Chapter 2236: Chapter 1122: Dragon Realm Legend (Part 2)

Earlier, Dorothy hadn’t thought much about it, merely assuming that Brave Dad had slain an ancient or ancient dragon, but now hearing the name Typhon and recalling the time of the Dragon God’s fall, emmmm....

Goodness, was Brave Dad really that fierce? Could he slay a Dragon God just like that?

The Homebody Witch couldn’t help but click her tongue in her heart. Although she knew Brave Adam was powerful, as he had fought the Original Sin Demon God his entire life, she never imagined he could be this fierce.

The Brave Adam she had met before was only at the peak level, which shouldn’t have been enough to slay a Dragon God. Could it be that Dad got stronger after I left?

Indeed, in the memories within the bow, Adam was already white-haired and frail, near his life’s end.

But don’t humans grow weaker as they age? Could it be that Adam reversed it, growing stronger as he aged?

Dorothy mused to herself in this way.

However, at this moment, Inspiration struck her as she remembered Adam’s unique soul.

Well, even though Adam stubbornly insisted all along that he was an ordinary human, he had a mysterious obsession with his mortal identity. But anyone who wasn’t blind could see that he was clearly anything but normal.

That so-called human identity was a restraint for Adam, and once that fragile human body was destroyed, the terrifying core hidden beneath the human skin would be unleashed.

If we consider this human body as some kind of seal, then the aging of the flesh indeed signifies the weakening of the seal, and once the seal weakens, something inside is bound to leak out.

"Ah, Dad, you’re really increasing the pressure on my future retirement plans."

Dorothy sarcastically commented in her heart.

"Senior, what is this legendary calamity you mentioned?"

Although the Homebody Witch had already guessed most of the truth, she still inquired with a surface-level curiosity.

Upon hearing the word ’Brave,’ the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior’s snake eyes suddenly contracted, and their massive skull trembled.

"No mistake, it’s the Brave, the weapon of Heroic Inheritance, there’s no mistake, no wonder Typhon fell, it must have been the legendary calamity."

The massive snake head shook with ground-shaking noise, but fortunately, everything soon calmed down, as if the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior finally calmed their emotions.

"The calamity I mentioned is actually an ancient legend within the Dragon Realm."

She began explaining it to the Witches.

"Legend has it, at the beginning of creation, the Creator God, having created the Western Universe, went on to create the original Three Clans—angels were His voice, demons were His minions, and dragons were His guardians."

"But one day, the lonely Creator God created the first human in His image. He doted on this human, and to celebrate its birth, the Creator God gathered the Three Clans and proudly declared that the weak human was His Son, destined to inherit His position and rule the Western Universe."

"These words angered the leaders of the Three Clans greatly. The Three Clans always prided themselves as the most perfect creations of the Creator God, yet now their pride was shattered by the great Creator God Himself."

"Thus, the most arrogant King of Angels, refusing to bow to the insignificant human, fell into the Abyss. He united with the ruler of the Abyssal Demons to rebel against the great Creator God, while the dragons, who should have protected the Creator God, chose silence."

"So it was that, during the rebellion, the Creator God, already weakened by the act of creation, fell. But before His demise, He left a final prophecy or curse."

"This deviant trajectory of the old world shall be destroyed, and the perfect man shall rebuild His realm upon its ruins."

"Since then, the number of humans began to expand terrifyingly. This weak race, resembling the Creator God but exceptionally frail, spread throughout the Western Universe. Soon after, the first Brave appeared."

"That calamity is the Creator God’s appointed Son, the first human, the progenitor—the true Perfect Man."

"He will inevitably fulfill the prophecy mentioned by the Creator God, achieving the great feats of destroying gods, slaying demons, and dragon slaying, ultimately purifying this filthy old world to establish his realm upon the ruins."

The Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior recounted this ancient legend, and the witches listened with furrowed brows.

"Come on, really? Is there a Creation God myth?"

Dorothy also felt this way, sarcastically.

The Witch Clan, being too young, naturally did not have such superstitious legends circulating, although some researchers, gone mad with their studies, promoted Spirit World origin theories, constantly shouting about Creator God, Creation God, end of the world, but their audience was never large.

However, she never expected such a legend to exist in the Dragon Realm of the established Three Calamities, with seemingly many believers, even among strong beings like the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior.

"Senior, even you as such a powerful being believe this? Many of these legends are deceptive."

Dorothy jested with a smile.

But the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior suddenly turned serious, nodding.

"I believe it. To be precise, most dragons believe it. After all, the calamity that emerges once every few hundred years is indeed real."

Of course, her seriousness only lasted for a moment, and then she reverted to her previous relaxed demeanor.

The Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior once again glanced enviously at the Hundred-Head Slayer in Dorothy’s hands.

"Curse it, I’m really envious of Typhon, to battle with that legendary calamity, he probably had a delightful death. For dragons, no death is more perfect than dying at the hands of a formidable enemy. I thought dying at his hands was an honor, but now Typhon won against me in life and in death too, it really irks me."

She seemed to be competing in a peculiar way.

Dorothy: "...."

Though she was already aware of cultural differences between races, she was nonetheless astonished by the dragons’ view on life and death.

Tsk, just what you’d expect from the legendary war-loving race of dragons, truly living by the mantra of fighting to the death.

As everyone was left speechless, the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior finally seemed to return to her senses, suddenly asking,

"Oh, right, what was it that you came here for? Grave robbing? Unfortunately, I’m not like those Radiant Dragons who love to hoard treasures, I’m super poor, you’ll leave empty-handed."

She sounded rather proud in her mature lady tone.

When Dorothy heard this, she too snapped out of her chaotic emotions, recalling her original intention.

"Well, if you insist on saying grave robbing, that’s not entirely wrong. But we didn’t come for treasures, rather for you, Senior."

She scratched her face, speaking a bit awkwardly.

Tsk, they originally came for the legacy of the Serpent Emperor Dragon, but who could have guessed this senior was not truly dead and still had lingering consciousness, making things a bit awkward now.

"Uh, for me?"

Hearing Dorothy’s words, the Serpent Emperor Dragon quickly became serious, her massive eyes fixed on Dorothy intently.

Just as Dorothy felt a bit guilty being stared at, thinking it might be better to leave and come back when this senior is truly gone, the Serpent Emperor Dragon Senior suddenly laughed.

"Hahaha, alright, alright, you have good vision, little one. It’s true, I myself am the greatest treasure here. Tell me, what do you want? Dragon Bone, Dragon Scale, or Dragon Sinew and Dragon Blood? Since I’m dead, these things are of no use; except for these eyes, you can have the rest."

The Dragon Roar echoed throughout the valley, she seemed genuinely pleased.

However, the Homebody Witch was even more embarrassed.

"Uh, I actually came for the eyes."

She scratched her head, speaking softly.

So, the Serpent Emperor Dragon’s laughter abruptly stopped.
