“Kaguya! Come here quickly!”

Nami’s voice came from a pirate ship.

Kaguya and Nojiko immediately flew towards the pirate ship where Nami was.

“What’s wrong?”

Nami pointed toward the cabin.

“There are civilians imprisoned by this pirate crew down there.”

The cabin was dark and damp, the air thick with a nauseating smell of mold.

Dozens of wounded civilians were chained to the cabin walls; when they saw Kaguya’s group of three, they curled up in fear.

“Don’t be afraid, we’re here to save you.”

Kaguya drew onikiri and slashed through the chains of the prison.

“Are you the Marine?”

A middle-aged man in the crowd asked.

“No, just passing travelers.

Who are you people?”

Kaguya asked while cutting the chains binding everyone.

“We are from the Syrup Trading Company. We were heading to Loguetown for trade, but unfortunately encountered the Krieg Pirate Crew…”

The middle-aged man replied.

“Syrup Trading Company? From Syrup Village?”

Kaguya looked at the middle-aged man with some surprise.

“Yes, that’s right.”

The middle-aged man nodded.

Kaguya thought of the young girl he had just rescued; now he finally knew why she looked familiar.

“We just rescued a boy and a girl. They should be with you, right?”

“You saved Kaya!”

The middle-aged man excitedly stepped forward and grabbed Kaguya’s arm.

“Don’t get excited. Who is she to you?”

“She is my daughter!”

The middle-aged man’s voice trembled, and tears welled up in his eyes.

“Calm down. I’ll untie the others first. Your daughter is fine.

You’ll be able to see her on my ship in a moment.”

Kaguya pulled his arm from the middle-aged man’s grasp and continued untying the others.

During the process, he also found the boy’s father.

After rescuing everyone, Kaguya’s group of three led them out of the cabin.

Seeing the pirate corpses on the deck, these ordinary people turned pale with fright, and a few even couldn’t help but vomit.

“Nami, Nojiko, go search the ship for treasure.”

After giving instructions, Kaguya looked back at the civilians.

“You wait here for now.

You wait here too. I’ll go bring Kaya over.”

The middle-aged man nodded, watching Kaguya fly back to the Longteng Wanli.

When Kaguya found Honey Queen and the others, Kaya had already woken up from her coma.

Aside from being a bit weak, she wasn’t injured.

Kaguya observed his future ship doctor, marveling in his heart at the wonders of fate.

He hadn’t expected to meet Kaya before even reaching Syrup Village, especially in this manner.

“Kaya, we just saved your father. He wants to see you now.

Come with me.”

Beside them, Honey Queen’s eyes widened in surprise upon hearing the name.

Kaguya waved his hand at her, signaling her not to say anything.

Hearing Kaguya’s words, the boy immediately asked excitedly, “Sir! Then my father…”

“Don’t worry, your father is also alive.”

“That’s wonderful!”

“Thud, thud, thud!”

The boy excitedly knelt and kowtowed three times.

“Alright, follow me. I’ll take you there.”

With Honey Queen’s support, Kaya slowly stood up, a hint of color returning to her pale face.

“Thank you for saving us…”

Her voice was as crisp and pleasant as a breeze brushing against wind chimes.

“You haven’t recovered yet. I’ll carry you out.”

Regardless of whether Kaya agreed, Kaguya gently picked her up.

The girl’s body was as light as a feather, and a faint herbal scent lingered at the tip of his nose.

Kaya’s pale cheeks flushed, but she obediently did not struggle.

Honey Queen and the boy followed behind as they left the cabin.

Kaguya carried Kaya and flew toward the pirate ship opposite them.

When Kaguya landed on the pirate ship’s deck with Kaya, the middle-aged man stumbled forward.

“Kaya!”

His hands trembled as he reached out to touch his daughter, but he stopped mid-air as if afraid of hurting her.

Hearing her father’s voice, tears instantly burst from Kaya’s eyes.

“Father…”

After setting Kaya down, Kaguya went back and brought the boy over.

As the boy and his father wept in each other’s arms, Nami and Nojiko emerged from the cabin with several large bags of treasure, but at this moment, everyone’s attention was focused on the reunited family members.

“These pirates really have quite a lot of treasure.”

Nami patted the bulging bundle.

“You two take the treasure back first. I’ll be back later.”

“Okay.”

Nami and Nojiko nodded and flew back to the Longteng Wanli.

“benefactor!

Thank you for saving my daughter and us.

If it’s convenient, would you come back to Syrup Village with me?

I will properly repay your kindness.”

Kaya’s father bowed deeply, his voice choking up.

Kaguya helped him up, his gaze sweeping over the survivors on the deck.

“Clean up that pirate ship next to us later; you can take that ship home.”

After speaking, Kaguya retracted his gaze and looked at Kaya’s father.

“I heard you’re a merchant guild owner. You should have a way to handle these pirate ships, right?

Although these ships have some damage, they should still fetch a good price.

Help me sell these ships and exchange the bounties for Krieg and his crew.

Doing this will count as repaying your debt.”

Kaya’s father nodded repeatedly upon hearing this, his eyes full of gratitude and respect.

“Rest assured, benefactor. Our Syrup Trading Company has connections with the shipyards in Loguetown; we will surely sell these vessels for a good price.

I will also personally go to the Marine branch to handle the bounties for the Krieg Pirate Crew.”

“Alright, then get yourselves ready. We’re about to set off.”

“Wait, benefactor…”

“Hmm?”

Kaguya looked at Kaya’s father in confusion.

“My daughter is frail and sickly, and she’s been frightened this time.

The environment on these pirate ships isn’t suitable for her. I wonder if she could stay on your ship first?”

Kaya’s father requested awkwardly.

Kaguya looked at the pale Kaya and nodded subtly.

“No problem. My ship happens to have a few empty rooms.”

“Thank you, benefactor!”

Kaya’s father bowed gratefully once more and turned to arrange for the others to board the ship.

Kaguya carried Kaya back to the Longteng Wanli.

“benefactor… I still don’t know your name.”

Kaya asked softly, nestled in Kaguya’s arms.

“My name is Kaguya.”

Looking at the petite and delicate Kaya in his arms, Kaguya smiled slightly.

“You can just call me by my name.”

Kaya nodded gently, a faint blush appearing on her pale cheeks.

Her slender fingers unconsciously gripped Kaguya’s lapel, her voice as faint as a mosquito’s hum.

“Lord Kaguya… thank you so much for saving us…”

“You’re welcome.”

After returning to the Longteng Wanli, the three women immediately came forward to meet them.
