Pampered by My Secret Husband

Chapter 1478 - 1480: Is This How You Raise a Child?

  • Next Chapter

Thomas Shannon didn’t say anything, and William Westlake’s soft body leaned over, "Daddy, hug~"

Thomas Shannon lowered his eyes, looking at the little fellow who seemed half asleep, sighed almost inaudibly, and carried him into the bath chamber.

After using the toilet, William Westlake clung to Thomas Shannon, lying on his chest, sleeping with a rosy little face.

Thomas Shannon gently lifted a strand of his black hair, unbelievably soft, and chuckled, "You’re not the least bit shy."

More than just not being shy, he is utterly at ease!

Calling ’Daddy’ so cheerfully, even Snowball, his Elder Sister, wasn’t as adaptable as him.

...

The next day.

Sophie Sullivan felt her cheek being pinched, not hard, like a little pinch from an ant.

She slowly opened her eyes to see an enlarged Little Bun’s face in front of her.

Her mood lifted instantly, and she reached out to embrace Snowball, "Little Treasure, good morning!"

With eyes closed, she gave her a peck on her soft, plump cheek.

Snowball withdrew the hand that had pinched her cheek, pursing her little mouth, her small childish voice cute, "Good morning, Mum."

Sophie Sullivan, holding Snowball, sat up, "Should we be washing up now?"

"Mm."

"And then?"

"Have breakfast."

"And then?"

And then?

Snowball tilted her little head, thought for a moment, "Go to work with Dad."

Sophie Sullivan’s smile froze, that Thomas Shannon, taking Snowball to the company?

How could that be!

If he took Snowball along, wouldn’t she have much less time with her?

No way!

She couldn’t let him take Snowball away!

Sophie Sullivan’s brain started storming, while she calmly and composedly brought Snowball to wash up.

Thomas Shannon had high standards for Snowball, doting as he was, he required her to keep a regular schedule, especially making sure to eat breakfast on time.

Snowball was picky, but not so spoiled as to refuse all food.

Even if she didn’t like the breakfast, under Thomas Shannon’s watchful eyes, she obediently drank her milk and ate fried eggs.

Ensuring her daily nutrition was up to par.

William Westlake was different; Sophie Sullivan was very much a free-range parent, and William was discerning and picky, throwing a fuss when upset, no one could coax him, if he said he wouldn’t eat, he wouldn’t take a bite.

Sophie Sullivan understood, after all, she didn’t want to force him either.

If he didn’t want to eat now, it was okay, he’d look for food himself when hungry.

So, at the dining table, William, looking at the full table of Country A-style breakfast, rested his face on his palms with a troubled look, "Fennie, William doesn’t want to eat."

"Alright, then eat when you’re hungry." Sophie Sullivan didn’t care at all, nor did she try to coax or persuade him.

Thomas Shannon’s bright brows furrowed with disapproval, he curled his index finger, tapping the table gently, "I say, is this how you educate the child?"

Sophie Sullivan indifferently glanced at him.

"Look at what? I’m talking about you." Thomas Shannon was extremely dissatisfied, how could it be proper for a child this young not to have breakfast?!

Sophie Sullivan put down her chopsticks, looking dissatisfied, "Did you eat explosives or something?"

Seeing the two about to argue again, Mrs. Shannon immediately spoke up, "Okay, Lincoln, say less. William, tell grandma, what do you like to eat? It’s grandma’s fault, I forgot to ask what William likes to eat, so breakfast wasn’t prepared with the food you love. William, don’t be mad at grandma, okay?"

Mrs. Shannon’s gentle words were like a spring breeze, William shook his head slightly, "William doesn’t want to eat anything."

That drowsy look, clearly still wanting to sleep.
