Wasteland: I Awakened A Plant System - Chapter 110: Visiting The Town

Chapter 110: Visiting The Town
After the food was prepared, they sat together at the small dining table and ate the simple fried rice in comfortable silence at first, then with light conversation. Once the plates were empty, Isha stood up and gave him a soft smile.
“Go to the bedroom and sleep now. You need rest. Tomorrow will be much harder.”
Vikram nodded, but as he stood, a wave of confusion hit him. He didn’t know which room was his. In fact, he didn’t even fully recognize this house as his own. The system had thrown him into this world with almost no background information, and nothing felt familiar yet.
He hesitated near the hallway, eyes scanning the quiet home uncertainly.
Isha, who had been clearing the table, noticed his slowed steps and the slight pause in his movement. She misunderstood the reason immediately.
Her expression softened with concern. She thought the brutal battle had left him more shaken than he was letting on.
“You can stay with me tonight,” she said gently, her voice warm and reassuring.
Vikram looked at her for a moment. He wanted to explain that he simply didn’t know which room belonged to him, that everything still felt new and disorienting. But the words didn’t come. Instead, seeing the genuine care in her eyes, he simply nodded.
“…Okay.”
They entered the bedroom together. The atmosphere inside was quiet and warm. A single soft lamp cast a gentle golden glow across the room. The bed was large enough for two, covered with a simple but comfortable blanket. There was a faint, familiar scent in the air, something that reminded Vikram of safety, even if the memories weren’t fully his.
—
Isha moved first, sitting gracefully on the edge of the bed and patting the space beside her.
“Come. Lie down.”
Vikram obeyed, a strange mix of awkwardness and comfort washing over him as he settled onto the mattress. Isha gently pulled the blanket over both of them and lay down next to him, just like she probably had when he was much younger, protective, warm, and close.
Vikram was about to close his eyes when he felt a sudden, gentle push. Before he could react, Isha had shifted closer and wrapped her arms around him in a tight, comforting hug. Her body pressed softly against his.
He felt weird, embarrassed, yet strangely safe. He didn’t pull away.
Then he became aware of the soft, full curve of her breasts pressing against his chest. His body reacted instantly. His rod began to harden, growing stiff and obvious beneath his clothes.
Isha, still holding him close, noticed immediately. She had slept like this with him many times before, but this was the first time she felt his erection pressing firmly against the middle of her thighs, right between her legs.
A faint blush crept across her cheeks. For a moment she stayed still, processing the sensation. Then she lifted her head slightly and looked directly into his eyes, her voice soft, low, and surprisingly calm.
“Do you want to do it?”
She didn’t need to say the full sentence. The simple words were enough.
Hearing them from his aunt’s mouth sent a powerful jolt through Vikram. His rod throbbed harder, now fully erect and straining, almost painfully so like a tight drum.
Vikram didn’t know what to reply. His mind was a storm of shock, desire, and confusion. But unconsciously, almost against his will, he gave a small, hesitant nod.
Seeing the clear desire in his eyes, Isha’s blush deepened, spreading across her face and down her neck. She didn’t speak further. Instead, she slowly began undressing him, her fingers gentle but steady as she pulled off his shirt, then helped slide down his pants.
As she did so, a quiet thought passed through her mind.
’Years ago, back in our hometown, this would have been wrong…’
But this was the apocalypse now. Rules had changed. Survival and bloodlines mattered more than old taboos.
She had seen it happen in many survivor camps and safe zones. In this broken world, people preferred to mate within the family to keep their blood pure and strong. She knew of countless siblings who had become husband and wife, and even step-relations that had turned into intimate partnerships. No one judged anymore. It was simply how things were.
Because of that understanding, Isha felt no real guilt. Only a quiet acceptance… and a growing warmth.
She finished undressing him, then began removing her own clothes with calm, unhurried movements. Her body was revealed in the soft lamplight, strong from years of fighting, yet still beautifully feminine.
Once they were both bare under the blanket, Isha pulled Vikram closer again, her voice a gentle whisper against his ear.
“It’s okay, Vikram… We’re family. In this world, this is how we stay strong.”
