings, a wide grin on his lips.
The aura of this Hero had grown more than tenfold since last time!
Upon opening the Attribute Panel, it was immediately revealed that the Flesh Butcher’s level had soared to 23!
Just one step away from the Demigod Level 24!
Impressive.
Truly worthy of being his subordinate, very well indeed.
Before the emotions could settle, the Bone Dragons had already drawn near again.
Glancing back, this Undead Plane really was nurturing.
These soldiers, placed on the Main Plane, would be considered first-class elites.
In thinking through this, two other figures among the Bone Dragon horde were immediately locked onto.
Most striking was the Two-headed Ogre Chieftain with six mechanical limbs resembling octopus appendages extending from its back, bearing two fierce and brutal heads.
Upon seeing him, this Warrior took a step out, bang~ stomping onto the Bone Dragon beneath, crunch~ causing the bone far tougher than steel to crack in large chunks.
The powerful recoil catapulted him like a cannonball, directly to Lear’s front.
Then he hovered in the air and stopped.
With excitement and exhilaration, he knelt on one knee…
Meanwhile, Betina, who had just entered the Undead Plane not long ago, dismounted from one of the Bone Dragons and came forward, placing a hand on her chest in salute.
“Your Majesty…”
“Sovereign…”
Lear looked at these two generals, chuckling softly.
Looking first at the Two-headed Ogre Chieftain, he was immediately surprised to discover… the Aura on its body had already reached the Extraordinary!
However, the aura was unstable, clearly having just made the breakthrough not long ago.
Opening the Attribute Panel, indeed, the level had increased to 20!
“Aite, your growth exceeded my expectations… very well.”
In this manner, the Extraordinary Power on hand had increased by one more.
Watching him floating in the air, Lear smiled.
“Congratulations, your dream has come true.”
The Two-headed Ogre Chieftain too wore an excited smile.
“Sovereign, I did not disappoint your expectations!”
From the start as a member of Weilu City, this Hero had made significant contributions in numerous large-scale wars.
Finally, Lear had the Ancient Goblin God promote him, granting him mechanical limbs, greatly enhancing his combat power.
However, unfortunately, ground warriors always had defects, suffering significant losses to flying soldiers in external wars.
Thus, within his heart lingered the obsession to gain flight capability, now it seemed, he finally acquired it after reaching the Extraordinary.
Lear chuckled.
“I’ve got an important mission for you all…”
“I need you to capture a Molten Giant Dragon and bring it back to Weilu City to be used as a blacksmith shop’s furnace for forging weapons.”
“The power of this Giant Dragon is conservatively estimated to be beyond the Extraordinary.”
The Two-headed Ogre Chieftain’s eyes brightened upon hearing this.
He immediately straightened his back.
“Sovereign… please give your order!”
Having just ascended to the Extraordinary, he was eager to test his strength and prove himself before the Sovereign.
Lear nodded.
“No need to rush.”
“Radina, Aite, Betina, the three of you… put aside what you’re working on now and come with me to capture the Molten Giant Dragon.”
Tulos, the Vampire, was still spreading his faith in the Corona Tribe, and this task was more crucial.
With these three Extraordinary, plus being able to summon the Demigod Lord of Blood Flies from the Divine Kingdom to deal with a Giant Dragon should be more than enough.
The most powerful combatant, the Flesh Butcher, might be able to flip that Molten Giant Dragon even in a one-on-one battle.
The only issue was, he needed to capture it alive, so working together would obviously be more effective.
Without hesitation, he planned to leave with the three Extraordinary.
The Dragon of Death also wanted to follow, but Lear ignored it, telling it to continue improving its strength, waiting until reaching the Extraordinary before considering other matters.
His requirement now had already shifted to the Extraordinary… ordinary heroes didn’t quite catch his eye anymore.
Heroes were not like armies; while lower-level armies could be amassed in the tens of thousands, a hero couldn’t be amassed in such numbers. Since they couldn’t, one had to enhance the individual combat power…
Just as Lear turned back to the hall, preparing to leave the City of Death, the black sun in the sky suddenly moved.
A dense mist spread out, covering all around, instantly devouring the deathly aura of the City of Death.
Then the black sun slowly floated down, landing before Lear.
Its size quickly shrank, transforming into a familiar cloak draping over his back upon reaching his side.
Simultaneously, Lear immediately sensed a unique Death Energy bestowed upon him.
