Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP - Chapter 512: My Road or None

Chapter 512: My Road or None
“I’m fine, Grandfather.”
Kaguya’s voice was steady, but her mirrored eyes held a clear look of confliction as she stared at him.
Though he had told her he was no longer a mere cultivator, she still couldn’t fully comprehend how he was that strong.
By technical terms, Kagami was one-dimensional existence level below her — and below the enemy they had just faced.
Yet the usual Layers of Reality had meant nothing.
And the biggest thing that unsettled her was that she couldn’t read him at all — as if he was somehow a higher dimensional level than her or operating on an entirely different scale.
She finally asked, her voice soft but direct.
“How… how were you able to do that?”
Kagami chuckled lightly, a warm, knowing sound as he looked at his granddaughter.
“That’s the beauty of being a Constellation or a God.” He said, “My Granddaughter, the power we have at our disposal… it’s truly endless. The difference in ranks can’t be judged the same way outside of our verse. What matters isn’t just the number — it’s what you become.”
Kaguya was quiet for a moment, processing his words as they continued walking along the white milky road.
As the void around them began to heal.
The cracks in the emptiness slowly sealed, the road smoothing out as if the Narrative itself was trying to correct its course.
Faint golden words shimmered into existence in the air before them—this time clear to both Kagami and Kaguya.
“The road to the Primal Expanse… has grown shorter, with only a thousand steps left to go. However, from this moment onward… it may be traveled only by those belonging to the Ineffable Pantheon.”
Kagami’s gaze tightened, his eyes narrowing as he absorbed the message.
Finally, one last line materialized, this one meant for Kaguya alone.
“Daddy will see you soon.”
Kaguya’s mirrored eyes widened, a mix of surprise and irritation crossing her face as she stared at the words.
She looked at her grandfather, her voice carrying a hint of frustration.
“Just what are these words?” She asked before adding another. “And who is behind this…”
Internally, she was growing more irritated by the second. It felt like she was a child again — constantly asking “what is this” and “what is that,” always one step behind in understanding the larger picture. She hated that feeling.
Kagami smiled wryly, a knowing glint in his eyes as he thought to himself.
’Well, it’s confirmed now. This is definitely Ash’s doing…’
Before, he’d suspected something beyond his control was tipping the scales in their favor, but only now was he certain.
He gave a small shake of his head, his voice calm and steady.
“Ash… the bastard as you call him—this is his work.”
Kaguya started to speak, but Kagami simply resumed walking along the now-shortened, milky-white road.

Back in the Prime expanse, that boundless stretch of white where fate was spun into being, Destiny frowned.
She lounged at the heart of her domain, fingers frozen mid-weave as her gaze locked on the shimmering golden tapestry before her.
The last thread of Kaguya’s fate — the one she’d deliberately twisted to end in certain death — had vanished without a trace.
There was no fray at the edges, no tug of resistance…. nor had it unraveled.
It was just… gone.
Her golden eyes narrowed in confusion and growing irritation.
“How…?” she whispered to herself. “That path was absolute. She should have died. How could she even survive?”
The threads around her continued to shift and reform, but the absence of Kaguya’s fate left a noticeable gap — an empty space where a life should have ended.
Destiny remained silent for a long moment, then let out a soft, frustrated sigh.
She stood up with effortless grace, the golden tapestry fading into shimmering motes of light around her.
“I suppose it’s time I had a word with someone,” she muttered, a touch of irritation in her tone.
“That troublesome woman has been far too quiet for too long now…”
And with that, she vanished without a trace.

BOOOOM!!!!!
BOOOOM!!!!!
Ash reclined in a simple wooden chair he had casually manifested moments earlier, legs stretched out comfortably as he flipped through the pages of the Codex.
Elysia, Creara, and Unara floated around him, occasionally feeding him pieces of pineapple and grapes from a small bowl.
As mentioned earlier, the Lost Reality of Dreams, along with the others, was constantly under siege by entities born of nonexistence.
In the distance, the Dream waged a relentless battle against billions of Nightmares spilling endlessly from the cracks in her world.
Yet, despite the overwhelming odds, she fought with an ease and grace that made it seem almost effortless.
She moved with effortless grace, her mere thoughts bending the battlefield to her will.
BOOOOM!!!!!!
Mountains surged upward to crush the oncoming invaders, yawning chasms split the earth to swallow them whole, and waves of endless amounts of Divinity swept across the field, erasing entire legions in the blink of an eye.
From afar, Ash observed the spectacle with a mild curiosity, casually accepting another slice of pineapple from Creara as if the chaos before them were nothing more than an evening’s entertainment.
“That Destiny is truly something,” he murmured, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “The way she interacts with the Narrative isn’t bad at all.”
Elysia drifted closer, casually popping a grape into her mouth.
“Yeah, but it doesn’t really matter,” she said with a knowing smile. “At this point, they’re just dancing to our tune.”
Creara returned the smile, offering Ash another bite of pineapple.
“Exactly. We’ll let them keep revealing the details while we sit back and enjoy ourselves.”
On his other side, Unara giggled, teasing him with a grape just out of reach before finally letting him take it.
“I wonder how long before they figure out those Thirty-Six warriors have no road left to cross.”
Ash chuckled under his breath, his purplish-red eyes still locked on the distant battle, watching as the Dream dismantled the endless horde of Nightmares with ease.
“Exactly… it’s my road or no road at all,” he said, having already pieced together more than enough to know what lay ahead.
The Realities… and the warriors the Mother wanted to cultivate… he thought about how they’d need to cross into the Prime Expanse.
But he had no intention of letting things play out that way.
