One Piece: Starting with Sharingan, I Joined the Straw Hat Pirates
Chapter 394: The Ownership of the Famous Blade! Tatsuya's Assassination Plan
Seeing Hitetsu pointing at Tatsuya and questioning him excitedly because of “Shusui,” the lost national treasure of Wano Country, Kin’emon was scared out of his wits.
Kin’emon had witnessed with his own eyes the unfathomable, terrifying strength and ruthless methods of this Vice Captain.
Not long ago, this god of slaughter had even stepped on their noble young master and warned him.
Terrified that Hitetsu’s reckless actions might anger Tatsuya, he rushed forward and pressed down Hitetsu’s outstretched hand.
“Master Hitetsu! Do not be impulsive!”
Kin’emon was covered in cold sweat, whispering urgently, fearing he would see his old friend beheaded the next second.
Just as the atmosphere on the beach grew tense because of this black blade, Zoro stood out with a calm expression.
As a pure swordsman, he could not tolerate the legacy of a famous blade being subjected to groundless suspicion.
He looked at Hitetsu with calm eyes and explained the ins and outs of the matter:
“Don’t misunderstand, Tengu.”
“This sword wasn’t stolen or snatched.”
“Back then, on the foggy Thriller Bark, I fairly defeated the legendary samurai Ryuma, who possessed Brook’s shadow.”
“As the Tatsuya, it was Ryuma himself who entrusted this Shusui to me, asking me to find a suitable owner for it.”
Zoro paused, glanced at the black blade at Tatsuya’s waist, and continued:
“Therefore, I entrusted this Shusui to our Vice Captain. This is the legacy of Shusui.”
After listening to Zoro’s frank explanation, Tatsuya stood where he was, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
He casually rested one hand on the hilt of Shusui and looked at Hitetsu, adding:
“That is exactly it. A black blade has a spirit and chooses its master.”
“If you or the samurai of Wano Country are unconvinced and want to take back the national treasure, it is simple.”
“Let a samurai of Wano Country stand before me and defeat me, and they can take it away.”
Tatsuya’s voice was not loud, but it carried an unquestionable Haki.
Kin’emon, standing to the side, wiped the sweat from his forehead and nodded frantically, trying to ease the tense atmosphere.
Hitetsu stood there, keenly sensing the substantial, terrifying pressure emanating faintly from Tatsuya.
That feeling was a hundred times more dangerous than facing the fiercest beast in the wilderness.
He swallowed hard, knowing that the man in front of him was definitely not someone he could contend with.
He could only droop his head, explaining to Tatsuya that he was just excited for a moment and had no malicious intent.
Just as the disturbance regarding Shusui had subsided, Zoro’s gaze fell on the “Second Generation Kitetsu” that Hitetsu was holding tightly.
As a master swordsman, it was inevitable that his hands would itch when encountering a rare, peerless blade.
Zoro stepped forward, making no secret of the fanaticism in his eyes, and bluntly stated that he wanted to “borrow” it to take a look.
“Hey, Tengu.”
“How about you lend me that sword in your hand to swing a couple of times?”
Hearing this, Hitetsu waved his hands repeatedly in refusal, like a mother hen protecting her chicks.
He looked terrified as he protected the Second Generation Kitetsu behind him and warned loudly:
“No! This is not an ordinary sword!”
“This is a cursed blade, and touching it will bring unimaginable misfortune to anyone!”
“I only brought it with me because I was worried that O-Tama would be in danger outside and needed it for self-defense!”
Because the fallen Gifters on the beach might attract a large number of pursuers from the Beasts Pirates at any time, Hitetsu forcibly ended the discussion about swords.
He turned around and invited the Straw Hat and Kin’emon and the others to move immediately to his secluded Amigasa Village for rest and consultation.
The group passed through the desolate forest and soon arrived at the dilapidated Amigasa Village.
Looking at the crumbling thatched cottages and the sallow-faced villagers, Sanji did not hesitate and immediately took over the logistics in the Village.
He quickly returned to the thousand sunny to get some supplies.
Then, he set up a large pot in the open space in the center of the Village and, with his superb culinary skills, made a very sumptuous and delicious banquet for everyone.
The rich aroma instantly filled the entire dilapidated Village.
O-Tama held a bowl full of exquisite food and ate ravenously.
She ate with a face full of happiness, her big eyes filled with tears of emotion, and as she ate, she exclaimed:
“It’s so delicious… Wuwu, this is the most delicious food O-Tama has ever eaten in her life!”
