“A dragon?”

Vice Admiral Gumir stood on the flagship’s deck, his pupils shrinking suddenly.

He never imagined he would encounter a legendary creature in a place like this.

The sea breeze whipped his cloak, making it flutter loudly.

“All hands, attention!”

Gumir shouted sternly.

“Prepare for anti-air fire!”

The soldiers on the warships scrambled to adjust the cannons, and the artillery of over a dozen warships aimed at the sky in unison.

However, Kaguya and Nojiko’s speed far exceeded their imagination; two giant figures flew from the distance, approaching the sky above the fleet in the blink of an eye.

“Fire!”

Vice Admiral Gumir’s roar echoed across the deck.

Deafening cannon fire rang out, and dense shells traced countless trails of white smoke in the air.

Nami, sitting on Kaguya’s back, released a transparent Barrier, blocking all the incoming shells.

The flames of the explosions bloomed outside the Barrier like brilliant fireworks.

Robin crossed her arms over her chest, and countless arms grew from the warship’s deck, precisely snatching away the soldiers’ weapons.

Nojiko controlled wind blades, shredding the sails and causing the warships to lose their maneuverability.

Soon, everyone landed on the warship.

Kaguya and Nojiko returned to their human forms.

“So they’re Devil Fruit Users.”

Vice Admiral Gumir gripped his saber, his gaze locked firmly onto Kaguya.

“Are you Kaguya?”

He recognized Kaguya’s identity; after all, Alabasta was within his jurisdiction.

“Hello, Vice Admiral Gumir. Nice to meet you; I am Kaguya.”

A playful smile curled on Kaguya’s lips as he walked forward slowly.

“I didn’t expect the Marines to value me so much, sending so many warships to ‘welcome’ me.”

Vice Admiral Gumir snorted coldly.

“Enough talk! Release Captain Hina immediately!”

“Hina? She’s already my woman; I can’t give her back to you anymore.”

Gumir was furious upon hearing this; his saber unsheathed instantly, the blade glinting coldly in the sunlight.

“Damn pirate! I will surely slay you here today!”

Kaguya drew onikiri and clashed fiercely with Gumir’s saber, sparks flying everywhere.

The power of the two kicked up a blast of air on the deck, knocking the surrounding soldiers back several steps.

After Kaguya launched his attack, Nami and the others each chose a warship and flew over.

A flash of surprise crossed Gumir’s eyes; he hadn’t expected Kaguya’s strength to be so great.

But he was a battle-hardened Vice Admiral after all; he quickly adjusted his stance, turned his blade, and sent a sharp slash straight for Kaguya’s throat.

“Strength is average, speed is average. Is this all a Marine Vice Admiral is capable of?”

Kaguya easily dodged Gumir’s slash and spoke with disdainful mockery.

Kaguya’s current strength, enhanced by the Torch Dragon’s Essence Blood, was no longer at the level it was when he fought Garp.

His physical strength, reaction speed, and Haki level had all reached a brand-new realm.

Having just taken Gumir’s enraged strike, Kaguya hadn’t even moved his feet an inch.

Gumir’s anger flared even more upon hearing this; veins bulged on his forehead, and thick Armament Haki instantly covered his blade as his overall aura surged to a higher level.

“Now this is getting interesting.”

The Armament Haki within Kaguya’s body also erupted instantly, pitch-black Haki swirling around onikiri like flames.

The two clashed again, the flashes of blades and shadows of swords erupting into deafening metallic clangs.

The deck trembled continuously under their fierce battle, wood splinters flying everywhere.

Vice Admiral Gumir’s every strike carried the momentum of a thunderbolt, yet Kaguya neutralized them as easily as taking a stroll in a garden.

Currently, even without using the Power of Time, Kaguya could easily handle a Marine Vice Admiral with just Haki and swordsmanship.

Kaguya felt that if he went all out, he might be able to hold his own against a Marine Admiral for a while.

Seeing Vice Admiral Gumir actually falling into a disadvantage, the surrounding Marine soldiers wanted to help, but were intimidated into immobility by an invisible pressure.

This pressure was an ability Kaguya had developed not long ago, similar to Conqueror’s Haki, but more accurately, it was a type of Dragon Might.

Kaguya intended to try converting this Dragon Might into Conqueror’s Haki next.

After all, Dragon Might could only clear out fodder and didn’t enhance combat power.

But Haoshoku Infusion was a secret technique capable of contending with top-tier powerhouses.

The battle between Kaguya and Gumir grew more intense, the aftershocks of their clashing blades tearing several cracks into the deck.

Vice Admiral Gumir’s breathing began to quicken, fine beads of sweat breaking out on his forehead, while Kaguya remained at ease, the smile on his lips becoming even more apparent.

“It seems a Marine Vice Admiral is nothing more than this.”

Kaguya flicked his wrist, and onikiri’s blade instantly broke through Gumir’s defense, leaving a shallow sword wound on his chest.

Gumir groaned, stepping back a few paces, a flash of disbelief in his eyes.

He never imagined that he would be suppressed by a young pirate in a head-on confrontation.

“Damn it…”

He grit his teeth, his hand holding the sword trembling slightly, but his fighting spirit didn’t diminish in the slightest.

Vice Admiral Gumir suddenly roared, his muscles bulging and his uniform stretching to the point of nearly bursting.

He held his sword with both hands, all the Armament Haki in his body swirling around the blade.

“Life Return: Raging Wave Slash!”

With this roar, Gumir’s figure suddenly vanished, appearing above Kaguya’s head the next second.

The blade, carrying violent air currents, tore through the surrounding air with a piercing screech.

A hint of surprise flashed in Kaguya’s eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.

He stepped back half a pace with his right leg and held onikiri horizontally above his head, the blade covered in Armament Haki far stronger than Gumir’s.

“Clang—!”

The moment the two blades collided, the entire warship shook violently.

Centered on the two of them, a visible shockwave expanded in a ring, snapping the masts of several surrounding warships all at once.

The sea surface was shaken by this earth-shattering strike, churning up giant waves several meters high; the warships rocked violently in the surges as soldiers scrambled to grab the gunwales.

Vice Admiral Gumir’s blade shattered inch by inch against Kaguya’s block; he stared wide-eyed, looking in disbelief at the broken hilt remaining in his hand.

Meanwhile, Kaguya’s onikiri remained perfectly intact, its pitch-black blade radiating a suffocating pressure.

“It’s over.”

Kaguya spoke flatly, turned his blade, and slammed the back of it heavily against Gumir’s chest.

The Marine Vice Admiral flew backward like a broken kite, crashing through the mainmast before slamming heavily onto the deck.

At the same time, Nami and the others had also successively dealt with the enemies on their respective warships.

The few of them flew back, bringing the highest-ranking officers from each warship.

Kaguya looked around, surveying the situation on the warships.

On the decks of the dozen or so warships, Marine soldiers who had lost their ability to fight lay scattered everywhere.

Over a dozen Marine officers, with the lowest rank being Major, were escorted to the main ship’s deck by Nami and the others; their faces were filled with resentment and humiliation, yet they were helpless.
