Adrian vanished from Olympus and did not even know the great chaos that he has created for them. All he can focus on is his body being corroded by Void Energy. His current body might be somewhat resistant to Void Energy but it does not mean he is immune to it. If he did not keep a poker face earlier then the Olympian Gods would have known something was wrong with him.

Adrian’s right arm could be seen tainted with Void Energy as if it is eating it alive. This is also the reason why he kept it behind him and used his left hand to snap his fingers earlier. Fortunately for Adrian, he was given a gift by the Tree of Life and Death. As soon as he felt the troublesome energy of the void encroaching on his body, he placed the leaf of the Tree of Life and Death on his mouth and chewed.

As soon as Adrian chewed the leaf, the rush of powerful life and death energy flowed inside of his body that it would have made him explode if he was not a demigod. The pure energy of life and death that no one could have absorbed is being utilized by Paradox to fight against the harmful effects of Void Energy. Adrian wanted to purge his body of the corrupting void energy but Paradox has other plans.

Paradox redirected the pure life and death energy onto the corrupted void energy to actually cleanse it. Energy can only be counteracted with the same one or if it is at the same quality. Fortunately for Adrian, the pure life and death energy from the leaf is able to subdue and even purify the corruption of the Void Energy.

As soon as Paradox took control of the energy of life and death in Adrian’s body, it used the immense power of purification of that energy to destroy the corruption of the void energy invading Adrian’s body. The void energy that was trying to eat up Adrian’s body and soul suddenly became light and obedient. After Paradox purified the corrupted void energy, it instantly absorbed it to fix what other problems Adrian’s body has.

Adrian could only sigh emptily as he knew that this skill was too powerful for him to use. It also needed his body becoming made of pure void energy or at least close to that state. It is actually a miracle that he was able to control it in the first place. He only managed to hold on and not get corrupted because the circumstances favored him.

If he did not have the leaf of the Tree of Life and Death and the retaliation function did not activate then Adrian would not have done such a risky play. Still, he at least gained 5 Divinity from the retaliation. It would have been more if he did not have outside aid but he will take what he can get from the exchange. It also gave the other god a warning if they tried to do anything funny as he basically wrecked Olympus by himself.

The God King Zeus was so noisy that he got the attention of the other god kings with his act. In the end, it was the God King Zeus that got humiliated by a demigod instead of a High God like him. The god kings are now re-evaluating their views on Avalon moving forward. This event gave Adrian and his territory some breathing room as they are a neutral faction.

It also gave the god kings information that the Champion of the Twin Gods can call the Void. It is such an unprecedented event that shook the core of all the gods that saw it. There has never been a Daemos or even an Asmodian Daemos that could control the Void just like Adrian did. Even the gods are afraid of those in the Void since the one Adrian summoned easily destroyed the barrier surrounding Olympus.

"My entire body hurts! Drag me to the hot spring area... please." Adrian stated as he laid down and had Sirius use his shadows to drag him to the hot spring area hidden by a veil created by the Tree of Life and Death.

[Stat reduction has been decreased in duration by 1 hour.]

"Still not enough. I guess I need to stay here for at least twelve hours to shed all of those negative effects." Adrian stated as he soaked in the hot spring.

"We managed to escape but Causian had to sacrifice himself." Nodal stated as he relaxed since they are now back in the hidden ruins.

"We should really treat him well if he respawns but at least, he did his duty. He really was there just to be a meat shield." Phaea stated.

"At least praise him without degrading him. It is also good that he did not transform fully so his cover has not been blown but I think the Olympian Gods are onto us. It would make getting the Golden Fleece incredibly difficult now as it is inside a vault in Olympus." Lernea stated.

Just as Lernea said that, Kholki suddenly returned back to their base at the same time as them which shocked the Apostles of Typhon. They thought that Kholki would return after a week of finding a way to get to the area where the Golden Fleece is but they also understood if he returned early because of the commotion. Olympus should have been at high alert now because of their heist of golden apples.

"I got the map that points to the sacred land where the Golden Fleece is being sealed." Kholki stated with a smile since he will not be called lazy as he got the most important thing for their next plan.
