Neither of them said anything after the old man disappeared.
It wasn’t that they were in a daze because of the disappearance of the old man.
It was because they were looking around and thinking about what they could do with this place.
They knew that after acquiring this place, they would be able to use it for the same purpose as the alchemy hall. But when it came to this training hall, there were certainly more defenses because of the training dummies here.
It seemed like this place would make a better and safer base.

The eyes of the puppet had started to glow blue, which made it clear that this was the thing that had spoken just now.

The puppet gave a nod, but it didn’t actually do anything. Instead, it turned around and walked off in the opposite direction.
Though judging by the way that it walked, it seemed like it was waiting for them to follow as well.
Which was why Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan followed behind it.
It didn’t take long for the puppet to bring them to a different room that Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan reacted very differently to. After all, one of them recognized what this room was for and the other had no idea what they were looking at.
It was a room that was filled with small black boxes that didn’t seem to contain anything.
The only thing of note was the layer of glass on the surface of these black boxes.
Those that were in the know would be able to tell what these things were used for with just a single glance. Which meant that Lin Fan knew just what these things were as soon as they arrived in this place, even without the puppet turning it on.
“They were able to get alloys from the other continents, so it would make sense if they were able to get technology as well…It’s just that this seems a bit too much…” That was all that Lin Fan could think when he saw these screens.
With a press of a button, all of the screens turned on and revealed that they were a security system for the training hall.
On a few of the screens was most of the action that was happening in this hall.
There were people being sent flying across those screens.
They were the disciples of the Five Great Sects that had been trying to break through the training dummies.
From what they could see, it seemed like there were a few that had actually made it past the first room and had reached a second room. Though when it came to the training dummies that they faced, they just couldn’t compare to the ones that Ye Qing Huan faced.
“Where will they end up if they pass these trials?”
Ye Qing Huan recovered quite quickly from her shock and asked the puppet this question.
The puppet didn’t say anything as it turned around to lead them to another place once more.
Once again, it didn’t take them long to arrive at this new location.
This was a room that was similar to the library that they had been in before, but it was also different as it was much smaller than the one that they were shown previously.
When Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan looked over the books on the shelves, they found that these books were also different from the ones that they had been shown previously.
These were still cultivation techniques, but they were weaker than the ones that were for the core disciples. These were clearly the cultivation techniques for the regular disciples that made their way to this place.
They were nowhere near as impressive as the cultivation techniques for the core disciples, but it wasn’t as if these things were completely worthless.
Ye Qing Huan looked around this room for a bit before asking, “I’m free to do what I want with this place, right?”
The puppet gave a nod in response to this before saying, “As well, you can control everything through the AI system.”
“AI?” Ye Qing Huan couldn’t stop the confused look from appearing on her face before saying, “What does love have to do with this?”
A strange expression appeared on Lin Fan’s face when he heard this since he knew that what the puppet meant wasn’t love…it was a term that existed in the language of the cultivation continent.
Which was why Ye Qing Huan didn’t understand what the puppet meant by this.
In fact, it was a bit funny for Lin Fan seeing the reaction that Ye Qing Huan had since it wasn’t anywhere near what the situation demanded.
It looked like she wasn’t even willing to accept what the puppet was saying.
“There’s no love between us.” That was what Ye Qing Huan said in the end.
For the first time, it looked like the puppet was confused by what Ye Qing Huan said.
From what Lin Fan had observed, he could tell that whatever AI was used to create this puppet was a high level one with how it had observed all the different reactions that Ye Qing Huan had and gave the best answer.
It was the kind of AI that would be considered dangerous if it was used the wrong way, especially if it were to develop its own self awareness. But in this case, it was very helpful since it made a very good assistant as long as it didn’t have any dangerous thoughts.
Lin Fan couldn’t help shaking his head seeing Ye Qing Huan acting like this, but there was a smile that was on his face at the same time.
After all, he could see the way that Ye Qing Huan was also peeking at him from time to time.
It was as if she was worried that he might misunderstand something.
In the end, it was a bit embarrassing watching all of this.
Which was why Lin Fan couldn’t help saying, “Can you please explain to us what you mean by AI?”
Ye Qing Huan looked at Lin Fan with a strange look, but at least the puppet seemed to understand what was wrong. Though if it wasn’t for Ye Qing Huan establishing him as the secondary master earlier, the puppet would have directly ignored Lin Fan.
After hearing the puppet’s explanation, Ye Qing Huan couldn’t help feeling a bit embarrassed by her earlier thoughts.
