Nami and Nojiko, who were cooking, quickly ran out of the cabin after hearing Moomoo’s cry.

“Kaguya, what happened?”

The two women quickly came to Kaguya’s side and asked in confusion.

“We’ve encountered a troublesome fellow.

We need to change course.”

“A troublesome fellow?”

“Yeah, I saw Marine Vice Admiral Garp’s warship.

While there’s still time, we’ll change course and avoid him.”

Hearing this, Nami immediately went to get the sea chart.

As Kaguya prepared to change the course of the dragon soaring ten thousand miles, the lookout on Garp’s dog-head battleship also spotted the ship.

“Lord Bogard! A pirate ship suspected to be Pirate Kaguya’s has been spotted ahead.”

Hearing the report from the den den mushi, Bogard walked quickly to the bow.

“It indeed looks very much like the ship in the intelligence.”

Bogard lowered his binoculars and came before Garp.

“Vice Admiral, we’ve found the young man who killed Nezumi. Should we go take a look?”

“Hmm?

Since we’ve run into him, let’s go have a look.”

Garp put down the donut in his hand, patted the crumbs off his hands, stood up, and stretched his muscles.

“I heard from that Smoker kid that this young man originally intended to join the Marines.

It was just a series of accidents that led to the current situation.

In the end, it was the Marines’ fault this time.

If I can bring him under my command, it would make up for it a bit.”

Garp grinned, revealing his signature hearty smile.

Just then, a Marine soldier on the lookout tower shouted loudly.

“Report! The target vessel is changing course!”

Garp laughed heartily upon hearing this and waved his thick arm.

“Full speed ahead! We can’t let this kid get away!”

The sails of the dog-head battleship instantly filled with wind, carving a white wake across the azure sea.

“Kaguya! That warship is accelerating!”

Nojiko observed through the binoculars that the dog-head battleship was approaching at an alarming speed and quickly called out a warning.

“Nami, is the course adjusted?”

“It’s all set!”

“Moomoo, release the towline!”

“Moo~”

“I didn’t expect the propulsion system I just installed to come in handy so soon.”

Kaguya quickly ran into the cabin.

Arriving at the engine room, Kaguya didn’t hesitate and immediately pressed the start button.

With the roar of mechanical operation, a shockwave erupted from the stern of the dragon soaring ten thousand miles, and the entire ship shot forward like an arrow from a bow.

Moomoo exerted all its strength just to barely keep up with the ship.

The women on deck were caught off guard and grabbed onto nearby fixed objects to steady themselves.

On the dog-head battleship—

Garp stood at the bow, the sea breeze making his Justice cloak flutter loudly.

He narrowed his eyes, watching the suddenly accelerating dragon soaring ten thousand miles ahead, the smile at the corner of his mouth deepening.

“Bwahahaha, interesting. This kid actually installed a propulsion system on his ship.

It seems this kid is even more interesting than I thought.”

Garp turned and walked toward the stern.

“Bogard, furl the sails!”

Bogard immediately understood Garp’s intention.

The Marine soldiers on deck also knew what Garp was planning to do.

They quickly furled the sails and then found spots to brace themselves.

Garp walked to the stern, took a deep breath, and slightly crouched his legs.

With a loud shout, he suddenly threw a right punch, and a visible shockwave instantly struck the sea surface.

The massive reaction force sent the entire warship hurtling forward like a cannonball, kicking up waves dozens of meters high.

Driven by Garp’s monstrous strength, the dog-head battleship closed the distance with the dragon soaring ten thousand miles at an incredible speed.

The Marines on deck gripped the gunwales tightly, unable to keep their eyes open against the oncoming sea wind.

Garp stood at the stern, his punches continuous, each one boosting the warship’s speed to another level.

His laughter was exceptionally clear amidst the howling sea wind.

“Bwahahaha! Kid, escaping from my hands won’t be that easy!”

The three women on the ship watched the dog-head battleship that had already taken to the sky, their mouths hanging open in shock.

The binoculars in Nojiko’s hand almost slipped; she rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

“A flying warship?”

“Honey Queen! Go tell Kaguya to come out. We can’t escape now.

Prepare for battle!”

Nami said with a grave expression, watching the rapidly approaching dog-head battleship.

Honey Queen immediately turned and ran toward the cabin, her long golden hair fluttering in the wind.

“Kaguya! That warship is catching up!”

Honey Queen pushed open the engine room door and shouted anxiously.

Kaguya, who was turning a crank, quickly let Honey Queen take over for him.

“I’ve already turned it two thousand three hundred and fifty-five times. You take over for me and reach ten thousand turns.”

“Okay, be careful.”

Honey Queen knew Kaguya was going out to fight.

After Kaguya left, Honey Queen began to rapidly turn the crank.

When Kaguya returned to the deck and saw the warship in the sky behind them defying the laws of physics, his pupils shrank suddenly.

“That old bastard Garp…”

Kaguya gritted his teeth.

“To actually use such a method to catch up.”

“Kaguya, what do we do now?”

Nami and Nojiko came to Kaguya’s side and asked nervously.

Kaguya took a deep breath, his gaze fixed determinedly on the nearing dog-head battleship.

“Since we can’t escape, let’s face them head-on!”

Ten minutes later, the speed of the dragon soaring ten thousand miles began to drop.

“Moo~”

Following closely behind the ship, Moomoo finally got a breather.

“BOOM!”

The dog-head battleship crashed onto the sea surface in front of the dragon soaring ten thousand miles, kicking up a colossal wave.

The dragon soaring ten thousand miles rocked violently, with barrels and ropes rolling all over the deck.

Garp’s figure emerged from the mist of seawater; he stood at the bow of the warship, his Justice cloak fluttering in the wind.

“Bwahahahaha!

Kid, you run pretty fast!

You almost wore this old man out.”

Garp’s hearty laughter carried through the waves.

“Vice Admiral Garp, I’ve heard much about you.

I’m truly flattered that Vice Admiral Garp would go to such great lengths to chase me.”

Kaguya steadied himself, his right hand already resting on the hilt of the sword at his waist.

“Young man, I heard you originally wanted to join the Marines?”

Garp stood with hands on his hips, his gaze piercing as he sized up Kaguya.

“Come with me, and I can ask Sengoku to rescind your wanted poster.”

Kaguya was taken aback upon hearing this, but then it occurred to him that it must be a lie made up by Tashigi’s side.

“Thank you for the kind offer, Vice Admiral Garp.

But some things, once missed, can never be turned back.”

A flash of regret crossed Garp’s eyes, but it was quickly replaced by his usual bold expression.

He crossed his arms and laughed loudly.

“Bwahahaha! That’s a pity then!

I don’t like forcing people, however—”

His eyes suddenly became sharp.

“You did kill Marines after all, so I must still capture you!”

Before his voice had even faded, Garp’s figure leaped from the warship like a cannonball, lunging straight for the dragon soaring ten thousand miles.

Kaguya’s pupils constricted, and onikiri instantly cleared its scabbard, the blade tracing a cold arc in the sunlight.
