Orgasm Treatment
Chapter 306 - 304: Where Did This Feudal Remnant Come From?
Seeing Yang Xun approach, Sun Rao stood up and waved at him, her eyes sparkling.
"Ah Xun! I missed you so much. You never come to see me," she said plaintively, a trace of mist rising in her beautiful eyes.
A wave of guilt instantly welled up in Yang Xun’s heart. He said softly, "I’m sorry. I’ve been too busy lately and really couldn’t spare the time.
"You don’t have to go back this time. Just stay at my place. It’s just my younger sister and the neighbor, a mother and son, living there. It’s in the same residential complex as my marital home, so we’ll be able to see each other often."
Sun Rao was stunned for a moment before her eyes lit up. "Really? I can really stay at your place?"
"Yeah, I just need to let my sister know later. She has a great temper; you two should get along well," Yang Xun nodded. "Besides, I’m not really at ease with you living all alone in the suburbs."
Sun Rao nodded vigorously. "Then I’ll move in today!"
The two chatted as they ate, the atmosphere relaxed and light.
At that moment, a familiar voice drifted over from a short distance away. Yang Xun instinctively looked over.
A man and a woman were sitting diagonally across from them. The man wore a crisp suit with his tie meticulously knotted, but his face exuded an indescribable rigidity.
The woman had her back to Yang Xun, obscuring her face, but her slightly curly long hair and straight posture struck him as somewhat familiar. He looked for a couple more seconds and then recognized the figure.
Yue Feifei!
The man sitting opposite her was sitting bolt upright, babbling on as if reading out a list of terms and conditions.
"First of all, upon marrying into our family, rule number one: you are not allowed to continue working after marriage. The women of our family do not need to show their faces in public; staying at home to support your husband and raise the children is enough.
"Rule number two: you must minimize your social life. I will take you to gatherings with my friends, but I don’t want you having too much of your own social circle. Rule number three..."
As Yue Feifei listened, her expression turned icy. She picked up the water glass in front of her and took a sip, as if using the gesture to mask her rapidly snapping patience.
"And rule number four..."
The man seemed completely oblivious to the change in her expression and continued to spout his nonsense. "You must also pay attention to how you dress. I don’t mind you dressing nicely, but wearing skirts that are too short or heels that are too high is simply inappropriate in public. It easily invites gossip."
Yue Feifei finally set down her glass and raised her eyes to look at him. Her tone was calm, but the veins on the back of her hand were bulging slightly. "Are you done?"
The man was taken aback by her stare, clearly not expecting such a reaction. "What do you mean by that? I’m only doing this for your own good, afraid that you won’t be able to adapt to our family rules after you marry in—"
"Wait a minute." Yue Feifei cut him off with a cold sneer. "Today is our first time meeting. Who said I was going to marry you?"
"If you’re not going to marry me, what are you doing on a blind date?" The man looked bewildered, his brows furrowed so tightly they could crush a fly.
"Mr. Lin, I came for a blind date, not to interview for a housekeeper position. You’ve listed dozens of rules; I highly doubt any woman would be willing to put up with that."
The man’s face flushed with embarrassment, but he stubbornly pressed on. "The Lin Family is a family of scholars. Naturally, those who enter our doors must follow the rules. Let me tell you, there are plenty of women who want to marry me. I chose you out of so many candidates; it is your honor. You ought to be a little more sensible."
"Damn it! I’ve been putting up with you for far too long. Your whole family lacks sense!"
Yue Feifei completely lost her temper. She picked up the glass from the table, flicked her wrist, and splashed the half-glass of warm water directly into the man’s face.
Caught completely off guard, the man sat frozen for several seconds before reacting. His facade of feigned composure instantly shattered, and his lips trembled with fury. "You... what kind of upbringing do you have? I haven’t even complained about you showing your face in public yet, and you’re already turning hostile!"
"Mr. Lin, the Qing Dynasty is dead and gone! What kind of feudal remnant are you?" Yue Feifei stood up, looking down at him from above. "Go home and look in the mirror. You’re so ugly, and your family’s conditions are only average. How do you have the nerve to spout so many rules?
"If you’re looking for someone based on those criteria, you’ll never get a wife in this lifetime."
"You... you’re a woman with no upbringing! You’ll never get married!" Livid, the man’s face turned ashen as he lunged forward and grabbed Yue Feifei’s hand.
Seeing this, Yang Xun was about to get up to help, but the next second, Yue Feifei planted a swift kick squarely in the man’s crotch.
"AHH!"
The man let out a bloodcurdling scream, his body hunching over as cold sweat broke out from the excruciating pain.
Their argument had long since attracted the attention of the surrounding patrons. Seeing this scene, all the male onlookers gasped and instinctively clamped their legs together.
"Listen well. Even if I never marry in this lifetime, I would never settle for a weirdo like you!"
After saying that, Yue Feifei lifted her leg to kick him again. Terrified, the man hastily scrambled backward. His face shifted between pale and flushed before he finally gritted his teeth, straightened his posture, and spat viciously, "Don’t you regret this!"
He recovered for a moment, and not wanting to stay and be stared at like a circus animal, grabbed his suit jacket draped over the back of the chair and stumbled away.
Yue Feifei stood by the table, watching his back disappear through the doorway. She exhaled a long breath and reached for her bag on the table. Just as she was about to leave, she caught a glimpse of Yang Xun’s smiling face out of the corner of her eye.
She paused, asking in surprise, "Yang Xun? What are you doing here?"
"I brought a friend out for lunch. Just happened to catch your blind date." Yang Xun walked over, a teasing lilt in his tone. "That kick of yours just now was truly satisfying."
Yue Feifei’s cheeks flushed slightly at his words. She sighed helplessly. "Don’t even mention it. My mom has been rushing me so much; I don’t even know how many bizarre men I’ve met.
"You have no idea. The ones I’ve met lately just get more and more absurd.
"This one just now was also introduced by my mom. She told me, ’His family conditions are good, and he’s a decent man.’ But the moment he opened his mouth, he fired off over twenty family rules. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought his family was royalty!"
Seeing her exhausted demeanor, Yang Xun couldn’t help but chuckle. "So, what are you going to do now?"
"What else can I do? Go home and tell my mom that today’s blind date was another bust."
Yue Feifei sighed. Her gaze lingered on his face for a second before lighting up, as if she suddenly remembered something.
"Oh, right! Didn’t I ask you to pretend to be my boyfriend last time? I got so busy I completely forgot about it. There’s no time like the present—how about today?
"Come home with me for dinner. Let my mom know I have a boyfriend so she can stop setting me up on these ridiculous blind dates every day."
Yang Xun thought about it. He had indeed promised Yue Feifei last time, so he couldn’t go back on his word.
