OMG! Tyrant's Pampered Baby Is a Valued Princess

Chapter 1588: Is It Eccentric for an Immortal to Want Hair?

  • Next Chapter

Zhi’er said helplessly, “I’m really not a ghost, I’m an immortal, but I can’t tell you exactly which kind. However, I just showed you my powers. What else is there not to believe?”

Tang Qian hugged a pillow, curled up in the corner, and cried loudly.

“How am I supposed to believe this! This violates the scientific principles upon which the nation was founded!”

Zhi’er couldn’t understand and could only tilt her head.

She spoke truthfully, “Tang Qian, I came specifically to find you. I need your help with something, and no one else will do.”

Tang Qian held her head, somewhat overwhelmed, “Do you think this is a movie? An immortal-like person descends from the sky and tells me I’m the chosen child and only I can open the door to send you home?”

Zhi’er sat on the edge of the bed and smiled gently, “Pretty much, once you help, I can peacefully go home.”

Tang Qian: “… Are you just trying to scare me? Can’t you find someone else? I have no money.”

Zhi’er was extremely helpless.

How could she make Tang Qian believe?

Simply, Zhi’er closed her eyes, going through Tang Qian’s birth dates in her mind.

“Your mother died in a car accident when you were six, you lost your grandmother at nine, were taken to live with your father at eleven, sent to juvenile detention for a month at twelve after fighting with your stepmother, graduated at eighteen…”

“Stop!” Tang Qian immediately interrupted.

She looked at Zhi’er suspiciously, “How do you know I was in juvenile detention?”

Previously, her patron had already erased her bad records.

Suddenly, she sneered, “I get it, my dad told you, didn’t he?”

Zhi’er looked at her calmly, “You still refuse to believe me? I could tell you things even your father doesn’t know.”

“When you were twenty, you had a miscarriage.”

Tang Qian’s eyes widened.

Now, the fear in her eyes wasn’t about gods and ghosts, but truly realizing that this claimed immortal had seen through secrets she’d kept hidden all her life.

Zhi’er spoke in a calm tone, “Your life, to me, is like a narrated script, I just recited it. Don’t be surprised that I know. Now, do you believe in my powers?”

After a long time, Tang Qian finally choked and asked, “What do you want me to help you with?”

Zhi’er pointed to her head, “I need a strand of hair, a handful.”

Tang Qian’s mouth dropped open, “Even if you’re an immortal, you can’t ask for such a strange request!”

Zhi’er laughed helplessly, “I know it sounds strange, but that’s the truth. Simply put, you might be the reincarnation of a high god, which is why your hair is important.”

This time, Tang Qian laughed.

She laughed heartily, “This must be a mistake. I’ve lived such a miserable life, struggling and being supported by others. How could I possibly be the reincarnation of any god?”

As she spoke, she suddenly started crying again.

Zhi’er calmly handed over a tissue. She had seen Tang Qian’s life and knew it wasn’t easy for her, but at least she never gave up trying.

Zhi’er said softly, “You choose how you grow, don’t feel unworthy. Every life is just a splendid experience here; a soul has no rank or value.”

Tang Qian wiped away her tears, then suddenly paused.

She was stunned for a long time, then got up and got off the bed, “I’ll get some scissors and cut a piece for you.”

“Alright.” Zhi’er answered happily.

She followed Tang Qian into the living room.

She hadn’t looked closely earlier, but now with the living room lights on, she realized that Tang Qian’s home was very cozy. The three-bedroom, two-living-room layout was spacious and simple.

Zhi’er walked over to the bookshelf and picked up Tang Qian’s family photo.

In the photo, the little girl smiled innocently, surrounded by her parents on the lawn, wearing a birthday hat, with eyes full of innocence.

The corner of the photo had “Qianqian’s sixth birthday picnic” written on it.

Looking at her smile, Zhi’er sighed softly.

She was once a happy person in her parents’ embrace too.
