Chapter 1113 War and Divine Medicine (2)

Dai Li was very good at providing emotional value, giving her husband a thumbs-up directly: "Impressive!"

Li Zhongda was still a bit emotional: "There wasn’t any sign beforehand, and suddenly it’s about to start. I originally thought Carmenia would exist for many more years."

Dai Li echoed: "Yes, such a huge country, and suddenly it’s ending just like that, truly incredible."

On the television.

Yang Fan looked at Eduardo and said, "Let’s have Eduardo announce a few important things below."

Eduardo didn’t speak immediately but took a deep breath, clearly what he was about to say was very important.

He then slowly said: "The Federation leadership considers me a traitor and has unilaterally dismissed me from my position.

"But I believe the Federation leadership are the real traitors, their decisions hold no legal weight. I am still the leader chosen by the Carmenians.

"At this moment, in the presence of Mr. Spirit Crows and also in the presence of the entire world, I announce two things here.

"First, as the commander of the Federation Army, I order every soldier of the Federation to immediately and unconditionally surrender to Great Xia and the Pioneer Alliance.

"I am issuing this order with the hope of preserving more soldiers’ lives, because given the Federation’s strength, it can’t possibly resist the entire world, so the Federation is destined to lose this war.

"Second, in view of the heinous crimes committed by the Federation, I believe such a country has betrayed the original intent of the pioneers in establishing the Federation, and it no longer has any reason to exist.

"Therefore, I hereby declare that the sixty-eight states comprising the Federation shall immediately dissolve, each state can establish its own independent nation or seek other paths."

Eduardo, feeling deeply moved, added, "Perhaps as the last leader of the Federation, to personally end the Federation that has existed for three hundred years, is my historical mission."

He nodded one last time: "Thank you, Mr. Spirit Crows, that’s all I have to say."

Dai Li was completely stunned.

No one expected that the Federation would already "cease to exist" before the war even officially started.

Such a thing was indeed a bit comical.

Li Zhongda exclaimed, "Wow, Eduardo is really ruthless!"

Dai Li, not very sensitive to this, asked: "Why?"

Li Zhongda explained: "What Eduardo just said utterly dismantles the foundation of Carmenia’s existence as a country from a legal standpoint.

"From now on, within the Federation, any state, as long as the governor has a bit of ambition, can declare the state as an independent country.

"In the past, whoever dared to do such a thing wouldn’t see the light of the next day. But now, it’s different."

Dai Li said "Oh" in response: "That makes sense."

Li Zhongda analyzed deeper: "From the perspective of this war, Eduardo’s sudden move has already dispersed the hearts of the Carmenians, and many Carmenians might not have strong resistance. The war should end faster than expected."

He emphasized: "Whoever came up with this move is really impressive, there are masterminds within Great Xia!"

Dai Li blinked her eyes: "Eduardo was born and raised Carmenian, he should have deep feelings for the Federation, why would he dismantle it?"

Li Zhongda laughed: "The reason is simple, Eduardo has no choice. The reason he escaped from the Federation is probably because he couldn’t stay there any longer, staying would only lead to death.

"Now that Eduardo is within the territory controlled by Great Xia, to avoid a complete reckoning and to survive, he could only make an exchange with Great Xia."

Dai Li was thoughtful: "I see."

Li Zhongda glanced at the Carmenians on the television screen and said: "He’s a very selfish guy, for what Carmenia has become, he bears considerable responsibility."

He laughed again: "But for Great Xia people, Eduardo is our good friend."

Dai Li couldn’t help but laugh.

Li Zhongda suddenly felt a bit dazed.

He used to be proud of studying abroad in Carmenia, often boasting, "Back in the days when I was in the Federation..."

Who would have thought that one day, the Federation leader would stand trial in Great Xia, and the Federation would disintegrate into nothing, making his past study experiences sound like a joke.

More and more, Li Zhongda felt that as long as you were born in Great Xia, you’ve already won at life.

One Great Xia National ID card is better than what many people in other countries strive for their whole lives.

He himself was a typical example.

Unemployed in middle age and divorced, in the eyes of ordinary people, he’s a failure.

But thanks to his Great Xia National ID, he married a wife ten-plus years younger who is quite attractive.

Not only did he ride the waves with a tall beauty, it seems he’s about to see new growth in old trees.

Not long after.

The breaking news ended.

Li Zhongda turned to look at his wife’s pretty face, feeling a sudden stir in his heart.

He glanced at his wife’s belly, finally suppressing his impulses.

Dai Li was very perceptive, immediately noticing her husband had some thoughts. She smiled and asked, "Are you thinking about it?"

Li Zhongda shook his head: "Forget it, to avoid causing trouble, I’ll just hold back."

Dai Li smiled charmingly: "You’re still a Great Xia person, surprisingly unaware of certain things about Great Xia, just go ahead, there will definitely be no trouble."

Li Zhongda was a bit confused: "What things?"

Dai Li explained the reason: "Last month, after I was diagnosed with pregnancy, the community hospital provided me with a special Type 1 Yuan Stabilizing Potion for pregnant women to take.
