" I also appreciate what you bought yesterday, it was really a signature food"

’ oh that’s true, I got three yesterday which was supposed to be for both of us and one for Helen. But I had a change of mind knowing that she didn’t stay alone and just gave her my own food’

" You’re welcome, I’m glad you both enjoyed it"

" Save to say that gave her instant healing, she has not yet stopped talking about it"

" Is she close by"

" Nope, she went to take her bath"

" Alright, please make sure you look after her today" I said I’m a pleading time

" I will, I’m even glad she’s off today, she’s definitely having enough time to rest well"

" Alright see you later today" as she hung up the call.

I felt much relieved hearing that Joan was doing just fine now and has even eaten. Another load of heaviness melted in my heart

I felt much happier and looked for a better action movie animation to keep my resting day up tight and interesting.

The first spoon came in contact with my mouth, it sent a mind blowing sensation in my body. This has to be Helen’s version of her signature meal

For crying out loud what is this heavenly food I’m having in my mouth, the soup was just spicy enough and the chicken was just well cooked.

’ I really love this girl she’s really the best there ever is’

" I will marry you Helen " I said out loud to the air as if I was talking to somebody. But just letting my heart out

The animation I finally rested on was a Chinese animation — Ne Zha.

I had watched a trailer earlier before on the release. But I didn’t follow up to know if it had been released but now seeing it came like a shock

It started off as something that’ll have you glued to your chair so I paused the movie and went to ease myself, and carried water on the way. I didn’t want to stand up to get any other thing

I checked my phone for any pressing or newer messages from the ones I had previously snubbed

Venice texted Letting me know that Serena will be going back on Thursday. That’s two days from today

I replied that I’ll get back to her today. I needed to understand my movements tomorrow to know if I’ll be chanced to go there or just leave it for Thursday

I promised Serena that I’ll stay longer, I need to be very sure I fulfill the promise

A few other business messages caught up my time, after I was done in about forty five minutes. I dropped my phone and continued the movie

My food has gotten cold, ’ I’ll just manage it like that. it’ s not like I plan to stand up to reheat it. I ate alongside watching the movie

My eyes glued to the screen for more than an hour before being interrupted by a call from Alex — my second sister (leah) husband

" Hello Alex"

" Denverrrrrr" he said

" How are you doing today?"

" I’m just fine, you’re still coming right?" I asked wanting to wrap up the call and feed my curiosity from the cliffhanger in the movie

" Yeah, that’s why I called, I’ll be there in two hours time" he said

" Sure thing, see you then"

" byeeee" he said and immediately I hung up and continued the movie

Just like I anticipated, it ended in a cliffhanger indicating that they’ll definitely be a part 2

’ I bet he’ll definitely be able to control this magic spell that was put on him to tame him’

The film ended, but I was not fully satisfied, I needed more of the movie

’ oh yeah, I need to call Helen and update her about her uncle that will be here soon’

I dialed her number and placed it on a loud speaker, I stared at her name while the phone made a ringing noise

" Sweetheart " I called out in a more romantic tone

" Yes Denver, how are you feeling this morning" she asked politely

" Yes I’m fine, very fine than yesterday"

" That’s good to know, sorry I left the house without telling you, I just couldn’t bring myself to wake you up"

" Thank you, and for your signature meal, this is one of the best I’ve tasted" I said

Making Helen laugh out loud on the phone, I could tell she was already blushing from what I had just said

" I’m glad you enjoyed it"

" How are things going over there?"

" It’s going just fine"

" That’s good. My house is shining just the way you shine in my heart"

" Denver please stop, you know I’m in public, I don’t want people to think that I’m mad"

" It’s true but, your uncle Alex will be here in 2 hours time, I hope you’ll be able to be here on time and meet him"

" Yes, I didn’t even get anything for him"

" He’s definitely going to eat your signature meal, I think that’s more than enough"

Helen laughed out a bit, I could tell how very excited she was about the call

" Stop it "

" But if you still want to get something, you still have one of my credit cards. You can use it to get whatever you want for him"

I hadn’t even checked for long if it was low on airtime so I can credit it back up.

" Thank you Denver, let me tell Milliana I’ll be going. She’ll definitely not be happy about this. Because now she’ll have to go home alone "

" Sorry about that"

" I’ll be expecting you then, see you soon sweetheart "

" Byeeee" I hung up the call.

I smiled as the sound of Helen laughter kept replaying in my head, I could tell that she really enjoyed the call. We hadn’t talked for today so it wasn’t bad to experience that call

I returned some business related messages and replied to a minimum amount of pending messages

It’s been a while since I heard from my youngest sister. I have three sisters Olivia, Leah and Emily. They’re all married with beautiful daughters. Leah is the only sister who has a male child still very young and also the only sister with no twin birth

I scrolled down and opened our chat, I dropped a message indicating she was online and called her right away
