Timeless Assassin - Chapter 1111 Cult Master Leo

Chapter 1111 Cult Master Leo
(Planet Satoru, The Next Day, Leo’s POV)
Leo arrived on Planet Satoru aboard a ceremonial carrier marked with the insignia of the Cult of Ascension, deliberately choosing this method of arrival over a direct dimensional entry, as he understood that he was stepping onto this world not as a mere warrior, but as the Cult Master under whose name it had been conquered.
This was a planet taken in HIS name, and was now firmly under his influence, so while he could have torn open space and appeared at its center without warning, asserting dominance in a way only a Demi God could, he chose restraint instead, as he understood that raw power alone was no longer what his soldiers needed from him.
His soldiers needed him to be a mythical figure, a symbol, and a leader worthy of the victories they achieved in his name…..
Which was why, for the first time since ascending to his new role, Leo consciously adjusted the way he carried himself, as he dressed in formal battle attire, composed his expression into something calm and distant, and prepared to present himself not as a warrior, but as the Cult Master.
*FWOOSH*
As the carrier descended steadily through the atmosphere and touched down upon the prepared landing platform, thousands of soldiers already assembled in formation turned their attention toward it, their gazes fixed upon the sealed doors with a quiet anticipation that spread across the entire field.
*Hisss*
When the doors opened, a subtle shift passed through the ranks, as every soldier straightened instinctively, their posture tightening while their eyes locked onto the figure that emerged from within.
Leo stepped forward slowly, his expression composed as he took in
the sight before him, while at the same time maintaining a deliberate restraint in his movements, as he ensured that every step he took carried weight and presence.
He did not rush or shorten the moment, instead choosing to extend it deliberately as he understood that this walk was not for him, but for the soldiers watching, as he allowed them the time to take in the sight of the man they had just delivered a world to.
A red carpet stretched ahead from the base of the ramp toward the central stage, its surface spotless as though the soldiers had gone to great lengths to ensure that everything appeared perfect upon his arrival.
*Step* *Step*
Leo descended with measured precision, his pace intentionally slow as his gaze swept across the gathered army, acknowledging individuals with subtle nods while ensuring that his presence remained steady and unwavering throughout.
To the soldiers, this was not a simple descent.
It was the moment they had been waiting for, where their effort, their blood, and their victory were recognized by the one they fought for, as many among them felt a deep sense of fulfillment just watching him step onto the ground they had conquered.
Leo understood that.
He felt it in the way their eyes followed him, in the way their posture sharpened with each passing second, and in the quiet intensity that filled the space as he moved forward.
And so, he leaned into it.
Not out of vanity, but out of purpose.
Because if they needed him to be larger than life, then he resolved to become exactly that.
At the end of the carpet, General Sparrow stood waiting, a large smile
on his face, as the two clasped hands firmly, their exchange brief yet meaningful as they stood side by side before the watching army. “What’s morale like?” Leo asked quietly, his voice low enough to remain between them.
“It’s strong,” Veyr replied without hesitation, leaning slightly closer as he spoke. “The crowd’s riled up. They’re waiting on you now, Cuz.”
Leo gave a small nod at that, his hand patting Veyr’s shoulder once before he turned and stepped toward the podium placed at the center of the stage.
The moment he faced the army, the atmosphere shifted again, as anticipation built across the gathered forces while countless eyes locked onto him, waiting for the words that would define this victory.
“Well done, my brave Cult warriors… you have truly exceeded my wildest expectations from you…” Leo began, his voice carrying across the field with controlled authority as it reached every corner of the assembly.
“Your very first campaign, as General Sparrow reports, was executed flawlessly, and the results speak for themselves,” he continued, as the statement alone ignited a powerful reaction from the soldiers below.
The cheers rose instantly, loud and unrestrained as pride surged through their ranks, their voices echoing across the landscape while the weight of their achievement finally settled in.
Leo allowed it.
He let them celebrate.
He let the sound rise and peak before gradually raising his hand, as silence followed almost immediately, the discipline of the army asserting itself without hesitation.
“That victory is yours, and you should be proud of it,” he said, his tone steady as his gaze moved across the crowd.
“But understand this clearly, this is only the beginning, and one planet
does not define a campaign, just as one victory does not secure a war,” he continued, as the earlier excitement gave way to focus once more. “In the months ahead, we will take more, and many of you standing here today will be the ones leading those battles, which is why you cannot afford to grow complacent,” he added, his voice firm as the message settled deeply within them.
“This victory is a strong start, and I commend each of you for it, however the campaign itself is far from over, and the expectations from you will only grow from here onwards,” he said, as the tone shifted toward something more demanding.
“Keep this momentum, keep pushing forward, and keep winning under the command of General Sparrow and the officers who have led you this far,” he continued, as a faint sense of direction anchored
his words.
“For now, celebrate, because you have earned that right, however once the celebrations end, return to your duties and prepare this planet for what comes next,” he added, his gaze sharpening slightly. “This world is not just a keepsake, it is our forward base, and soon
more ships will arrive, more forces will land, and this planet will become the center of our operations moving forward,” he finished, as
he stepped back slightly.
The soldiers erupted once more, their voices louder than before, filled with renewed purpose as they absorbed both the praise and the expectation placed upon them.
Leo allowed the moment to settle before stepping forward again, his expression shifting as his attention moved beyond the army standing before him.
“The next part of my message is not for you,” he said, his voice
lowering slightly as the tone changed.
“It is for the citizens of this planet, and for anyone across the universe
who may be watching this broadcast,” he continued, as the
atmosphere grew heavier.
“The Cult is back, whether you want it or not.
And we are back with a vengeance…. This time to conquer the
universe for good.”
Leo declared, his gaze unwavering.
“In the following months, there’s a high chance that we will arrive at
your home planet next. And when we do, you will be given a choice-
Submit and live under our rule, or resist and be removed.”
He continued, his tone calm yet absolute.
“There will be no third choice.
There will be no tolerating rebellion.
I don’t possess the same patience that Cult Master Soron did.
I’m not as kind or forgiving as him.
I’m a stone cold killer, and my men reflect my mentality.
If you’re easy to deal with and cooperative.
We will not exploit you.
However, if you give us a hard time….
I promise you, we will root you out like the weeds that you are!”
Leo threatened, as he grit his teeth and clutched his fists to show that
he was serious, before walking away from the podium rather
dramatically.
For a moment, there was absolute silence.
Then…. Eventually, the claps began, as the soldiers digested his words
and regained their composure after his threat.
