With a smile, Lord Zark carried Zay in his arms as he said, "They’re still so tiny. You can’t carry them now, okay?"

"But don’t worry. When they grow up a bit, you’ll be able to carry them as much as you want. Okay?" He smiled at Zay.

Zay slowly smiled back at him and nodded firmly. "Okay!"

Everyone was simply impressed by how close and connected the father and son were. They guessed Zark had already revealed this soft side of himself when it came to his little dragon.

They continued admiring the little ones all day long without getting bored.

Some went out and came back, while others simply stayed there without moving, determined to catch every glimpse of the little ones. Especially Ally and the other cubs, who seemed unwilling to miss a single moment with their new siblings.

They felt as though the little ones might disappear if they moved away, so they stayed without leaving at all. Their beast dads eventually had to drag them away for dinner because they had remained there until nightfall.

With them gone, some others stayed behind to keep an eye on the cubs while admiring them. Nyx, Rai and his peers, Zark, Vale, Klat, and Klatan had all come to stare at the little ones.

And just then, Commander Lynn made his way into the room as well to look at his little cubs. He was overly anxious and excited as he stepped inside.

"Oh, look who’s here," Lord Vale teased as Commander Lynn entered. "Here to see your little ones? Come and take a look. I guess they’ve been looking for you too."

Commander Lynn stepped forward and approached them. As his eyes fell on the twin cubs lying there, he couldn’t help but smile.

His eyes and heart melted at the sight of the two adorable little ones. And as soon as they caught sight of him, the two cubs instantly smiled even more, stretching out their tiny hands and legs toward him.

Klaten smiled at the scene. "I guess these little ones are smart. They even recognized their father at such a young age."

Klat nodded in agreement. "That’s impressive."

Commander Lynn made his way over and sat down close to where the cubs lay. He smiled as he stared down at them.

"I think they really look like you," Lord Vale said with a smile. "Congratulations on becoming a father. Now you’ll go through what we go through."

He sighed as the others smiled.

Commander Lynn stretched out his fingers toward them, and the two cubs instantly stretched their tiny hands toward his fingers, both smiling as they played with them.

"So cute," Klatan commented.

Klat looked around before asking, "What about Ayra? I haven’t seen her around. Is she still asleep?"

Lord Zark nodded. "Yes. She’s still asleep. I guess she really was so tired that she hasn’t gotten up yet."

He turned to Commander Lynn and asked, "What happened in there that she got so tired?"

"...."

Commander Lynn went mute.

He blinked, and the only thought that came to his mind was the events of the previous night.

The intense encounter between the two of them came rushing back to him. He couldn’t help but wonder if that was why Ayra was so exhausted that she still couldn’t wake up.

Nyx smiled. "It’s normal for females to get exhausted after delivering, especially since she delivered two cubs at the same time."

"Plus, she didn’t seem to be doing so well before the delivery. So she’ll get better after getting enough rest," Nyx explained.

They all nodded in agreement.

"Makes sense," Klat and Klatan agreed while Commander Lynn continued sitting there, playing with the little ones using his fingers.

Lord Vale smiled as he stared at Commander Lynn. "And you... You still haven’t told us why you collapsed like that earlier."

He teased, "What did you even see?"

At that moment, Commander Lynn froze.

His thoughts instantly drifted back to what had happened.

The memory alone was enough to make him flustered. Commander Lynn blinked in shock before his body suddenly gave out, and he fell to the floor, collapsing unconscious once again.

Silence filled the room as everyone stared at Commander Lynn, who had fallen to the floor again.

Even the twin cubs stopped smiling, staring at each other in confusion.

Lord Zark cleared his throat with a smile. "You should stop teasing him about that. I think he’s still recovering..."

Klat and Klatan nodded in agreement.

"Definitely still recovering," Nyx said. "I heard female delivery is so difficult and terrifying..."

Vale nodded. "It sure is. And I’m pretty sure he got to witness all of that. Poor him."

He smiled. "He’ll never forget it."

"If it traumatized him that much, imagine how much worse it is for the female who actually gives birth," Klat said with a sigh.

Everyone went quiet, thinking about it.

They slowly nodded while staring at Commander Lynn lying unconscious on the floor.

"We should take better care of Ayra," Lord Zark said. "Pamper her more."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

After that, Lord Vale looked down at Commander Lynn on the floor.

"I think we should take him back to get some rest..."

Klat and Klatan nodded.

"We certainly should."

Ayra finally woke up the next morning.

She had had such a long sleep that when she opened her eyes in her room that morning, she felt completely energized.

She felt like someone who had been sleeping all year long. Completely refreshed and happy, she didn’t even feel the pain of childbirth anymore, even though she clearly remembered giving birth.

She ran her hand over her stomach and muttered with a smile, "I guess the system handled that..."

She sighed as she lay there in bed, looking around and realizing that she was back in her room. There were no cubs around her.

"They must have taken them away..." she sighed as she slowly sat up. "I want to see the cubs too..."

She smiled excitedly.

"I wonder what the little ones look like."

And while she thought about it, the system suddenly beeped.

[Ding]

Ayra’s eyes lit up.

She guessed it was time for an update, and she was pretty excited about this particular update.
