Chapter 510: The Road to Destiny (2)
[A/N: Just to clarify, from here on out, all battles will take place at the peak of Reality Layers, between layers 800 and 999—at least until Ash brings something new into the mix…] 🙂

Kagami appeared in the midst of hundreds of armored warriors.
They were floating high above the white milky road, suspended in the void like a legion of sentinels. Their armor gleamed with dark, polished metal etched in glowing runes, weapons drawn — swords, spears, axes, and staves crackling with concentrated mana.
The moment he materialized, the warriors moved without hesitation.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
From every angle they charged — arcs of blazing sword light, spiraling spears of condensed mana, and waves of destructive energy hurtling toward him.
Some activated their Talents mid-strike, layering their attacks with additional conceptual weight — one unleashed a storm of devouring shadows, another summoned chains of binding fate, while others fired concentrated beams of pure annihilation.
Yet, despite witnessing all of this, Kagami remained unmoved.
One thing that must never be misunderstood about him was that he had become ineffable in every sense of existence.
This extended even to his perspective on certain matters, for when had members of the Ineffable ever fought by conventional standards of fairness?
It was always fair in its own way, though the outcome seldom appeared so.
He stood motionless in the air, hands resting at his sides, as the relentless onslaught closed in on him from every direction.
BOOOOOOM!!!!
Every attack landed perfectly.
But the moment they made contact, his Decree activated with a single thought.
|Stellar Decree — Domain of Endless Mirrors|
HUMMMMMM!!!!!
The air around him shimmered violently.
Then, hundreds of flawless mirrors materialized in an instant, forming a perfect spherical domain that reflected every strike with absolute precision.
The sword arcs, spear thrusts, shadow storms, and annihilation beams all struck the mirrors and were reflected back at 100% of their original power.
Then Kagami amplified them by another 100%.
SHKKK!!!!!
BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
The reflected attacks doubled in intensity and shot outward like a storm of reversed death.
Warriors who had just launched their strongest techniques were struck by their own power, magnified.
A spear that had been aimed at Kagami’s heart now tore through three of its owner’s comrades.
A devouring shadow wave swallowed its caster and half a squadron behind him.
Beams of annihilation punched clean holes through ranks of armored figures, exploding on impact and sending bodies tumbling through the void.
And through it all, Kagami remained completely still and untouched in the center of the chaos, as the Domain of Endless Mirrors shimmering around him like a sphere of liquid silver.
His expression was calm, almost bored, as the mirrored surface continued to reflect and amplify every desperate follow-up attack.
More warriors fell in droves — some sliced in half by their own blades, others crushed by their own Talents, a few erased entirely by their own conceptual powers now turned against them.
The once-coordinated legion was thrown into disarray, their numbers thinning rapidly as the reflected storm continued to rage.
Kagami finally spoke, his voice carrying clearly through the chaos.
“I never planned to waste time with you all.”
With a casual wave of his hand, he summoned a simple, yet elegant chair made of polished mirror. He sat down comfortably, crossing one leg over the other as he turned his attention toward Kaguya.
“I’ll just watch from here,” he said with a small, proud smile. “Go ahead, granddaughter. Show them what you’ve become.”
Kaguya, surrounded by hundreds of charging warriors, moved with effortless grace.
She was a blur of silver and white, her twelve tails swaying behind her as she mirrored every attack — dodging sword arcs by stepping through their reflections, slipping between spear thrusts as if the air itself bent for her.
Each movement was precise, almost lazy, as if the battlefield was a dance she had long since mastered.
After a moment, she smiled — a sharp, dangerous smile.
She spoke a single phrase in True Reality script, her voice soft but carrying an undeniable weight.
“Reflect.”
With a single word… the entire void rippled.
HUMMMM!!!!
Her true form — the massive, flawless mirror with twelve ethereal tails — faintly manifested behind her for a brief second, its surface gleaming like the light from millions of stars.
In that instant, thousands of perfect reflections of the warriors appeared all around them.
Each reflection was an exact copy — but with double the strength of the original.
WHOOOSH!
BOOOM!!!!!!
SHKKK!!!!!!
The mirrored warriors lunged forward with overwhelming force, their attacks amplified and merciless.
The original fighters were suddenly assaulted by their own doubled selves — sword strikes met with twice the power, shadow techniques countered by even darker versions, annihilation beams reflected back with devastating intensity.
CRACK!
As they collided, the void itself began to shatter.
Massive cracks spread through the emptiness like shards of breaking glass, the pale, milky path beneath them splintering as the unchecked chaos surged.
Screams rang through the void as the warriors were ripped apart by their own mirrored selves.
Kagami sat calmly in his chair, watching with quiet pride as his granddaughter dismantled the entire force with elegant brutality.
But then his calmness shifted.
“Again?” He questioned as his eyes narrowed, body tensing as he felt the Narrative changing once more — a faint, invisible hand trying to rewrite the outcome.
HUMMM!
Kaguya rose above the clash, her twelve tails flaring as she gathered power for a final, devastating skill. The air around her distorted, the void itself trembling as she prepared to end the battle in one strike.
In that moment, Kagami saw something appear before him.
Faint golden words glimmered into being before his eyes, as if someone were jotting notes in an unseen book.
“Kagami vanishes in a heartbeat…. He will appear to protect Kaguya from the looming catastrophe.”
Before he could react, a greater force — something far beyond his control — seized him.
His body moved against his will, vanishing from his seat in a blur and reappearing directly in front of Kaguya.
Kagami’s eyes widened, but he didn’t fight the compulsion. Instead, he acted instantly, channeling ten million divinity in a single, explosive surge.
[-10,000,000 DP]
HUMMMMM!!!!!!
In that moment, a colossal fox of pure divinity burst into existence before him—a majestic guardian with a thousand tails, woven from radiant white and gold energy.
Its fur glimmered, each tail sparking with immense power, and its eyes blazed with the same white light as Kagami’s.
ROARRRR!!!!!
The fox let out a roar that rattled the void, planting itself firmly between Kagami and Kaguya.
In that same heartbeat, an attack burst through the crack — a sharp, blinding arrow of pure conceptual negation, fired by some unseen force from deep within the Narrative.
It tore forward, its sole purpose to erase Kaguya from existence.
The thousand-tailed fox charged straight into its path.
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
