The sight of nine naked bodies hanging upside down on a cross was a scene one could not properly describe.
All the bodies hanging from the cross were not only male bodies, there were female bodies hanging from the cross and their breasts and vagina were out in the open for all demons to see.
Some began to have wild thoughts seeing this.
Although they were naked, their faces were still covered with their masks, ensuring that none saw their faces.
However, in the Shadowgrave Clan, one’s mask was their face, and these nine would live with this shame for as long as they were in the clan.
’What in the world is going on? Five boys and four girls. Why are they like this?’
Instructor Valdin had a deep frown on his face as he looked at the nine Initiates on the reversed crosses.
At first, he believed that they were dead and that the academy was going to perform a thorough investigation and grant severe punishments to the perpetrators, when he sent his perception to the nine Initiates, he realized that they were not dead.
They were only unconscious.
That relieved him since this would be an extremely serious case if they were dead, and in such a manner again.
’They are all second years. Is a faction battle going on which I don’t know about?’
Just as Instructor Valdin had this thought, he looked at the top of the cross, and he saw a plaque.
There were words written on it, and he squinted his eyes slightly.
He read the words on the plaque, and the moment he did, his eyes could not help but widen slightly in disbelief and surprise.
’They are all members of the Stone Crushers, Vipers Nest, and Black Thorns.’
His eyes suddenly moved, then it landed on Simon.
Others might not know, but he knew about the death of three members of the Iron Fangs, and he also knew that the three gangs were the ones that killed those three Initiates.
He knows how each gang took one member each and tortured them to their heart’s content before killing them and sending them back to the Iron Fangs.
Because he knew all of these, he was fairly certain that the person responsible for this scene was Simon.
This was a gang fight, and Simon or the Iron Fangs had taken revenge for the death of their people.
And this made Instructor Valdin to have mixed feelings since he knew that what Simon had just done was to not only attack and embarrass the three gangs, he was also attacking the factions that backed the three gangs.
’Things might get out of hand soon.’
His frown deepened, then he looked in a particular direction where he sensed a familiar presence.
’What pot of troubles does this kid like stirring up. Hopefully, the Headmaster maintains control over the factions.’
In another location that was not too far away from Simon and the remaining first years, Akaza and the Iron Fangs stood and stared at the nine naked bodies with wide eyes.
They were filled with shock, disbelief, satisfaction, and also awe as they stared at the nine bodies.
Everybody could see and read the words on the plaque, so they knew the identities of the nine Initiates and their affiliations.
As Akaza stared at the nine figures, he recalled Simon’s words.
’I’ll repay them threefold for what they’ve done.’
Three of their members were killed, but nine suffered the consequences.
They were not killed, and neither were they brutally injured or missing a limb.
Aside from their broken leg, arms, and fingers, they were okay. These injuries could be healed.
However, the sheer embarrassment and humiliation Simon did was something these nine would most likely never recover from.
No matter how shameless one was, hanging upside down while completely naked was extremely humiliating.
He could not help but look at Simon with a complicated light.
He has never liked Simon, and a part of him knew that Simon did not care one bit about the Iron Fangs.
He also knew how much the Iron Fangs hated and disliked Simon.
How it felt so embarrassing to them when they were called the slaves of a slave.
He also hated it.
He probably hated it more than anyone, but the boldness Simon had just shown was something he did not expect.
He had taken revenge for them, and every member of the Iron Fangs felt satisfaction seeing this.
But the smart ones amongst them could predict how things would become uglier than before.
From now on, the factions might have to take action against Simon… personally.
This was no longer a petty gang war.
Things were about to get a lot more serious for Simon and the Iron Fangs.
’He did this alone, and since they’re not dead, the three gangs and factions would know that he did this alone.’
’In a way, he’s going to take majority or the full brunt of their retaliation. He knows this, but he still decided to do this alone.’
He frowned slightly as he looked at Simon with a perplexed expression.
Akaza had no idea what was going to happen next, but after this boldness of Simon, he was more open to helping him survive.
’Besides, I need the damn antidote from him.’
As for Simon, he ignored all the stares that were directed at him.
The stares from Instructor Valdin, his classmates, Akaza, and the Iron Fangs.
He even ignored the killing intent that was directed at him from a few places.
He ignored them all.
He just indifferently stared at the nine naked bodies.
’I wonder what they’re reaction is going to be now… Hopefully, they don’t do something unexpected like killing more members of the Iron Fangs.’
’If that happens, then the laws of the academy are not as strong as I believe them to be.’
Simon closed his eyes and released a soft sigh as the number of demons that were drawn to the nine naked bodies increased with every passing second.
