Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP - Chapter 455: I Am What Fear.... Fears

Chapter 455: I Am What Fear…. Fears
BOOOOOM!!!!!
When Ash punched out it wasn’t exactly at Fear, but at the very walls of the realm itself.
BOOM!
CRACKKK!!!!!
When the first punch landed the wall of the Personal Realm of Pure Fear cracked like glass under the force of the blow.
A visible fracture line spider-webbed outward from the point of impact, and Fear’s countless eyes widened in sudden pain as a portion of his own conceptual domain was torn away.
Seeing this… Ash didn’t stop, not that he planned too anyways.
Not until his objective was achieved.
Without wasting any motion at all… He punched again.
BOOM!
Instantly, another section of the hallway shattered.
“AHHHHGH!!!!!!!!”
The living darkness that made up the walls screamed — it was a sound like a thousand nightmares being forcibly silenced.
Fear, hiding within the walls itself, he staggered as a deep, jagged wound opening across his shifting humanoid form as the realm itself bled conceptual essence.
The eyes on his skin flickered and dimmed, some closing permanently as the fear they represented was ripped out and absorbed into Ash’s own power.
Fear gasped, his voice a rasping choke.
“What… what are you—?!”
By now, Fear was past confusion—past even trying to unravel the mystery of the figure before him.
As…. something else was stirring instead, but despite it all, Ash paid him no mind as his third punch came even faster.
BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!
The entire hallway convulsed erratically.
Large chunks of the realm shattered with every blow, and the nightmares crowding the halls crumbled under the force, dissolving into black particles that streamed into Ash.
With each punch… he also claimed pieces of influence.
And it was something Fear felt, deep in his existence each time as his grip weaken — the steady, sustaining fear he once thrived on now being consumed and transformed.
But it wasn’t just that…
From the start, Ash didn’t just want to beat the guy. He wanted to truly fuck him up—though not physically.
He planned to shatter his mind, his very sense of self, until he’d never dare call himself Fear again.
Each punch not only usurped the influence from him, but each time an unbearable wave of absolute fearlessness flooded into him, creating a horrifying emptiness where fear used to be.
It felt like suffocating in open air, like standing naked in a world that no longer had shadows to hide in.
Fear’s form flickered violently, eyes blinking erratically as panic — real, raw panic — gripped him for the first time in his existence.
“What? Stop!!!—you can’t—!”
Ignoring him and the destruction happening, Ash punched out for the fourth and final time.
KKAAAABOOOOOOM!!!!
In that moment, the hall…. The Personal Realm of Pure Fear could no longer hold.
CRACKKKKK!!!!
The walls shattered completely, with the infinite hallway collapsing in on itself with a deafening crack that sounded like reality breaking.
Fear was violently spat out of his own domain, tumbling through the tear and crashing back into the Venus Plane below.
The false purple sky above the plane cracked and splintered as the realm’s remnants rained down like broken glass.
BOOOM!!!!
Fear landed hard on the cracked ground of the Venus Plane, skidding several meters and leaving a trench in the obsidian-like rock.
His many-eyed form was visibly damaged — deep gashes leaking shadows, several eyes closed and cracked, his presence noticeably weaker.
He pushed himself up, breathing ragged, staring at the tear in the sky where Ash slowly descended, still smiling, hands back in his pockets.
Ash landed lightly a short distance away, looking at the wounded Champion with calm golden eyes.
And he slowly began to walk towards Fear.
With each step he took, the Venus Plane itself was pushed deeper into fearlessness.
The whole plane sank into a strange new horror—a heavy, suffocating void where fear had once lived.
Everyone ran, no matter how strong, ancient, or proud they thought they were.
People screamed, tearing at their own skin as if reality itself wanted them gone. And… the very idea of fear, the power that once fueled the Tenth Champion, was being stripped away with every step.
Seeing him approach, Fear staggered back, his many-eyed form flickering wildly. In that moment, he couldn’t even think straight—let alone summon his talents—or muster the will to fight back.
And the man who caused it all, Ash he only kept walking ignoring the chaos with his smile never fading, until he stood directly in front of the Champion.
To Fear, that smile looked like the Devil himself, but it didn’t truly matter what he saw in this moment.
As Ash reached out, grabbed Fear by the hair, and teleported.
—-
They reappeared directly in front of Ellyn and Drake, who had been watching the entire thing from a projection.
Ash held Fear up by the hair like a trophy, the Champion’s form still leaking shadows and flickering eyes.
He looked at his two children, then focused directly on Drake.
As he looked into his deep blues eyes he spoke.
“As I said, I care not for your philosophy… not for your goal.” He said, “Son, everyone has one of their own ambitions… their own driving force.”
He paused, his eyes closing for a moment.
However…. when they opened again, his physical eyeballs were gone.
In their place was pure, endless light — everything and nothing beginning and ending within the glowing sockets.
It was the true gaze of the Oculus Unus, the origin before all origins.
Ash continued, his voice now carrying the quiet authority of someone who had long since transcended existence itself.
“That was never the issue…. As you see, I have my own ambition, my own philosophy.” He said,
“One that drives me to never be bound by any chain… never be under another… and to damn sure never be in a position for someone to take anything I’ve worked for.”
His smile widened as he continued to look at Drake.
“My son, you live life as you wish.”
“I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again.” He said while still holding the champion by the hair.
“Power is whatever you make it, not what others think it to be. But never… never in your long existence mistake that your father is scared of anything.”
Ellyn and Drake stood in heavy silence, as the weight of his words and the overwhelming presence of his gaze pressed down on them.
Ash then turned his attention back to Fear and with his smile… that never once left his face he spoke, but this time with his decree.
“With this one death, you will lose four of your five lives… and the fifth is only for you to live in fear for all of eternity… to spread the name of Ash Originat, to let all the other Champions know that their countdown has just commenced.”
SNAP!
With a snap of his fingers and using One Sight….
KKKKRAAAABOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
The entire Venus Plane exploded before the eyes of Fear and his children.
It all happened in an instant… one moment the sky was still falling like shards of glass, the beings were all running as if the devil himself had descended….
In the next instant, the entire plane dissolved into pure white nothingness — a vast, empty canvas once again.
“Wha— AHHHHH!!!”
Fear’s form convulsed violently, his myriad eyes snapping shut one after another as four of his five lives were ripped away in a heartbeat.
His final, ragged scream lingered in the void before he was flung out of the plane, left with a single life — doomed to exist in perpetual terror, carrying Ash’s name like a curse, a warning whispered to every Champion who dared to listen.
Ash let go of the vacant space where Fear had stood and turned to face his children.
“So… is there truly anything I should fear?”
