Chapter 457: We are Ineffable, We are the Originats (2)
The Game between the champions spanning the eighteen organisms hadn’t just restarted in this moment.
No, the heirs of the Ineffable Pantheon hadn’t wrapped up their journeys right at the eight-millennia mark. Instead, over half the year had drifted past—a blink of an eye for beings like them.
But it was also just enough time for everything to finally settle in.
From the moment Ash stepped out of Pantheos, he was under watch.
As he defeated the champion, obliterated the High Dimension of the Venus Plane, and everything else that unfolded in such a short span, eyes followed his every move.
Now, seeing him in person and hearing his voice, they couldn’t help but be taken aback.
Everyone in the chamber looked between Ash and his line of sight — which rested on both Luna and Ancestor Seeker.
Seeing this, the eighteen leaders shifted uneasily in their seats. It was clear that Ash’s gaze was fixed on Luna, now celebrated as the top Alchemist and famously at odds with the Lord of Alchemy himself.
Ancestor Seeker was one of the three most incomprehensible beings in all of reality. In that moment, everyone subconsciously dismissed the Seeker, turning their attention to Luna.
Not only was she now hailed as the number one Alchemist, but whispers had also begun to spread—rumors that she was romantically involved with a young man who was meant to be her disciple.
One of the Sect Leaders finally broke the silence; voice laced with disbelief.
“This… this is preposterous.” He said, “He can’t be the rumored disciple, right?”
Another Clan Patriarch leaned forward, with narrowed eyes.
“Do you really think that’s so important now?” He then looked towards Ash and frowned much like a few other beings.
None of them had moved a muscle, even knowing he was truly there and having watched his casual stroll into the chambers.
What they felt from him was heavy—just like always, none could gauge his rank.
Yet, they could sense his existence, and in that moment, it felt nothing like it should.
In fact, it carried the same weight as their own.
’Is this what she meant by calling him… different?’ Matriarch Minx thought as she watched Ash in silence.
Despite the murmurs and speaking, Luna simply smiled — soft, genuine, and completely unbothered.
She looked at Ash, her yellow eyes warm.
“I missed you too, daddy~.”
SILENCE!
The entire spherical chamber fell into complete, deafening silence.
The 18 leaders stared, mouths slightly agape, the weight of that single word hanging in the air like a bomb that had just gone off.
Ash only chuckled, low and warm, ignoring the stunned faces around him as he kept his focus locked on Ancestor Seeker.
She arched a brow at the little show playing out in front of her, a faint spark of amusement in her warm brown eyes.
Ash leaned forward slightly in his newly created throne, voice casual but carrying absolute weight.
“So… what side are you on?”
He tilted his head, golden eyes steady.
“Mine… or not mine?”
Before Ancestor Seeker could respond, the Dean with the collapsing-star eyes frowned deeply and spoke up, voice tight with frustration.
“Ancestor Seeker, how long will you allow your champion to be so unruly? Him not being within the Game is making the reset pointless….”
“The entire balance will shift again because of this… disruption.”
The other leaders murmured in agreement, some nodding, others shooting uneasy glances at Ash and Luna.
Ancestor Seeker remained silent, her expression one of quiet interest as she watched to see how far Ash would go.
Ash’s smile widened into something almost manic — bright, dangerous, and utterly unbothered.
“What game?”
He looked to Drake, voice dropping just enough for the room to hear.
“Pay attention, son.”
Ash tapped the armrest of his throne once.
In that moment, all hell broke loose on the eighteen projection screens.
The feeds that had been showing calm, controlled segments of the reset existence suddenly erupted into chaos.
—–
Within the High Dimension of Organism Nine, three beautiful women stepped from out of the shadows.
Raven, with her long white hair and the hollow white circle glowing faintly on her head, moved like silence itself.
Katherine, with her long blonde hair and bloody crimson eyes, radiated possessive hunger.
Summer, with her long black hair and sharp, isolating gaze, carried the quiet finality of separation.
They appeared directly outside the domain of the 16th Champion — The Eternal Gambler — a Sixteenth Dimensional Existence being whose power was Probability itself.
It went without saying, each of these women knew exactly what he could do.
That he could force any event to have a 100% chance of the outcome he desired, no matter how impossible.
Yet…. they also knew that didn’t mean nothing at all before them.
The moment they arrived, Elysia appeared at their side, her voice calm and precise, focused on her single role in the operation: making sure every task was executed flawlessly.
“You three attack together… Raven — go for the kill. Katherine — lock down his movements. Summer — cut him off from the power system and probability itself. Don’t give him a chance to speak.”
With that, they didn’t hesitate.
They blitzed him.
HUMMMMM!!!!!!!
HUMMMMM!!!!
HUMMMM!!!!!!
Summer moved first with a simple thought she activated a innate power.
Eternal Apart (Above Origin)
In that moment, a sphere of perfect isolation formed around the Gambler, severing his connection to the power system, to probability, and to the very fabric of the plane he stood on.
Katherine followed instantly, her innate power activated and, in that moment, chains shot out.
Blood Bonds (Above Origin)
The chains wrapped around the Gambler’s limbs and throat, restricting every movement and binding his blood itself to her will, preventing him from activating any decree or talent.
Hollow Consumption (Above Origin)
Raven, since she was going for the kill, naturally went last. Her powers were a bit more complex than the others.
She was the Goddess of Emptiness and also the Unus of Eclipsing. In that moment, a pure white sphere of divinity formed before her palm, while her other arm rested calmly behind her back.
WHOOOOOSH!
This power held both Emptiness and Eclipsing and with a thought it shot from her palm like a bullet.
Feeling his powers simply vanish, the Gambler had only a fraction of a second to react.
His eyes widened in shock as his probability manipulation failed to trigger.
He opened his mouth, managing only one word…
“Wha—”
BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
As the white sphere hit its mark, the Gambler’s domain and body were both completely drained, leaving them in a withered state.
Everything simply left as an empty shell that fueled into Raven.
The grand domain — once a glittering casino of probability where chance itself bent to his will — collapsed inward like a dying star.
Slot machines of fate, roulette wheels of destiny, and card tables of manipulated outcomes all crumbled into gray, lifeless husks.
And the very concept of “probability” in this realm was sucked dry, funneled straight into Raven’s power.
The Gambler’s body withered in the same instant — his form shrinking, skin cracking like old parchment, eyes dulling as the probability that sustained him was devoured.
He didn’t even have time for a final scream. He simply became an empty, desiccated shell that crumbled into dust and flowed into Raven’s open palm.
Raven took it all in with a contented sigh, her white hair drifting as the fresh power settled within her.
Elysia stepped forward, shifting into her complete form, and reached out to gather the remnants of Probability’s Influence from the empty air.
“Now,” she said casually, slipping the collected influence away.
“It’s time for me to go… I’ll see you three in Phase Two.”
The three women stood together for a brief moment in the now lifeless domain, watching as Elysia vanished.
They exchanged a quick glance before disappearing themselves.
And with that… the show went on!