“It’s just like a dream!”
At the dining table, Hitetsu sat upright and gave the newcomers a detailed introduction to the suffocating situation in Wano Country.
He described the brutal rule of the fake Shogun Orochi and the strict hierarchy of the Beasts Pirates under Kaido.
From the “All-Stars” who shook the sea at the highest level, to the powerful “Tobi Roppo,” to the “Headliners” who ruled one side, and finally the bottom-level “Gifters.”
Finally, Hitetsu pointed out the location of Kaido’s base.
That “Onigashima,” which was isolated overseas and difficult to attack.
Hearing this basic intelligence, Law put down the rice ball in his hand and frowned slightly.
He habitually asked about the deeper troop deployments and internal defense details.
However, facing Law’s questioning, Hitetsu could only shake his head in shame.
He sighed and said that he had lived in this dilapidated Village for many years and only knew the surface of the core secrets outside, having no way of knowing the specific distribution of enemy forces.
The atmosphere became somewhat heavy.
Kin’emon turned his head and looked at Luffy, who was gorging himself, with hope, respectfully asking what plan Luffy had for the crusade.
“Captain Luffy, facing such a strong enemy, I wonder what brilliant plan you have in mind?”
“We can work hard to cooperate!”
Luffy chewed the huge piece of meat on the bone in his mouth while shaking his head casually.
He swallowed the food, his face oily, but said loudly as if it were a matter of course:
“Plans and such, they sound too troublesome!”
“Since we know that guy Kaido is on Onigashima, why don’t we just rush over there and blow them all away?”
This simple and crude statement made Hitetsu, Kin’emon, O-Tama, and the other Wano Country people open their mouths in astonishment.
Is this the amazing spirit of the newly promoted “Fifth Emperor”?!
He doesn’t even take the Four Emperors Kaido, who rules the New World, seriously and wants to confront him head-on!
Watching Luffy’s attitude of not taking the enemy seriously at all, Law sighed helplessly.
He reached out and pressed his throbbing forehead.
“Straw Hat Captain, this is no small matter.”
“This is the enemy’s base, not a playground where you can mess around.”
“To be foolproof, we still need some rigorous plans; we can’t just rush up and die without any preparation.”
As soon as these words were spoken, Kin’emon, who was on the side, nodded frantically in agreement, as if he had grabbed a life-saving straw.
Law took a simple map of Wano Country from his arms and spread it on the wooden table.
He used a pen to draw two clear attack routes on it, then raised his head and looked at Tatsuya solemnly:
“Crimson Lotus, the current known intelligence is really too little, which is very disadvantageous for us.”
“And one of the most important goals of our operation this time is that poneglyph in Kaido’s hands.”
Law paused and stated the strategy he had just conceived:
“In that case, why not have Straw Hat Captain cause some big commotion on the bright side to attract the firepower and attention of the Beasts Pirates.”
“Then, you can lead a small team of elites to sneak into the political center of Wano Country to find out the exact intelligence and find the whereabouts of the poneglyph.”
“If conditions permit, by the way…”
“Go and assassinate that Shogun Orochi to disintegrate their rule from the inside.”
Hearing this infiltration and assassination mission that was a nine-death-one-life situation and required deep penetration into the enemy’s hinterland, Kin’emon and the others present all gasped.
However, after hearing this, Tatsuya just smiled faintly.
He shook his head and refused the proposal to lead a team with a relaxed tone:
“The target is too big with people, and it’s easy to be exposed.”
“Since it’s infiltration and assassination, it’s better for me to go alone.”
“This is actually more convenient for me to perform.”
Law was stunned for a moment, then nodded in agreement.
The members of the Straw Hat Pirates naturally had no objection.
Everyone had been sailing together for so long that they had long known about Tatsuya’s unfathomable, powerful strength and absolutely reliable style of doing things.
Letting him sneak into the Flower Capital alone would definitely be much safer than bringing a group of people.
As Tatsuya’s dangerous mission was easily settled.
Law turned around, ready to continue discussing in detail with Luffy how they, who remained in Kuri, could “scientifically and effectively” attract the attention of the Beasts Pirates.
Just then, Tatsuya, who had been sitting quietly in place, suddenly let out a chuckle of unknown meaning.
He stood up slowly, his deep gaze sweeping over the direction where Kanjuro was hiding in the corner.
Tatsuya said with a smile:
“Let’s talk about the crusade plan later.”
“Before that…”
“In our team, there seems to be a more important matter that needs to be dealt with.”
