Even Vikram glared at Anjali after hearing that.
“Did you forget how the last time you and Divya were chased by the Savage Wolf Shelter members? If I hadn’t arrived in time, you wouldn’t even be here right now. Now shut up and follow me,” he shouted at her.
Anjali’s face turned almost purple with anger, but in the end, she didn’t dare say anything more. There was nothing she could do; she could only endure it for the time being and pretend to be obedient.
Seeing her angry expression, Vikram suddenly slapped her ass.
“Ouch!” Anjali yelped and looked at him furiously.
“If you show me that angry face again, I will punish you,” Vikram said with a smile.
Hearing the threat, Anjali quickly forced her angry expression into a sweet smile.
Seeing this, Divya burst out laughing.
Sophia also stepped forward and said, “I need some training too.”
“You should train with the Guardian Druid and Warrior Druid,” Vikram replied. “I don’t think any Crimson Beasts will even be able to take a single punch from you.”
Her stats were truly terrifying. Except for Strength and Stamina, both her Reaction and Speed had already crossed 50.
“Okay,” Sophia nodded.
Meanwhile, as Vikram headed outside, he opened his Plant Essence points panel. Because he hadn’t used them for many days, they had accumulated to nearly 20,000 points.
Not only had his Plant Life System upgraded by one step, but the upgrade had also consumed 10,000 points.
In this new upgrade, he didn’t receive any new plant sprouts like before.
However, he had gained a brand-new function. His Plant Life System could now create items using materials, and it could also break down materials to give him Plant Essence in return.
It worked in the same way as the Wasteland System, which could create axes, swords, walls, floors, roofs, and others.
It seemed that with this new upgrade, the Plant System had taken one of the Wasteland System’s core abilities. Now, he no longer needed to rely on the Wasteland System for crafting.
He also understood why the system hadn’t rewarded him with any gift packs this time, the major new abilities were rewarded enough.
After reaching the parking area, Vikram gave a signal, and the Earth Mage Sprout brought the vehicle over. In the past few days, all his Druids and Sprouts had learned how to ride both his motorbike and the RV.
Vikram got on the bike first. Divya and Anjali climbed on behind him, while the Earth Mage Sprout sat in front.
The moment they left the territory and stepped into the outside world, both Divya and Anjali shivered violently. Even though they were wearing thick Cold Weather Jackets, the freezing temperature still pierced through. The -50 degree cold was merciless.
The ground had completely frozen solid, covered in a thick layer of snow and ice. If the motorbike hadn’t switched into Snowmobile Mode, it would have been almost impossible to ride properly. The tires had transformed into wide, tracked wheels that gripped the snowy surface with ease, allowing the bike to move smoothly over the treacherous terrain.
“Why are you taking us outside in this freezing weather?” Anjali complained in a low voice, careful not to let the “devil” Vikram hear her clearly. “It was so comfortable inside the shelter…”
In just a few days, Vikram had slapped her ass so many times that he had clearly started enjoying it. He kept finding excuses to do it. It was extremely embarrassing for Anjali, especially when he did it in front of Divya and Sophia — positioning her over his lap and spanking her bottom.
And this was the punishment he was talking to her before, and she didn’t like it. That’s why whenever now he mentioned punishment, she became quiet, and quickly followed his order.
While Vikram rode the bike, the bumpy downhill road made the journey even more uncomfortable. Despite the vehicle’s good suspension, the constant jolting caused Divya’s full breasts, like two ripe watermelons, to press and rub repeatedly against his back. He could clearly feel their soft, warm pressure with every bump, but he didn’t say anything about it for now.
Since his focus was on different things currently.
Accompanied by the roar of passing motorcycles, they finally arrived at their destination.
In the biodetection system, the location of the organism is shown as being right in front of you.
“Huh?”
Instead of rushing forward with the two, he stood there, stunned, trying to recall something.
Some time later, he remembered that the last time he went out to hunt scarlet creatures, it was also in this place. This was the same place where he had rescued Sophia.
Shaking his head, Vikram looked at the biodetector that only showed three red dots and assumed it was a coincidence.
The two followed him, one in front and one behind, while Earth Mage Sprout looked over all the hostile creatures.
Shaking his head, Vikram glanced at the Bio Detector, which showed only three red dots. He assumed it was just a coincidence.
Divya and Anjali followed closely behind him, one in front of the other, while the Earth Mage Sprout stayed alert, keeping watch for any hostile creatures.
They had thought this was one of Vikram’s usual hunting grounds, but they were surprised when they had only traveled a few meters before something appeared.
A Crimson Creature emerged right in front of the three of them.
It was a crocodile crawling slowly across the frozen ground. The blood-red glow in its eyes confirmed it was exactly the type of Crimson Creature Vikram had been searching for.
He knew there was a small river nearby, but he had never expected to see a crocodile in such a completely frozen environment.
The creature’s quality level was only blue. Vikram felt too lazy to even lift a finger against such a weak opponent.
’Since I brought both of them out for training, they should start some practice,’ he thought.
He reached into his bag, pulled out two alloy swords, and tossed one to each of the girls.
“You two try to handle this monster yourselves,” Vikram said casually. He then leaned back comfortably against the motorcycle, and began admiring the surrounding scenery.
He had been running around busily every day and hadn’t had a proper chance to appreciate the snow-covered, silvery landscape of the wasteland.
Now that he finally had a little free time, he wasn’t going to waste such a beautiful view.
Divya and Anjali stood there holding the alloy swords, simply staring at each other in disbelief.
Faced with this Crimson Creature that clearly required multiple people to defeat, the two girls didn’t have a good solution for the time being.
“Hey! Didn’t you bring me out here? What’s with you hiding on the sidelines and slacking off now?” Anjali complained, gripping the alloy sword tightly as she slowly retreated from the approaching crocodile.
“You think you can take care of a crocodile of this caliber with just an iron sword? If you want to kill us to silence us, just say so!”
Vikram didn’t even turn his head. “Didn’t I give you a compound bow before?”
While Anjali was still hesitating, Divya silently pulled out her compound bow. Before the crocodile could get any closer, she released an arrow.
At close range, Divya’s shooting experience showed. The arrow struck the massive crocodile’s back. However, the creature’s tough hide and enhanced physique meant only a small portion of the arrowhead actually penetrated.
This minor injury did nothing to slow it down. Instead, the blood energy radiating from its body grew even stronger.
In an instant, the enraged crocodile locked onto its prey and charged forward.
Perhaps due to some visual impairment caused by the Crimson energy, the crocodile, which had been hit by Divya, now targeted Anjali instead.
Faced with the rapidly approaching beast and having zero combat experience, Anjali was completely stunned by its ferocious appearance. Panicking, she hastily raised the compound bow she had just taken out. Before she could even fully draw the string, the arrow flew out weakly.
The shot was even weaker than Divya’s. Although it hit the crocodile, the arrow didn’t pierce the flesh at all, it was more like something casually thrown than properly shot. The arrow simply bounced off the creature’s tough back.
The failure caused the already terrified Anjali to drop her bow and run for her life.
She wasn’t stupid, though. Even in her panic, she knew to run straight toward Vikram.
Soon, the girl and the raging crocodile were both heading directly for the unarmed Vikram. Anjali didn’t fully know Vikram’s strength, but she had heard that he had single-handedly defeated many people, including the entire Savage Wolf Shelter. He couldn’t be too weak.
