One-Eyed Monster
Chapter 1328 - 1325: A Familiar Feeling
Blue flames erupted like dragon serpents dancing in the air. These dragon serpents targeted the undead, causing severe blows to the entire undead battalion.
Like a destined nemesis, these undead feared the dragon serpents of flame, fleeing in all directions. The discipline they had before suddenly collapsed, leaving them in a state that was utterly bewildering.
This collapse-like defeat was completely unexpected for the Soul Guardians and the Kangen Family. They had assumed that the blue-skinned boy could only alleviate their oppressed situation, but unexpectedly, the boy directly announced the end of the confrontation.
These were seasoned veterans, and they instantly understood what was happening. Facing such circumstances, they would never relinquish their advantage, albeit brief, it was invaluable. They wouldn't let this scattered group of undead escape, confident in holding them here even if unable to thoroughly crush them.
They knew that these undead feared the blue flames, and so did Kuyi Tulan.
Kadi's blue flames ravaged the undead at will, and those touched by the tongue of fire reverted to their original state, no longer fierce, no longer resisting, falling to the ground, regaining their original undead appearance. These blue flames, like lightning, leave marks at their strike points.
The entire process unfolded in an instant; in the battle between masters, victory or defeat often hangs on such a moment.
During this entire process, Kuyi Tulan was dumbfounded by the scene before him. It was rare for something to shock Kuyi Tulan, especially at such a moment.
Kuyi Tulan repeatedly probed the Spirit for answers in his consciousness, but the Spirit, like him, remained in a dazed state.
Clearly, this unique blue-skinned boy brought an unexpectedly massive impact.
Everything turned here. The advantage once held by the undead crumbled, and the time they could consume became extremely tight. The undead never stood again after falling, seemingly the force controlling them couldn't contend with these blue flames.
"Kadi, and over there!" In that moment, Igor expanded his vision, determined to swiftly provide information from all sides to Kadi, allowing him to quickly crush the undead forces. With the assistance of the Kangen Family and Soul Guardians, Kadi's attack gained further power.
It had to be said, Kadi's control over the flames was exceedingly skillful; within just a few days, Kadi mastered controlling the blue flame, which was indeed astonishing.
Igor didn't have time to ponder how Kadi tamed the blue flame, for he knew their enemy wasn't merely the undead, their true adversary was the airborne Kuyi Tulan. Yet at this moment, everyone was focused on the undead, without the chance to strike Kuyi Tulan.
Kuyi Tulan hovered, aware their advantage was gone. What he couldn't understand was why the Shadow Ghost's advantage disappeared so suddenly, an absurdity defying logic.
"What on earth is happening, why can't you even react?" Kuyi Tulan was anxious in his consciousness.
"You have no right to question me!" The Spirit remained arrogant, indifferent to Kuyi Tulan's worries.
"No matter how you say it, these people will soon be free to deal with us!" Kuyi Tulan regarded the Spirit as his ally, setting aside previous disputes.
"Unexpected, to be here, I can sense this familiar scent!" The Spirit seemed immersed in its own memory, ignoring Kuyi Tulan's words.
Though anxious, Kuyi Tulan was helpless, his original spirit swallowed by the current one, preventing any skills from being used, rendering him as good as a cripple. Blood dripped from his arm, he knew it was only the beginning; soon his whole body would be riddled with scars.
"Kuyi Tulan!"
Before Kuyi Tulan's thoughts concluded, someone hysterically charged at him; unsurprisingly it was Bigas, whose tenacity resulted from Kuyi Tulan capturing her man.
Swish, swish—
Two ice arrows shot over, leaving Kuyi Tulan with no choice but to greet them with a smile.
Based on his past experience, he sensed these ice arrows weren't probing attacks but lethal ones...
The smiling Kuyi Tulan baffled others as he floated motionlessly, poised to accept the arrows with arrogance as an elite of the sacred cloak.
In a moment, just as he anticipated being struck, a powerful force unexpectedly emerged before him.
With a sizzle, the two ice arrows instantly turned to steam, surrounded by a circle of blue light around Kuyi Tulan.
This light, like a shield, tightly encased Kuyi Tulan.
"You can't easily discard me after all!" In consciousness, Kuyi Tulan addressed the Spirit.
"It's not reluctance; it's your importance to me!" The Spirit's tone became stronger, clearly intensifying its rhythm.
"No matter what, crossing this crisis, we'll revisit previously discussed matters!" Kuyi Tulan stated, feeling the situation forced them into a consensus.
"Kuyi Tulan, you are indeed a scoundrel!" The Kangen Family members now believed Kuyi Tulan was the mastermind, everything intricately linked to him.
"You people are always so self-righteous!" The Spirit said, looking down on everything, finding the Kangen family's accusations amusing.
"Aren't you the same? Don't forget, you cannot exist independently of me!" Kuyi Tulan replied, now shielded by the energy barrier, emboldened to negotiate with the Spirit, knowing it needed his presence to remain awake.
"For now, perhaps later not; ultimately you are mere ants, just vessels," the Spirit sneered while mobilizing energy, prepared for battle!
