’I don’t shine. I don’t produce any light or reflect any light. I am also above the struggles of the world. My destiny is to bring an end to everything in the world and devour even the strongest and the brightest that the world can offer.’
After saying this, he chuckled and said, ’This is narcissistic, isn’t it? But I like it.’
This is what he truly sees himself as. The appearance of his Mental World is his underlying ego and the manifestation of his ambition and desire.
He wants to rise above and be able to devour to his heart’s content. He also wants to be the strongest of the strongest.

His questions come with a sincere motive to learn and be enlightened. He wants someone to correct his ignorance and point him in the direction of someone more qualified than him to be conceited, so that he can eat that person and take their qualifications for himself.
Unfortunately for him, no one answered his question. So he can only go about hunting while hoping to stumble onto someone more qualified to be proud.
The good news is that Fenrir has grown stronger just as he has grown stronger. Or it could be that he can use more of Fenrir’s power now that he is stronger. So his ambition doesn’t seem impossible to achieve at all.
This made him say, ’My path is one that will be forged by eating. I shall eat my way to the top, and if there is a god above me, I shall eat that god too.’

He was motivated to take action to achieve his lofty ambition, so his eyes opened in the real world, and he stood up.
The first thing he did after experiencing his breakthrough was to check his token. This was because the sect had sent a message to him.
The message said, “Congratulations on reaching a monumental stage in the path of cultivation. To celebrate your success, the Four Directions Sect is elevating you to the level of Steward of the Sect. Your rights and privileges have been updated.”
“You have unlocked the Personnel Setup Privilege.”
“You have unlocked the Mission Setup Privilege.”
“You have unlocked the Awakening Arrangement Privilege.”
“You have unlocked the Sect Expansion Privilege.”
“You have unlocked the City Building Privilege.”
Aside from these five, there were more notifications about the privileges that he had unlocked. But he focused on these five because he found them most interesting.
Of the three, the Awakening Arrangement Privilege is what he considered to be the most important because it gives him the right to arrange for an awakening room to be set up.
With this right, he can start an initiation program somewhere else. Then he can petition the sect to build a sect ground around the initiation program through the Sect Expansion Privilege.
Once the sect grounds have been built, he can use the City Building Privilege to establish a city around the sect grounds. This city will be recognized by the sect, so no one in the sect is allowed to attack and destroy the city.
Apparently, anyone can build a city, and the sect won’t stop them from doing so. But only cities built with these privileges will be recognized by the sect. Anyone in the sect who destroys the city will have to pay a fine for doing so.
However, the sect won’t do anything to protect the city. The sect also won’t fine other sects or people and animals who don’t belong to the sect for destroying the sect.
This made Loki curl his lips and say, “So it is just like the Life Insurance. It is only valuable within the sect, and the sect won’t actually try to protect me.”
“At least, the city will be registered as my property and will remain so even if I die and reincarnate. That has to count as something.”
This is another benefit of building a city with the City Building Privilege. When he thought about it, he remembered Crystal City, which made him say, “Does that mean that the person who built Crystal City is still alive? Or maybe they’ve already become divine beings. Either way, rank 5 or rank 6, it will explain why the city lord is rarely seen.”
