CREAK!

The study door was pushed open, then closed with a sharp click.

Xu Qian was focused on the paper in front of her, writing something. When she heard the door close, she assumed it was her sister, Xu Yue. Without looking up, she asked casually, "Sis, what is it?"

But she was met with silence.

Xu Qian frowned slightly and slowly raised her head.

The moment she saw the man’s face, the casual expression on her own vanished, replaced by sheer, icy disgust.

"Get out!!"

Xu Qian stared at Yang Xun, her face a mask of ice, and snarled in a low voice.

Yang Xun ignored her demand. With his hands in his pockets and a thuggish smirk, he sauntered over to the desk. "Xu Qian," he said lightly, the corner of his mouth twitching upward, "I hope you’ll show me a little more respect in the future."

Xu Qian scoffed, her eyes filled with contempt. She tilted her chin up. "And what if I don’t?"

"Then I’ll have no choice but to take you down with me."

Yang Xun shrugged. His voice was quiet, but every word was a dagger. "I’ll tell everyone what happened between us that night. In full detail. I’ll make sure the whole of Zhonghai City knows what the second daughter of the Xu Family is really like."

"You wouldn’t dare!"

At his words, Xu Qian shot to her feet, sending her chair sliding back half a meter. Her eyes widened in fury. "You already took my two hundred thousand in hush money," she seethed through clenched teeth. "You dare say a word?!"

"So what?"

Yang Xun spread his hands, the picture of nonchalance. His tone was breezy. "Who says you can’t go back on your word just because you took the money?"

"Yang Xun!"

Xu Qian was trembling with rage, her chest heaving violently. She pointed a finger at his face. "If this gets out, you’ll be finished too! Your reputation will be in tatters!"

"I don’t care."

Yang Xun tilted his head, a careless smirk playing on his lips. His voice was lazy. "You said it yourself, didn’t you? I’m just a dog the Xu Family keeps. Useless, with nothing to my name. What kind of reputation does a dog have to lose? I don’t care about anything. Worst case, we both go down together. Who’s got more to lose?"

"You...!"

Xu Qian’s mouth opened, but no words came out. The finger she pointed at him trembled.

She was speechless.

Everything he said, while utterly shameless, was also completely irrefutable.

He was a live-in son-in-law; he already had no status or dignity to speak of in the Xu Family. To put it bluntly, he had nothing to lose.

But she was different.

She had her reputation to protect, her family’s honor to uphold, and far, far too much to lose.

If that incident ever came to light, she stood to lose a thousand times more than he ever could.

Silence filled the study. The warm glow of the desk lamp cast their two shadows on the wall. One stood perfectly still, the other trembled.

"...What do you want?"

After a long moment, Xu Qian finally deflated. Her voice was low, like a declawed cat, all her fight gone.

"Simple."

Yang Xun held up a single finger. "First," he said, his tone serious, "you’re going to start showing me some respect. I don’t expect you to call me ’brother-in-law,’ but at the very least, you’ll stop calling me a dog in public."

"Fine, I agree!"

Xu Qian gritted her teeth. After a moment’s hesitation, she gave a stiff, reluctant nod.

"Second," Yang Xun’s voice grew stern, his gaze boring into her. "What you said at dinner tonight was completely out of line. I want... an apology."

"...I’m sorry."

After a moment’s thought, Xu Qian slowly bowed her head. The two words were barely a whisper, squeezed from between her clenched teeth.

"Not good enough."

Yang Xun shook his head, his tone dripping with dissatisfaction. "That apology is completely insincere. You’re just going through the motions. I want to see some *real* sincerity."

HUFF! Xu Qian took a deep breath, forcing down the rage boiling in her chest. Her red-rimmed eyes stared straight at Yang Xun as she bit out each word. "Then tell me... what kind of sincerity do you require?"

Yang Xun didn’t answer right away.

He slowly circled the desk, stopping right in front of her. Looking down at her as she sat in the chair, his lips curved into a smirk. "Go down on me."

BOOM!

It was as if Xu Qian had been struck by lightning. Her mind went completely blank.

Her beautiful eyes went wide as she stared at Yang Xun in utter disbelief. Her lips trembled, certain she must have misheard. "What... what did you just say?" she stammered.

"You heard me. Don’t play dumb."

Yang Xun’s expression was unchanged, his tone perfectly calm.

"Never! Absolutely not!"

Xu Qian shook her head violently, her voice shrill with rage and humiliation. "In your dreams, Yang Xun! I would rather die than..."

"Fine then."

Yang Xun shrugged. "Suit yourself." He turned and headed for the door, adding casually, "I guess I’ll just tell the whole world what happened on that livestream, then. We’ll both go down in flames. No one gets out of this clean."

"Wait!"

Xu Qian’s voice was suddenly sharp with panic. She bit down hard on her lip, her fingers gripping the armrests of her chair until her knuckles turned white.

Yang Xun paused but didn’t turn around.

A long silence descended upon the study, broken only by the faint buzz of the desk lamp and the sound of Xu Qian’s increasingly ragged breaths.

"Fine... I’ll do it."

After what felt like an eternity, Xu Qian finally closed her eyes. Her voice was barely a whisper, her beautiful face a mask of utter despair.

’She’d caved. She’d actually caved to this worthless, live-in son-in-law!’

"See? If you’d just done this from the start, I wouldn’t have had to waste my breath."

A slow smile spread across Yang Xun’s face.

He turned, strode back to Xu Qian, and loomed over the woman who had once called him a dog and forced him to eat with the pets.

Then, he unbuckled his belt.

The instant his pants dropped, his massive cock sprang free like an unsheathed sword, slapping right against her pale, exquisite cheek.

SLAP!

The heavy impact on her cheek sent a shudder through her entire body. Tears of humiliation instantly welled in her eyes, but her expression twisted with an unconcealable hatred, as if she wanted to tear the man before her limb from limb.

Seeing this, Yang Xun only smiled. He loved seeing her like this: hating his guts but completely powerless to stop him.

’This feels absolutely incredible.’

His face was a mask of triumph. "Hurry up," he ordered. "Go down on your brother-in-law."

Brother-in-law...

That single word struck her like a sledgehammer to the chest. A tidal wave of humiliation, hot as lava, surged through her.

Her lips trembled and her eyes reddened as a single, silent tear traced a path down her cheek.

But in the end, she slowly parted her pale, lipstick-coated lips and, trembling, began to take him into her mouth...
