One Night Mistake… Now I Carry the Mafia Heir
Chapter 211/What You Signed Up For
Chapter 211: 211/What You Signed Up For
Chapter 211
Stephanie’s POV
Alexander’s entire body went rigid, his blue eyes igniting with a scorching flame of jealousy that threatened to burn the very air between us. He took an aggressive step toward his brother, the veins on his forehead bulging violently as he visibly fought every instinct to brutally strike him again over this brazen, public confession inside our private suite.
As for me... my pupils dilated in sheer shock. I was nowhere near accustomed to this bewildering new reality that Cedric had the unmitigated audacity to declare his love for me out loud, a mere few inches away from Alexander! A hot flush of confusion and embarrassment crept up my cheeks. My throat locked, leaving me utterly speechless, and I could only shake my head in a hesitant, lost gesture to confirm his words.
Cedric didn’t so much as glance at Alexander’s mounting fury beside him; instead, he locked his full, imposing focus directly onto me. In a sudden, fluid movement, he tilted his head down, wrapping his warm palm securely behind the nape of my neck. He brought his lips down over mine, claiming them in a deep, warm kiss right before Alexander’s very eyes.
A muted gasp escaped my lips beneath his, the heat of the kiss surging through my trembling frame while his hand held me firm with a gentle, possessive passion.
It was raw, unyielding, and utterly disorienting so much so that my knees nearly buckled beneath me but the intoxicating taste of his grey devotion dissolved every single one of my defenses in a matter of seconds.
Suddenly, Alexander could no longer contain the volcanic jealousy devouring his chest. He lunged forward, his massive frame slamming in as he grabbed Cedric’s shoulder with crushing force. He shoved him back violently to tear his lips from mine, his voice booming with a sharp rage that shook the very foundation of the room:
"Get the fuck away from her! Can’t you see she hasn’t even processed this damn insanity yet?! Don’t you dare push your limits this blatantly inside my bedroom!"
Cedric stumbled back two paces with effortless composure. He slowly ran the flat of his thumb across the corner of his lip, casting a steady, dark grey stare at his brother that held not a single shred of hesitation.
"We just struck a deal, Alexander..." he rasped in a low, quiet baritone. "Stephanie belongs to both of us now. What I just did is merely the beginning of getting her accustomed to our new reality."
The lingering shock slowly evaporated from my features, replaced by an overwhelming wave of dominance and security after months of endless torment. I looked at Alexander, who was breathing heavily, his brilliant blue eyes overflowing with possessive agony, and then at Cedric, standing unyielding in his pride for my sake. I realized right then that this personal hell had officially become my private kingdom. I was no longer the victim in this twisted game; I was the queen pulling the strings of the two most powerful men in the world with absolute ease.
The storm inside Alexander’s chest detonated, his jaw clenching dangerously as he absorbed his brother’s defiant look. His pupils dilated at the sheer magnitude of the danger this game posed. Every fiber of his aristocratic pride demanded that he prove to Cedric that this arrangement was nothing short of suicidal that his authority as her official husband could never be erased so easily.
Alexander moved with blinding, manic speed. Before I could even register his movement, his powerful hands clamped firmly around my jaw. He slammed his lips down onto mine in a fierce, violent kiss dripping with unadulterated rage and raw possession. It was a scorching, suffocating assault that crushed my composure and stole the air directly from my lungs a desperate scream to the universe that I was his and his alone.
Cedric couldn’t stomach it. Watching his brother consume my lips stripped away every last drop of his restraint. His dark grey eyes flared with an all-consuming jealousy. He surged forward with thunderous strides, wrapping his fingers around Alexander’s arm to wrench him away from me, his voice cutting like a razor:
"Get off her, Alexander!"
Alexander shoved his brother’s hand away with brutal force, spinning around to face him with heavy breaths and veins pulsing along his neck. He rasped with a bitter, triumphant provocation:
"You see?! This can never fucking work, Cedric! You can’t endure it... and neither of us will ever be able to control this living hell!"
Cedric planted his feet firmly, locking his eyes into his brother’s with a dark, bitter resolve that refused to yield. "We have no other choice, Alexander... We have no other option. It is either this arrangement, or we lose her completely."
A suffocating, terrifying silence descended upon the suite. Alexander stared at him with a cold, pitch-black glare, then turned and walked with heavy, deliberate strides toward the bedroom door. He turned the key in the lock with a sharp, metallic click that sealed the suite entirely.
