Chapter 230: 230/Obsessed With Men

Chapter 230

Stephanie’s point of view

I squeezed my eyes shut, holding onto the edge of the wooden table with a shaking hand. "Please, Keira..." I murmured softly, desperate. "...don’t talk about him right now. I just want to forget all of this."

Keira let out a heavy sigh over the line, her sharp edge softening slightly. "Alright, Steph... I get it."

My eyes drifted back to my reflection in the mirror, my voice barely escaping the shadows around me. "I wanted to tell you something else."

"What is it?"

A faint smile touched my lips, though it didn’t quite reach my exhausted eyes. "I went to get an ultrasound for the twins’ genders."

Keira’s voice instantly spiked with genuine excitement: "Really?! What are they?!"

"Only one showed up clearly so far..." I smoothed a hand over my stomach. "...It’s a girl."

A high-pitched squeal of delight erupted through the phone speaker, her tone filled with infectious delight: "Oh my God! Am I really going to be an aunt to a baby girl?!"

A soft, brief laugh pulled from my chest a fleeting burst of lightness cutting through my profound exhaustion:

"Yes..." I murmured, smiling faintly. "...and maybe to two girls, haha."

"That is amazing, Steph!"

A brief pause settled between us. I took a deep, steadying breath as I shifted my posture in front of the mirror, my tone lacing with a strange, intoxicating warmth:

"I want to tell you something else..." I whispered softly. "...something really beautiful and completely unexpected."

"What is it?"

I leaned my back against the closet door, speaking quietly: "Last night... I confessed everything to Alexander. I told him that I slept with his brother, and that I love both of them equally."

Keira’s breathing hitched sharply on the other end, followed by a beat of stunned silence before she gasped:

"What?!"

"Yes..." I continued, tracing a thumb along the edge of my phone case. "...and Cedric walked into the room at that exact moment. At first, they both completely lost their minds, but I made it clear to them that I would just pack my things and leave them both behind."

"Wait..." Keira asked, her voice tightly strung with disbelief. "...and what happened after that?"

An incredible sense of relief washed over my features, my voice dropping to a low hush: "Cedric brought up the idea of sharing... and they agreed, Keira. They both agreed to share me."

Keira let out a sharp, incredulous shout into the speaker: "What kind of absolute madness is that?!"

I gave a light, nonchalant shrug, even though she couldn’t see me: "I know it sounds crazy... doesn’t it?"

Keira responded with a dry, completely uncomprehending tone: "I literally cannot believe what I’m hearing..."

I smiled softly to myself as the detailed memory of that night washed back over me, my voice trailing off in a hazy, warm daze: "We were together last night... all three of us, Keira. Ah, Keira... it honestly felt like a complete fantasy."

Silence hung heavy on the line for a few long, agonizing seconds before Keira’s voice came back, cold and dripping with stark bewilderment:

"Just like that? They just accepted a situation like that so easily and naturally?"

"Yes..." I whispered, leaning my head back against the wall. "...Isn’t it like an absolute dream come true?"

Keira let out a harsh, cold sigh, her voice dropping all traces of warmth or pleasantry: "Stephanie... this makes zero sense. How can a woman possibly be with two men at the exact same time?"

My brows pulled together tightly at the sudden change in her tone. "Why?" I asked, taken aback. "What’s wrong with that?"

"You are married to Alexander!" Keira shot back, her voice cutting sharp and clear. "Why on earth do you insist on having Cedric, too?!"

My fingers tightened around the phone, a prickle of annoyance rising in my chest: "Keira... you know better than anyone that I love them both!"

" Steph, snap back to reality!" Keira snapped, her voice rising in frustration. "How are you planning to just sleep with both of them continuously like it’s nothing?!"

My expression hardened, my voice turning cold as I stared blankly at the floor: "Keira... what is wrong with you? Why are you talking to me like this?"

"I’m just giving you advice, Steph!" Keira replied, her tone laced with explicit criticism. "You have Alexander now, and he loves you deeply. Why are you so adamant about keeping Cedric around as well?!"

"And what exactly is the issue with that?!" I demanded, my chest heaving.

Keira answered with a flat, unwavering finality, completely devoid of empathy: "Because everything you’re describing to me right now... doesn’t make a lick of sense to any normal human being."

I rolled my eyes in irritation, my tone turning dismissive and defiant: "I don’t give a damn about normal logic or what people think... The only ones I care about are Alexander and Cedric."

A heavy silence stretched between us before Keira let out a dry, sarcastic laugh, her tone thick with judgment:

"And now... Vincetti!" She spat out bitterly. "You want to submit to him and sleep with him, too?!"

I stiffened, standing up straight as anger flared hot in my veins. "You know damn well he is blackmailing me with that tape!"

Keira spoke with an icy, accusatory chill that severed the warmth between us in an instant:

"Stephanie... I’m your friend, but I honestly feel like you’ve become completely obsessed with men! It’s like you suddenly want every single man all at once!"

My eyes widened in utter shock and hurt, a gasp catching in my throat as I yelled into the phone:

"Are you seriously implying that I actually desire Vincetti and want him, too?!"

Keira’s response was immediate, cut through with absolute coldness:

"I don’t know..." She said flatly. "...but your actions are honestly baffling me."

I clamped my jaw shut tight, my voice trembling with a mixture of raw rage and deep betrayal:

"What the hell is your problem, Keira?! It feels like you’re attacking me in the most disgusting way possible!"
