Pervert for Life
Chapter 121: hell to pay
The unnamed afternoon stayed unnamed until the light thinned and she closed the book on a sentence that did not need finishing.
Evelyn set the boat book aside, looked at me with her feet still in my lap, and said, "Evening gets a name. Dark. I want the dark again. No lamp. We find each other. Slow. Then sleep. Morning can be the step if you want the step, or the chair, or nothing. I’m not deciding the morning in advance. Just the dark. Come to bed when you’re ready. I’ll already be there with the light off."
I came to bed. The light was off. I found her by heat. She guided me in, warm and easy, and we moved slow in the black. She came once, a soft clench and a breath against my neck. I came inside her. We stayed tangled until sleep took the decision away. No second round. The dark did what she asked.
Morning brought the champion mug refilled and her sitting naked on the counter, waiting. "Your pick," she said. "Step, chair, table, mat, bed, or the quiet. I’m listening."
"Step," I said. "You ride. Then quiet."
She led me to the middle step. I sat. She sank down, tight angle, and rode slow until she came and I filled her. We stayed until the wood complained. Then the quiet. It held through coffee, through a short walk that bought nothing, through her reading a Chapter with her feet in my lap and not climbing on. When the Chapter ended she marked it, looked at me, and said the quiet could break if I wanted. I wanted the bed. She lay back. I went over her. Slow. She came. I came inside her. We napped. The fern lived. The retired mug stayed retired. Evening skipped. She called the skip fair and slept with her hand on my chest.
The next stretch started with her naming the table on her stomach before I could pick. "My turn," she said. "Then you get the one after. Balance." She lay across the table. I pushed in, deep and odd. She came into her arms. I filled her. Then my turn: the chair, facing me. She rode. Came. I came inside her. Walk after, no tax. Back to nothing for the rest of the day on purpose. Book. Feet. The champion mug between us at some point, coffee gone cold, neither of us moving to fix it. She closed the book near dark and said the dark was available again if we wanted it. We wanted it. Found each other. Slow. Finish. Sleep. The house stayed only ours, the hours stacking without a speech, the unnamed things staying quiet because the named ones had been enough.
The dark round lasted longer than the finding. Once I was inside her she kept me there with her legs and asked for almost no movement at first, just the fullness and the black and her hand on my back. When she finally let me move it was in short, deep rocks that built her come slowly. She bit my shoulder lightly when it hit, not hard, and stayed clenched until I followed, spilling into her while she sighed. We did not separate until I softened on my own. She slept first. I listened to the house and then slept too.
Morning’s step ride was the opposite of rushed. She sank down, settled, and rolled her hips in a circle that took its time, pausing to kiss me, starting again, talking once about the door still needing paint and losing the thought when she clenched. Her first come was quiet and long. She kept going for the second, faster at the end, and only then pulled me in to finish. The leak on the step was left for later. The quiet that followed included actual toast and the champion mug and her pointing out that the retired mug looked lonely and then deciding it could stay lonely. The walk bought air and a look at a dog that barked once and gave up. Her Chapter on the couch was read aloud in pieces. She did not sink onto me until she had finished the page she was on. The bed round after was facing, slow, her eyes open, one come, finish inside, nap that ran long enough for the light to change.
Her turn on the table the next day included her asking me to stay deep and not rush the odd angle. I stayed deep. She came with her hands fisted and her voice muffled. I finished and we lay across the wood until her ribs complained. My turn on the chair was brighter. She rode facing me, smiled when she got close, came with her forehead on mine, and let me come inside her while she held the back of the chair for balance. The nothing afternoon was real. She read. I sat. The cold coffee stayed cold. The dark at the end was wanted and given, slow and wordless, finish and sleep.
She woke near dawn, felt the option, and chose not to take it. "Stack’s good," she said into the pillow. "Don’t add. Morning will still be there." It was. She poured the champion, handed it over, and waited naked at the counter for the first word of the new stretch, the retired mug still benched, the fern still alive, the stairs and the chair and the table and the mat and the bed all available and none of them demanded yet. The house stayed only ours. She took a sip from the mug in my hand, gave it back, and said, "Whenever you’re ready. I’m not starting the clock."
I was ready after the sip. "Mat," I said. "Then quiet. No clock."
She lay back on the entry mat in the morning light through the glass. I went over her. We moved slow until she came looking up at me, then less slow until I came inside her. We stayed. The quiet after included the champion mug refilled, a Chapter she did not finish, and her feet in my lap for an hour that asked nothing. When the hour ended she closed the book, kissed me, and said the bed could wait until evening. It waited. Evening was facing, slow, one come, finish, sleep. Night skipped clean. Morning brought her naming the step again because she felt like the angle. We did it. She rode. Came twice. I filled her. Then nothing. The retired mug stayed retired. The fern got water and no speech. She marked a page, looked at me, and let the rest of the day stay unnamed on purpose. The house agreed. We slept when the light went, the long and the short both possible, neither required to announce itself.
