Synthetic Wizard - Chapter 407 - 242: Plane Community

Dragon Forest, above the forest canopy.
Rose hovered several hundred meters in the air, overlooking the dense treetops below.
As far as the eye could see, lush greenery extended endlessly towards the horizon, magnificent and spectacular.
Watching this scene, Rose felt a sense of inner peace, the stifling feeling from years of seclusion vanished.
“Roar!”
At that moment, an earth-shattering roar suddenly erupted.
Within the roar was a faint, captivating pressure.
Rose immediately recognized it as a dragon’s roar, her expression shifted slightly.
“I’ve heard the Demon Tyrant Dragon group in Area 2 has started evolving, and several Demon Tyrant Dragons have evolved into Giant Dragons. This must be one of them.”
Curious, Rose moved towards the source of the sound and saw a ferocious-looking Giant Dragon pacing through the forest, its massive head scanning side to side as if searching for prey.
The Giant Dragon’s body was enormous, estimated to be over fifty meters tall, covered in a layer of copper-red scales that gleamed with a cold metallic luster under the sunlight.
One could still vaguely see the former appearance of a Demon Tyrant Dragon, only it looked more fearsome and terrifying. Even wrapped in scales, the limbs and torso revealed smooth muscle lines, exuding a sense of explosive power.
At this moment, a stream of light suddenly darted over from afar, stopping beside Rose.
The glow faded, revealing the figure of a staff.
“I was wondering if you would emerge from seclusion when Xingyun called for the wizards, and here you are,” the staff said with a chuckle.
Rose scrutinized him for a few moments and said in surprise, “You’ve had a breakthrough?”
The staff’s smile deepened as he nodded, “Not too long ago.”
“Congratulations,” Rose said, inwardly feeling a twinge of envy.
Apart from Lord Sunan, the staff was the second wizard in the Star Alliance to breakthrough to Level 1 Liquefaction.
The staff laughed, “The concentration of energy particles on the Starlight Continent has been continuously increasing, so everyone’s spiritual refinement level is rising much faster. I think it won’t be long before you reach the liquefaction stage too.”
Rose smiled faintly, “Well, thank you for the kind words then.”
The staff looked at the Giant Dragon below, “That’s the newly evolved Giant Dragon, isn’t it?”
Rose nodded, “It’s evolved from the Demon Tyrant Dragon group, now called the Flame Tyrant Dragon.”
“Flame Tyrant Dragon?” the staff remarked, noticing the sparks flashing between the Giant Dragon’s teeth, “Awakening the ability to control fire after evolving—quite fitting.”
The Flame Tyrant Dragon now noticed Rose and the staff above. It let out a low, irritable growl, its cold vertical pupils sweeping over the two before turning to leave.
Watching this, the staff clicked his tongue in wonder.
“I heard earlier that Lord Sunan developed a method to control Giant Dragons. I was skeptical, but now it seems true.”
Any other Giant Dragon would never tolerate anyone pointing and discussing above their head due to their pride. Yet, this dragon restrained itself, clearly tamed.
A flash of awe crossed Rose’s eyes as well.
Taming a Giant Dragon was once unimaginable, something only Lord Sunan could accomplish.
In the distance came a series of roars, accompanied by an overwhelming pressure that halted one’s breath.
Rose looked out and saw a large shadow flicker through the forest, only to quickly vanish.
“That’s Lord Sunan’s magical pet,” the staff immediately identified the shadow, a tone of admiration in his voice, “I heard Sherman and Cole sparred with it recently. Despite joining forces, they were defeated.”
It was the first time Rose had heard of this, and she said with amazement, “That powerful? Its true combat strength must be close to Level 1 Crystallization then?”
Sherman and Cole were talented and favored by Sunan, with more resources than other wizards, allowing their strength to rapidly improve until they were almost on par with her.
The two of them together could not be defeated by an ordinary Level 1 Liquefaction wizard.
“Indeed,” the staff sighed, “Lord Sunan’s magical pet is much stronger than these Giant Dragons.”
Rose quietly sighed, suddenly thinking about contracting a sub-dragon species as a magical pet and then nurturing it into a Giant Dragon.
After chatting for a while, realizing the time, the two headed towards the Starlight Wizard Tower.
Upon entering the council chamber of the Wizard Tower, over twenty people had already gathered.
The staff scanned the room and noticed that apart from Lord Sunan, all twenty-six wizards of the Star Alliance were present.
Seeing the arrival of the staff and Rose, everyone exchanged some pleasantries.
During casual conversation, someone brought up the topic of the itinerant wizard.
“That itinerant wizard is quite unlucky, accidentally transported to the Starlight Continent and now trapped here.”
“To encounter such a low-probability event, his luck wasn’t great.”
“What’s that person doing now?”
“Exploring all over the Starlight Continent; last I heard, they’re at the Rainbow Sea now.”
“I saw him once. He was all covered up tightly; I wonder what’s going on?”
“That’s because he’s been assimilated by the Shadow’s erosion, drastically changing his appearance, so he covers up to avoid scaring people.”
The last sentence was said by Fakado.
Hearing this, Rose asked in surprise, “How do you know?”
“I spoke with him once,” Fakado replied with a smile, “He was chased in the Shadow Realm by Night Shadow Giant Insects and never got the chance to escape, so he stayed there too long and got eroded by the Shadow, but he should recover in a while.”
The group came to an understanding.
As they talked, the door suddenly opened, and a puppet girl entered, holding a book.
