Chapter 275: Dealing with the Business Partners
'No, he absolutely cannot allow the shares of the Mingyue Group to continue depreciating like this.'
"Boss, our company is in a serious crisis. You have to think of something, quickly," his secretary said anxiously to Chen Qingdi.
Of course, Chen Qingdi knew this. He was desperately trying to come up with a way to save the company; otherwise, the Mingyue Group would be finished sooner or later. But no matter how hard he thought, he still couldn't find a viable solution.
As the Mingyue Group's crisis grew more severe, beads of sweat dotted Chen Qingdi's forehead. He clenched his fists tightly, his eyes blazing with intense anger.
This move from the Xiaoye Clan was too vicious. They were using the Mingyue Group's stock to threaten him, forcing him to accept humiliating terms. This infuriated Chen Qingdi.
"Xiaoye Erfu, do you really want this to be a fight to the death?!"
Inside the Xiaoye Clan's corporate headquarters.
Xiaoye Erfu sat in his chair, a cruel smile playing on his lips as he watched Chen Qingdi on the screen. He was gloating inwardly. 'Chen Qingdi, let's see how long you can last.'
The Mingyue Group had recently fallen into an unprecedented crisis. The Xiaoye Financial Group, their longtime business rival, had launched an aggressive campaign to poach their partners. This move had thrown the already fragile business environment into even greater turmoil.
Chen Qingdi, the new chairman of the Mingyue Group, stood before the floor-to-ceiling windows, the bustling city reflected in his eyes.
His expression had never been so grim. He knew, deep down, that this crisis threatened the very survival of the Mingyue Group.
At the office door, three key figures—Chen Yuan, Dong Kui, and Miao Lang—waited quietly. Their eyes were filled with a mixture of anxiety and expectation.
Chen Yuan was the first to speak. "Boss, we can't let the Xiaoye Clan carry on like this. We have to take action." His voice was firm and cold, as if he already had a solution in mind.
"I've already said we can't do that," Dong Kui immediately retorted. He was a man of principle and would not accept any morally questionable actions.
"So we're just supposed to stand by and watch the Xiaoye Clan poach our partners?" Dissatisfaction dripped from Chen Yuan's tone.
"We have our own methods. The most important thing right now is to stabilize our relationships with our partners," Miao Lang interjected. He was a thoughtful man who could always offer constructive advice at critical moments.
Chen Qingdi said nothing, only watching them in silence. He knew in his heart that this crisis had plunged the Mingyue Group into unprecedented difficulties.
Their argument was just a microcosm of the predicament. He needed to find a solution—one that could save the company without compromising his morals.
"All right, everyone calm down." Chen Qingdi's profound gaze swept over the three men. "I understand your concerns, but the most important thing now is to find a solution."
A flicker of displeasure crossed Chen Yuan's brow, but it was quickly replaced by determination. "We need to take action. We can't let the Xiaoye Clan get their way."
"I agree with Chen Yuan." Dong Kui's expression also grew serious. "We can't just sit back and do nothing, or the company will suffer even greater losses."
Miao Lang, however, remained calm, not rushing to voice his own opinion. "I trust the Boss's decision. For now, the most important thing is to shore up our partners' confidence."
Chen Qingdi looked at them, a complex mix of emotions welling up inside him. He understood their worries and was grateful for their loyalty.
But he knew that any decision could have unforeseen consequences. Therefore, he needed to think more deeply.
"All right, that's enough for today's meeting." Chen Qingdi made his decision. "I will think this over carefully before making a final call. In the meantime, everyone stay calm and focus on reassuring our partners."
The three men nodded in understanding and left the office one by one. Watching their retreating figures, Chen Qingdi felt an indescribable emotion swell within him.
He knew this decision concerned not only his own fate but the fate of the entire company. He needed to find the best possible solution.
Night fell, and the city lights illuminated every corner. Chen Qingdi sat alone in his office, his eyes glittering with a determined light. He knew this crisis was just another trial on the Mingyue Group's path to growth.
He had to find a way for the Mingyue Group to overcome this ordeal.
Time slipped by as he pondered, and gradually, a plan began to form in Chen Qingdi's mind. He knew it was risky, but he believed it was the best option they had at the moment.
He decided to engage the Xiaoye Clan in one final showdown.
At the Mingyue Group headquarters, Chairman Chen Qingdi sat in his office with a profound look in his eyes. He toyed with an exquisite fountain pen, his face a mask of deep thought.
"Chairman, Miao Lang is here to see you," his secretary's voice sounded from the doorway.
"Send him in." Chen Qingdi looked up to see Miao Lang enter the office with a serious expression.
"Chairman, something's not right with the Xiaoye Group lately. Our informant discovered they've been frequently contacting some tycoons from the Outer Island, apparently seeking support," Miao Lang began.
Chen Qingdi's eyes sharpened. His struggle with the Xiaoye Clan wasn't new. Although he had maintained the upper hand, the Xiaoye Clan's strength was not to be underestimated.
"You've done well, Miao Lang. Continue to monitor their movements closely. Report anything you find to me immediately." Chen Qingdi stood up and walked to the window, gazing out at the bustling city below.
Time passed quickly, and several weeks went by. Chen Qingdi's confidant, Miao Lang, kept a close watch on the Xiaoye Clan's activities.
"Chairman, the tycoons from the Outer Island are starting to express their dissatisfaction with the Xiaoye Clan's actions," Miao Lang reported, walking into the office.
Chen Qingdi frowned. "Dissatisfaction? Do they think the conflict between us will cause bigger problems?"
"Yes. They believe the Xiaoye Clan's actions are too risky. Some of the Outer Island tycoons have even started calling you, expressing their willingness to mend relations," Miao Lang replied.
Chen Qingdi smiled. This was exactly the outcome he had been hoping for. He had always known that to completely defeat the Xiaoye Clan, his own strength would not be enough. He needed the support of those lofty tycoons.
Chen Qingdi began to proactively communicate with his former partners, mending the relationships that had been fractured by the conflict.
His actions were met with a positive response. Many of the previously neutral tycoons began to express their willingness to help him. At the same time, Chen Qingdi also implemented a series of measures to strengthen the company's internal management.
