The First Legendary Beast Master - Chapter 1771 Gather The Fluffy Minions

“My loyal fluffy minions, gather around! Today, Sister Cara is going to spread the blessings of the Karl!”
Ophelia groaned in anticipated mental agony as the bunnies giggled, before coming to stand before Cara. The Werebear didn’t quite understand why they had no aversion to the Chaos Badger, but she suspected that it was either the fluffy ears or the fact that Cara only touched people when she was robbing them.
And the bunnies didn’t have anything to take, so they always got cupcakes.
“You’re going to teach us all the helpful skills?” One of the bunnies asked.
“Yep! Karl is busy, and I can use the skill, so I will help everyone get what they want. The first thing to do is to write the skill that you want, so I don’t start handing out ones that aren’t right.”
“Before we know the options?”
“Exactly. If you could have anything, what would you want? And then I will give you what I can and improvise the rest.”
Those were dangerous words coming from Cara, Ophelia knew.
The bunnies quickly made a spreadsheet with a bunch of options on it, a much more organized method than Cara’s initial thought of just having them all write down an answer individually.
That was not how the species usually operated. They liked doing everything as a group. If there were other bunnies around, everything was better, and they could share the workload of whatever they were asked to do. Shared work meant fast work, which meant everyone was happier.
The list was handed to Cara, and the badger smiled. This was going to be so much easier than expected.
Fully two thirds of the answers were either “Cooking” or “Teleporting to things”. There were some other answers, like “Helping make stuff” and “Art”, but none of them seemed too difficult for her to manage.
“Alright, we will do the big groups first. Since Lotus is here and wiggling excitedly, let’s do the cooking team now.”
Wiggling excitedly was apparently code for “trying to escape from Ophelia so she could hug the bunnies”, they decided. But Lotus wasn’t making much headway, as the Werebear had picked her up, and the Priestess’ feet couldn’t reach the ground.
The bunnies who wanted to get cooking skills gathered at the front, and Cara made a grand gesture as she activated [Follow Me, Little One].
{The benevolent Badger Cara offers knowledge} Skill [Mystic Cooking] will be transferred to many bunnies.
The recipients cheered as the new skill settled in, and then they all froze as the System’s Class Selection menu activated. That was exactly what the badger had been hoping for, and what Ophelia had been afraid would happen.
Now that the bunnies had a Class, what would become of them?
And what sort of system would you get if your only skill was cooking? Were there dedicated chef type classes? Because she could see the bunnies being happy to get one.
After most of a minute, the first bunnies began to come back to their senses, and Cara found herself pulled into a surprisingly powerful hug, then spun in circles.
“Thank you so much, Sister! We’ve got a class. A real Class! This is going to be so wonderful. We will be the best bunnies ever.”
Cara laughed as she checked the bunny’s pockets, then inserted a carefully wrapped cupcake.
“You’re already the best bunnies ever. I don’t think that you need to worry about proving yourselves. Now, what class did you get?”
“Mystic Chef!”
So, there was a class for it.
One of the other bunnies frowned. “You got to pick Chef? I didn’t get a chef option. I got a whole bunch of options to choose from, but they were all the common ones that humans get.”
Cara inspected the bunny, and saw that she was now a Cleric class. “Well, the Bunny Goddess needs Priestesses. So, someone had to do it. How many of you are now Clerics of the Bunny Goddess?” Cara asked.
21:52
About a third of the hands went up.
“And how many are a variation of Chefs?” Almost all of the others.
“I got Gardener. I guess that’s almost like Chef, but with more getting the best ingredients? I still have the Mystic Cooking skill,” one of the few other bunnies offered.
“That’s valuable too. We always need gardeners. Look at all the crops growing here, and most of them are edible if they’re not alchemy reagents.”
“Can I change my vote?” One of the waiting bunnies asked.
“I don’t actually know what will trigger the gardener class. We can try with the [Plant Growth] skill, but it might leave you with weird class options, and an excellent ability in the garden.”
The bunny considered that, then nodded. “I will take my chances, if growing food with magic is an option.”
Cara gave her a cheeky thumbs up as she prepared her next activation, and Ophelia smiled as the bunnies rearranged themselves. There were more who wanted to be gardeners, but hadn’t known it was an option.
Honestly, Cara would likely let them be nearly anything that they asked.
Just for the entertainment value.
“Alright, second big group, come forward. You all wanted to be able to instantly fetch things by teleporting to them, right? I know just the skill for that.”
Ophelia frowned. This was not going to end well.
{Benevolent Badger Cara offers knowledge} Skill [Shadow Step] will be transferred to many bunnies.
The bunnies cheered as they found that they had a skill to fetch things. Then, they also went into the class selection menu.
“While we wait for them, who wanted to be a gardener? We can do that now.”
A bunch of hands went up, and Cara activated [Follow Me, Little One] again.
{Benevolent Badger Cara offers knowledge} Skill [Advanced Plant Growth] will be transferred to many bunnies.
Lotus stopped her struggling and laughed. The green dragon she was bonded to was laughing hysterically as Cara activated that skill, so she knew that something amazing was about to happen.
She just didn’t know what.
