Chapter 849: Chapter 380: Reina’s Successful Breakthrough
David stood amidst the ruins of the Ice Palace, his gaze heavy as he looked into the distance.
Although the shadow of the Ice Hell Lord had been defeated by him, the chill from hell had not dissipated.
The air still held an unsettling cold, as if something was quietly eroding this pure world.
“The power of Ice Hell… it’s indeed not so easy to eliminate,” David murmured softly, his brow furrowed.
He could feel the power of Ice Hell slowly but irresistibly seeping into every corner of the Ice World.
In the distance on the ice plains, the originally crystal clear ice crystals began to gradually become murky, black lines spreading like webs across the ice surface.
The creatures of the Ice World seemed to also sense the anomaly, letting out uneasy growls.
Some weaker ice elemental creatures even began to be corroded by the black aura, their bodies gradually twisting, their eyes flickering with a crimson glow.
“We must quickly find the source of Ice Hell, or this world will completely fall,” David resolved in his heart.
He took a deep breath, the chaos bloodline within him surged again, a silvery white light flowing over his body, dispelling some of the cold invading his body.
He stepped towards the depths of the Ice Palace, which was the core of the Ice World and the source of the Ice Hell’s power seepage.
As he ventured deeper, the temperature around him dropped further, the air thick with an oppressive aura.
Suddenly, David halted.
His eyes fell upon a section of ice wall ahead, where there was a huge fissure, with black ice crystals continuously seeping from it, like a passage to hell.
“Is this the entry to Ice Hell?” David murmured to himself, a hint of caution in his eyes.
He could feel that the chill from the fissure was more intense than before, as if numerous eyes were watching him from the darkness.
At that moment, a low roar suddenly emanated from the fissure, followed by a surging of black ice crystals, transforming into menacing ice crystal creatures rushing towards David.
“It really isn’t that simple.”
David snorted coldly, the chaos bloodline within him exploding instantly.
His body transformed once again into a dragon form, the silvery white dragon scales appearing particularly dazzling against the backdrop of the black aura.
“Chaos Frost Dragon Soul Judgment!”
David roared, his dragon claws swinging out, the power of chaos and ice intertwining in the air to form a massive frost storm, shredding the ice crystal creatures instantly.
However, the black aura from the fissure did not cease its surging, instead becoming even more violent.
David could feel the power of Ice Hell continuously pouring into the Ice World through this fissure.
“This fissure must be sealed!”
David thought to himself. He suddenly urged the chaos bloodline within him, releasing a searing chaos flame from his dragon mouth, directing it towards the fissure.
The flame collided with the black aura in the air, bursting into brilliant light.
The black aura within the fissure began to gradually recede, but David knew this was only temporary.
The power of Ice Hell was too strong, and his strength alone was insufficient to fully seal this fissure.
“It seems I’ll have to rely on the power of the Ice World.”
David’s gaze fell on the core of the Ice Palace, where a massive ice crystal emitted pure power of ice.
It was the source of the Ice World’s power and the only force capable of countering the power of Ice Hell.
David swiftly flew to the ice crystal, his dragon claw gently touching its surface.
A surge of pure ice power flowed into him instantly, dispelling the cold within his body.
“With the power of the Ice World, seal the invasion of Ice Hell!”
David growled, the chaos bloodline within him merging with the power of the Ice World to form a massive sealing array.
The light of the array enveloped the entire Ice Palace, slowly suppressing the black aura from the fissure.
David breathed a long sigh, his dragon body gently descending to the ground.
He knew the battle was temporarily over, but the threat of Ice Hell was not completely eradicated.
As long as the power of Ice Hell remained, the Ice World would never be truly safe, and the adversary would undoubtedly break through the barriers.
“I must find a way to completely destroy Ice Hell,” a flash of determination in David’s gaze.
The ice crystals of the Ice World gradually restored their original purity.
But David knew this was merely a temporary calm.
The power of Ice Hell continued to lurk in the shadows, waiting for its next incursion.
David stood in the ruins of the Ice Palace, his eyes fixed on the recently sealed fissure.
Even though the fissure was temporarily closed, he was acutely aware that the power of Ice Hell had not been completely dissipated, lurking deep within the Ice World, waiting for the next eruption.
He must find a way to completely obliterate Ice Hell, or this world would forever be fated to erosion.
With this in mind, a crystal appeared in his hand.
This crystal contained a formidable energy, precisely the energy of the Ice Hell Lord and Ice Hell.
Once Reina absorbs the energy within this crystal, she should be able to break through that bottleneck, elevating her Snow Demon Spirit to the Sixth Ring.
David gazed at the crystal in his hand, feeling the powerful and icy energy contained within.
He knew that this crystal was not only the condensation of Ice Hell’s power but also the key to Reina’s breakthrough.
