Chapter 453: The Fear That Trembles (3)
Ash was still floating in the skies above the plaza as the ripples continued to spread. Currently, he was not standing in the same manner as before but instead sitting with a Guqin.
Like he mentioned, he was planning to unravel fear itself… He wanted the entire plane of existence to feel a state of absolute fearlessness.
By now he had not only unraveled uncertainty but also Pain, Loss, Conflict, Division, and the Desire for Power itself.
All these things were tied to the primal essence of fear… if any of them didn’t exist, what would these beings even have to be afraid of?
Even the desire for power stirred fear—fear of weakness or the uncertainty of whether you’d ever grow strong enough.
All of it combined to drench the Venus Plane in a devastating state.
Almost like doomsday had come for all of them.
Immediately, people clutched their chests, gasping as if they were suffocating, as if existence itself was rejecting them.
Without pain, wounds themselves began to feel wrong and distant.
Without loss, the grief these beings held onto for endless cycles, it turned into hollow emptiness.
Without conflict, arguments dissolved into meaningless silence.
Without division, each and every clan here fractured into confused unity. And…. without the desire for power, ambition curdled into apathy.
The entire plane descended into chaos — not the chaotic kind Khaos loved, but a quiet, suffocating horror where nothing felt right anymore.
This was nothing more than a deep conceptual torture that gripped these beings far deeper than any cut.
Through it all, Ash was still casually sat down in the skies above the plaza, completely unbothered by the screams and collapsing figures around him.
“Since, you still plan to watch…” As muttered with a smile seemingly to nobody…
He summoned a Guqin, “Why not add some more entertainment?” He said as he began to play.
As his words ended, his fingers danced across the strings, creating a haunting, beautiful symphony that wove through the air like smoke.
As he played, he sang — voice low, melodic, and carrying an almost gentle cruelty.
“Fear, oh fear, you sneaky little rat, hiding in the dark, but I see where you’re at….”
The more he sang… the more he played, the more fear unraveled.
To him the music was beautiful… but for the inhabitants of Venus it was nothing more than the descent of Hell.
Beings all around dropped to their knees, clawing at their own skin as the concepts that had defined their existence were stripped away layer by layer.
—
Above the false sky, Fear continued to watch for hours, trying to understand exactly what he was witnessing.
His budding influence over the Venus Plane dwindled more and more with every note Ash played.
The constant, nourishing hum of uncertainty that fed his power grew fainter, then fractured…. then completely vanished in patches.
“Is he some champion?” He questioned as he continued watching, from his knowledge only beings with sponsors from True Reality could ever hope to do something like this.
However, even then…
“Impossible,” He said, “We may not know the true depth of one another’s power… but no one should be able to disrupt the progress of influence, not even us.”
He said as he frowned…. not just that hearing the song of Ash began to grind his gears — that playful, trollish melody mocking the very essence of what he was.
After a while, he could take no more.
Fear disappeared from above the false sky and appeared directly in front of Ash, who was still floating and playing the Guqin with casual ease.
Snap!
With a snap of his fingers all Fear within the dimension was completely restored as if nothing ever disrupted it in the first place.
Immediately, the screams across the plane slowly died down as beings gasped for air, collapsing in exhaustion and confusion, as their concepts flooded back into them like a dam breaking.
Seeing this Ash rose a brow, “Not bad,” He muttered as his Guqin vanished and he stood up.
He actually was a bit surprised to see he was able to override his Oculus powers so easily, but that’s all it was… just a bit.
’Even though I only layered it by 300 Layers, that’s pretty impressive’ He mused internally.
Fear hovered before Ash, his form a shifting mass of nightmares and shadows, countless eyes blazing with fury.
He looked at Ash, who was smiling at him with that same calm, unafraid expression.
“Who are you?” Fear demanded, his rasping voice echoing across the domain.
“Me? Well, I’m Ash Originat, Daddy of the Ineffable Pantheon…” He said as he chuckled with an extended hand,
“Nice to finally meet you, Fear.” As he finished, he scanned him.

In that moment, Fear shifted into a humanoid form — tall and slender, skin covered in countless blinking eyes that moved independently, each one reflecting a different nightmare.
Hearing the name “Ash Originat,” he immediately knew.
This was the newest Champion.
Instead of excitement, a cold, calculating smile spread across his many-eyed face.
“Perfect,” he said softly.
In that moment, Fear tapped his foot on thin air, and the world around them warped and folded. In an instant, they were both dragged into Fear’s personal realm of pure terror.
Now they stood in a long, endless hallway.
The walls, floor, and ceiling seemed alive with shifting darkness, a growing presence of Fear itself.
Shadows whispered softly across every surface, revealing brief, haunting visions of the deepest terrors — someone losing all they held dear, a warrior confronting an impossible foe, a ruler watching their empire turn to dust.
Here, Fear ruled supreme.
The hallway stretched infinitely in both directions, and the air itself felt heavy, pressing against the mind, ready to drag anyone inside into their personal nightmares.
Fear laughed — a low, rasping sound that echoed endlessly down the corridor.
“Show me, Champion,” he said, countless eyes narrowing with dark amusement. “Show me just why you’re the newest Champion.”
Ash stood casually in the middle of the nightmare hallway, hands still in his pockets, the same calm smile on his face.
He looked around at the shifting walls, then back at Fear.
“Dude,” He said as he cracked his neck, “I’m about to fuck you up~”
