Fen Linxing tilted his head to listen nearby.

Pei Luochuan clicked on the video: "There’s another piece of surveillance footage here. We found it very strange, President Feng, take a look."

The location on the screen was recorded during the day when the crew was filming a stunt double scene.

As soon as the stunt double Lin Wan was lifted by the wire, a ripple of light flashed across the wire, almost impossible to catch, and the next second, Lin Wan fell to the ground with a head injury, bleeding profusely.

"Replay, slow down the speed." Feng Fuce frowned.

They watched it again carefully and discovered that the ripple of light was nothing else but a white-glowing woman’s hand.

Pei Luochuan immediately said: "It seems the female ghost from the reservoir is out causing trouble again. Ghosts have their ways; her blatant act must mean she’s a fierce ghost."

The handsome brows and eyes of Feng Fuce were filled with an icy cold expression.

He looked out the window.

He asked Pei Luochuan, who invited him over: "What do you want me to do?"

Pei Luochuan squinted his eyes: "Let this female ghost stir things up and kill Director Huang Zhen."

Before Feng Fuce could speak, Fen Linxing already spoke: "Daddy, Mommy doesn’t like us killing people."

After a day of looking at the iPad, the little one had learned various terms of address.

Feng Fuce raised an eyebrow.

Pei Luochuan immediately said: "President Feng, as long as you help me with this, you can have as much hair as you want."

He was also one of the people Feng Fuce was looking for.

Gradually, the night deepened, and the sound of wind and rain outside grew more violent, pounding against the glass window.

Most people in the hotel were already asleep, except Bai Zhi’er, who was still standing at the window as if waiting for a moment.

Tang Qian finished watching the TV series and came out of the bathroom yawning sleepily, scratching her head: "Immortal sister, aren’t you sleeping yet?"

Bai Zhi’er smiled at her: "I can’t sleep just yet, you go ahead and rest."

Tang Qian hugged her quilt: "Then I’ll stay up with you a little longer, since I don’t have to shoot tomorrow. But who are you waiting for? You’ve been standing there for more than an hour."

Bai Zhi’er said mysteriously: "Of course, I’m waiting for Lin Wan."

"Lin Wan?" Tang Qian was surprised: "Isn’t she in a coma?"

Bai Zhi’er just smiled silently, without responding.

Tang Qian’s curiosity was piqued, so she stayed and waited alongside her.

Before long, a loud "thud" came from some room in the hotel.

Even Cheng Xiao, who was sleeping nearby, was startled awake: "What the ghost! What sound!"

Bai Zhi’er almost immediately rushed out the door, and Tang Qian hurriedly shouted: "Immortal sister, wait for me, I’m coming too!"

Not knowing what was going on, Cheng Xiao nevertheless quickly put on his shoes and threw on a coat to follow them outside.

That loud noise just now seemed heard by few others besides Bai Zhi’er’s group.

She ran down to a room on the floor below, following the source of the sound.

Tang Qian frowned: "This is where Lin Wan stays."

The door was ajar, and a faint light was coming from inside.

"Tonight there should be a crew’s assistant staying with her." Tang Qian reached out to push the door open, but Bai Zhi’er grabbed her wrist.

Seeing her expression, Tang Qian instinctively followed Cheng Xiao to hide behind Bai Zhi’er.

Bai Zhi’er slowly pushed the door open and the first thing that came into view was a short vestibule, with high heels strewn all over the floor.

Walking a bit further, they could see white bed sheets draped onto the ground and the quilt was rolled into a ball in the corner.

On the opposite side of the bed, the LCD TV had a large hole in it and was now smoking.

Not sure if that loud noise just now was the sound of the TV being smashed.

The pale yellow curtains slowly swayed, as if hiding someone behind them.

The room was eerily silent, with Bai Zhi’er’s expression subtly cold.