He turned back toward his brother with a dark, mocking sneer. Pointing a hand at me, his voice dropped into a dangerous whisper laced with absolute madness and lethal promise:
"So, you wanted to test this insanity for yourself, didn’t you? Then stand right there. Watch with your own eyes what happens between me and my wife right now, so you know *exactly* what the hell you signed up for with this cursed deal!"
I froze where I stood, staring at Alexander in complete horror, my lips still burning from his violent kiss. I took several weak, unsteady steps backward until my back hit the hard wooden edge of the bed frame, my body trembling under the weight of this raw, unhinged challenge.
Cedric stood his ground in the center of the room. Despite the dark sparks storming in his grey eyes from agonizing jealousy, he didn’t back down a single inch. He crossed his arms over his chest with unyielding pride, speaking in a low, gravelly baritone that forced every drop of suppressed frustration from his throat:
"Do your worst, Alexander. Prove to yourself before you try proving to me that you can assert your dominance. But I am not moving a single inch from this spot, and the reality we all agreed to will not change."
Alexander’s jaw tightened to a terrifying degree, his blue eyes blazing with a blind, ruthless possessiveness. He moved toward me with heavy, fate-like strides, his massive shadow completely engulfing me and blocking out the light. He leaned his imposing frame over mine, his powerful hands reaching out to clamp around my waist, pinning my trembling body against the fabric of the mattress.
He lowered his head until his scorching breath fanned across the sensitive skin of my neck, whispering in a low rasp dripping with blind jealousy:
"I am going to remind you exactly who you belong to, Stephanie... I am going to make you admit in front of everyone that you are my wife, and my wife alone that this body kneels to my authority and no one else’s!"
He brought his lips down onto my neck in a scorching, aggressive bite, stamping his mark into my skin while his fingers dug hard into my wrists. I squeezed my eyes shut and let out a faint, shuddering gasp not from pain, but from the dark, intoxicating thrill surging through my blood. I could feel Cedric’s grey eyes burning with pure agony and jealousy, tracking our every move from a few feet away, entirely powerless to intervene because of Alexander’s cursed rule.
Alexander tilted his head slightly, casting a mocking, vindictive glare at his brother as he pressed deeper against me, his breath coming in ragged gasps:
"You see, Cedric?... You see how easily she surrenders to my touch? Do you honestly think you can survive watching this every single night?"
Cedric’s entire frame went rigid, as if struck by a sudden bolt of lightning. The dark, mocking smile evaporated from his face, replaced by an all-consuming, terrifying madness. He lunged forward, slamming his heavy palms against Alexander’s broad chest with brutal force to wrench him off me. Alexander stumbled back several paces before catching his balance.
I immediately scrambled off the bed, my breathing ragged and my limbs trembling. I smoothed down the edges of my dress with frantic, erratic fingers, then stepped directly between their two towering silhouettes. My voice pierced through the tension, sharp, choked, and heavy with desperate pleading:
"Stop it! For God’s sake, stop this madness right now! I will not let the two of you turn this bedroom into a blood-soaked arena!"
Alexander gently, yet firmly, swept me behind his back with one broad arm to keep me out of harm’s way. He locked his burning blue eyes onto his brother, his voice booming like thunder:
"Get the fuck out of this room right now, Cedric! Get out and leave me with my wife before I lose whatever sanity I have left and end this farce in your blood!"
Cedric planted his feet firmly into the floor, refusing to yield a single inch.
He lifted his head with unyielding, aristocratic pride, his voice dropping into a low, uncompromising baritone:
"I am not going anywhere, Alexander! We just agreed to this arrangement with our eyes wide open... and that means your time with her is officially up for tonight. Stephanie is coming with me to my room to sleep by my side!"
"Over my dead body!" Alexander roared, lunging forward to violently seize Cedric by his collar. "She is my legal wife, and she will not set a single foot inside your room tonight!"
"Your marriage contract means nothing against the reality we all chose to accept!" Cedric bellowed back, forcefully shoving Alexander’s hands off him.
The argument erupted into complete hysteria. Sharp, venomous shouts bounced off the walls as lethal threats were hurled back and forth between the two brothers, threatening to degenerate into a brutal physical brawl right inside the suite.
I stood there watching their storm rage. That same dark, intoxicating thrill surged through my veins once more, potent and wild. I drew a slow, deep breath, stepped directly between them, and pressed my hands firmly against their chests to push them apart.
I spoke in a soft, smooth, hypnotic tone that instantly choked the furious shouts right in their throats:
"Why are we arguing so viciously when the solution is so much simpler?... Why don’t you both just stay here with me... the two of you, tonight?"
