Chapter 225: 225/Possessive Madness

Chapter 225

Stephanie’s point of view

I froze on the spot, my eyes widening in genuine shock that instantly silenced my desperate sobs. Staring at his face, which was flushed with conflicting emotions, I pressed my trembling fingers against my lips, my tone laced with utter bewilderment:

"Are you..." I choked on the words, searching his gaze. "...do you have feelings for me?"

He snapped his head away in irritation, his jaw tightening as he clenched his fist so hard his knuckles turned white. Shaking his head impatiently, he let out a harsh exhale through his nose:

"No!" He ran his fingers aggressively over his face, turning his back on me for a fraction of a second before whipping around. "I don’t fucking know... I don’t know what this madness is! I just... I don’t want you leaving me. That’s all."

I stood there motionless, my heart hammering against my ribs like a war drum while my mind struggled to wrap itself around the sheer scale of his twisted obsession. Hugging my arms tightly around my waist, my broken whisper dripped with pure disgust:

"You’re sick..." I shook my head, taking a step back into the shadows of the room. "You are terrifyingly sick, Vincetti. This isn’t feelings, and it isn’t wanting me around... This is a filthy, cursed obsession!"

He whipped his blue eyes back to mine, a sharp spark flashing in his gaze as he stepped directly into my space again, towering over me. His voice dropped into a low, quiet threat:

"Call it whatever the hell you want, Stephanie..." He leaned down, his eyes locking onto mine with ruthless dominance. "...An obsession, a disease, or pure madness. All that matters is that this tape is my leash around your neck now. You’re not going anywhere without my permission."

I wiped my face with my trembling palm, adjusting the collar of my shirt with stiff, awkward fingers. Lifting my chin, I stared straight into his dark eyes with a cold determination rising from the deepest part of my despair:

"Do you really think this tape is going to make me kneel to you?" I asked, my voice steadying despite the tears streaming down my face. "Do you honestly believe I’ll stay here just to be a plaything in your sick hands?"

A slow, chilling smile spread across his face as he stepped even closer, his fingers casually brushing a stray lock of hair from my forehead. "You’ll stay, of course... Unless you want Alexander to see every single second of it."

I slapped his hand away from my face with harsh, aggressive momentum, pressing my trembling palms against my chest in a desperate bid to hold myself together. Shaking my head in utter shock, a broken laugh escaped my lips:

"You’re... you’re not just sick with obsession, Vincetti.." I pointed a trembling finger at his face, my voice shaking with outrage. "..You planned this whole entire thing just to use that video as blackmail! Didn’t you? You want to bargain with my life so I stay at your mercy!"

He strolled casually toward the bed, turning his back to me as his cold eyes scanned the mess of sheets. Tilting his head, his tone came out flat and completely devoid of any pity:

"Call it blackmail, or call it a reminder that you’re never getting away from me... Either way, the result is the exact same."

My eyes widened in sheer horror and revulsion. I lunged forward a single step, my voice cracking as a ragged sob broke through:

"You are a vile, disgusting piece of shit!" I screamed at his back. "You talk about me staying by your side as if I could ever stand the sight of your face after this nightmare?!"

He spun around in an instant, his hand shooting out as his hard fingers clamped tightly around my jaw, forcing my head up so I had no choice but to look straight into his eyes. Leaning down until his rough breath rasped directly against my skin, he whispered:

"You will stand the sight of me, and you will obey every single order I give you, Stephanie..." He squeezed my jaw tighter, his eyes narrowing into cold slits. "...Because the alternative is watching your entire life and marriage crumble to ashes in front of Alexander with a single click of a button."

I violently yanked my jaw out of his grasp, stumbling back a step as I gasped for air, tears burning my eyes. I stared at him in utter horror and revulsion.

"You’re completely out of your mind!" I screamed, my voice shaking with pure rage as I slammed my palms against my stomach. "I am a married woman... and I’m pregnant! I’m carrying another man’s child! How can you possibly chase after me like this?! Do you have a single shred of honor or sanity left in you?!"

Not a single muscle twitched on his face. He merely tilted his head, his coldness infuriating as he spoke without a hint of remorse:

"I don’t care about any of that..." He shrugged slowly, stepping into my personal space. "...Your marriage, your pregnancy, or your child. All I care about is you."

My eyes widened in genuine shock, the breath trapped in my throat. Cold horror washed through my veins, making me feel as if my entire life were plunging into an endless, bottomless pit. How had this man turned into a living nightmare in a matter of moments, threatening to burn everything I built to the ground?

He took another step closer, his sharp blue eyes scanning my tear-soaked face with a dark, disturbing hunger.

"In fact..." He reached out, his thumb gently catching a stray tear on my cheek before I jerked away. "...I didn’t like touching you while you were drugged today. I want you fully conscious next time, feeling every single touch of your own free will."

"That will never fucking happen!" I yelled, my back slamming hard against the cold wall behind me as I violently shook my head. "I will die before I ever let a monster like you touch me willingly!"

A arrogant, sick smile spread across his lips, his gaze locking onto mine with chilling certainty.

"You just need a little time, Stephanie..." He leaned in, placing his hand on the wall right beside my head. "...The day will come when you beg me to touch you yourself."

I clenched my fists so tight my nails bit into my palms, glaring into his eyes with absolute hatred.

"I am a married woman!" I screamed, tears spilling over my lashes. "I love my husband, Alexander, and I will never see another man in my life!"

He pressed even closer, his hot breath brushing against my skin, sending a wave of disgust through me.

"But you love Cedric too... don’t you?" He whispered maliciously, planting poisonous doubt straight into my mind. "If your heart has enough room for two men, you can love me too."