She guided his hand to her waist, then leaned in, pressing her lips softly against his forehead first, then slowly moving lower.
—
Once they were both completely nude under the blanket, Vikram leaned in and kissed her. Isha responded gently, her hands resting on his back.
With her quiet guidance, he positioned himself and slowly entered her, breaking her virginity in one careful thrust. Isha gasped sharply, a few tears slipping from the corners of her eyes.
The pain was sharp and unexpected, for a brief moment. She thought fighting the Wall Breaker Zombie had been far less painful than this.
But she didn’t stop him. She held him close, breathing through the discomfort until the pain gradually melted into warmth and pleasure.
Even though both of them were exhausted from the long, brutal battle against the zombies and the Wall Breaker, Isha let Vikram enjoy her completely. All night, four times, he took her with a mix of awkward tenderness and growing confidence. She stayed with him through every moment, whispering soft words of encouragement whenever he needed them.
Much later, as the first hints of dawn approached and exhaustion finally claimed them, Isha noticed the small streak of red blood still on his spear and staining the sheets, clear proof that her virginity had been taken tonight.
It didn’t matter to her.
The only thing that truly mattered was the love she felt for her nephew, Vikram. In this broken apocalyptic world, this was their way of staying close… of staying strong.
She pulled him tighter against her chest, kissed the top of his head, and finally let sleep take her.
—
After finishing breakfast, Vikram stepped out of the house alone.
Word had already spread through Cameron. Everyone knew that the Captain’s nephew had awakened summoning powers. As Vikram walked through the streets, the reactions were immediate and mixed.
Some people looked at him with clear jealousy in their eyes. A few young men muttered under their breath, thinking, ’Even this stupid brat has awakened…’ Their gazes were sharp with envy, especially those who had struggled for months without gaining any ability.
But many others reacted very differently. The moment they saw him, their faces lit up with forced admiration and flattery.
“Vikram bro! You were amazing!” one merchant called out loudly.
“Captain’s nephew is truly talented. The future of Cameron is bright!” another woman praised, smiling too widely.
Several people stopped him on the street to offer compliments and subtle flattery, “With your summoning powers, our town is finally safe!”
“You’re going to become even stronger than your aunt one day!” Some even offered small gifts, fruits, fresh bread, or water packets, hoping to stay in his good books.
Vikram felt uncomfortable with the sudden attention but kept walking, nodding politely.
He first went to visit Bushra. The moment she saw him at her door, her face brightened and she welcomed him with open arms, pulling him into a warm hug.
“Vikram! I heard you were Awakened yesterday… I’m so proud of you,” she said happily.
Sana was also there, standing inside the room. She looked at him with the same soft, admiring gaze as Bushra, a mix of affection and something deeper. Both women treated him with extra warmth, asking about his Sprouts and how he was feeling.
After some chatting with them, he continued visiting the homes of the girls he had previously taken their virginity.
Every family’s reaction was different, yet all of them openly welcomed him like he was already their son-in-law.
This time, like previously, they didn’t stop him, when he sat beside their girls.
One family offered him tea and sweets the moment he entered, the father clapping him on the back and saying, “Our daughter talks about you all the time. You’re always welcome here, Vikram.”
Another mother greeted him kindly. “You must have had a long day yesterday. Come, sit and rest.”
The girls themselves blushed and stole glances at him, clearly happy to see him.
Some families were more reserved but still respectful, while others were openly cheerful, treating him with genuine warmth.
No one seemed bothered by how close he was to their daughters. In this dangerous world, having a strong awakener connected to the family gave them a sense of safety and hope.
He spent the entire day moving across the town, visiting everyone he knew. His Plant Sprouts stayed close to him, occasionally drawing curious and impressed looks from the townspeople.
By the time evening approached, the sky had started turning orange again. Vikram finally made his way toward the massive wall, his eight Plant Sprouts walking beside him.
Sunday’s ten waves were about to begin.
The Necrotic Fog would start rising again at 6:00 PM, and this time, the challenge would be far greater.
As he climbed the stone steps to the top of the wall, a determination appeared on his face.
Yesterday, he had only watched it. Today, he will fight it, and show his powers to others, so that they should stop treating him like a kid.
