Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 1350 - 1352: Unable to Stop Herself from Being Jealous
"Miss Cecilia Branford. Our young master has gone on a business trip."
"Business trip?!" Sophie Sullivan frowned deeply, Liam Donald could have chosen any time to go on a business trip, but he chose now.
Is everyone conspiring against her?
The butler noticed Sophie Sullivan’s rising anger and immediately soothed her, "Miss Cecilia Branford, please calm down. Our young master will return the day after tomorrow at the latest. So, you see... could you come back then?"
"Where did Liam go on a business trip?" Sophie Sullivan angrily kicked the ground with her toe.
"The young master went on a business trip to Country S; he’s already been there for several days and is expected back the day after tomorrow. So, you see... should I arrange for the young master to visit you then?"
The butler had already explained this much. If Sophie Sullivan continued to make a fuss, Liam Donald wouldn’t suddenly appear before her immediately.
Nodding, Sophie Sullivan called out to Gaby, "Gaby, let’s go."
Gaby joined Sophie Sullivan in the car, and the Rolls-Royce fleet gradually drove away.
Leaving Walton Manor, she spotted the familiar Lincoln convoy still parked outside the door, which made her angry, "Shameless."
Just then, the Lincoln car window rolled down, revealing a man with a dazzlingly handsome face.
His pitch-black eyes looked over, seemingly penetrating the glass and directly gazing at her.
Sophie Sullivan quickly looked away, muttering, "Maniac."
"Young Master." Charlie River’s voice carried a hint of laughter, as if it was difficult to suppress.
Thomas Shannon glanced at him, "Speak."
"We just received word that Liam is on a business trip in Country S; the young madam came all this way for nothing." The young master’s luck is incredibly good!
If things continue like this, is the day the young madam forgives him far off?
Thomas Shannon hooked his lips into a smile; he didn’t expect Liam to be absent, it seemed even the heavens were helping him.
"Follow her."
Thomas Shannon gestured for the man in black to quickly follow Sophie Sullivan’s fleet.
How should he go about earning her forgiveness?
Country A.
Raina Bell had moved away from the manor, and Cheryl Chew spent most of her time at the suburban Villa.
Mrs. Shannon missed her, so she often went to the suburban Villa, making it a daily routine.
Today was the weekend, and Cheryl Chew didn’t have to teach at A University.
She took out the flower tea she had dried these past days and eagerly said, "Godmother, this is the flower tea I picked and dried myself. I’ll brew a pot for you to taste."
"Great, anything made by my Cheryl will surely taste wonderful."
Cheryl Chew blushed from the praise, "Godmother, you’re praising me too much, you haven’t even tasted it yet."
Raina Bell smiled as she watched the two and chimed in at the right moment, "Auntie, you come here every day; won’t Thomas get upset?"
Mrs. Shannon looked at Cheryl Chew making tea with a smile, "Lincoln isn’t here right now, and even if he were, he wouldn’t be upset. My Cheryl is here, of course, I want to visit her, why would he be upset?"
Mrs. Shannon’s every word revolved around Cheryl Chew, her preference was clear.
Raina Bell felt as if something stabbed her heart, causing her immense discomfort.
She understood this was jealousy.
Without comparison, there’s no hurt; with comparison, she could clearly see the difference in status between herself and Cheryl Chew.
The clearer it became, the more she couldn’t control her jealousy.
"That’s good..." Raina Bell smiled, lowering her eyelids perfectly to conceal the flash of malicious light.
