Chapter 1037: Chapter 150: Crumbling Collapse (Part 2)

"In the name of Violet! For glory!" Another Hesse Knight witnessed his companion’s tragic death and roared, riding through the water toward the successful Green Knight. His lance shattered in the collision, and he drew his sword without hesitation, striking fiercely at the seam between the other’s helmet and shoulder armor! Sparks flew, the corroded bronze split open with a crack, and a stream of eerie blue soul fire burst forth! The Green Knight’s movement halted momentarily, as the Knight seized the opportunity to swing his sword again, knocking off the helmet along with part of the skull. The soul fire finally extinguished, and the Bronze Knight slowly fell. But the Knight had no time to catch his breath, as a heavy bronze flail hurtled toward him from the side, striking viciously at his back. The fine plate armor was instantly deformed and dented, and the Knight spewed blood mixed with shattered viscera from his mouth. Although the Steel Fierce Sun’s rune exploded instantly, blowing the opponent to pieces, the fallen Knight still sank to the bottom along with his mount.

Ogre Purse Leader, "Bone Breaker" Groom, became the most violent presence on the battlefield. Each swing of his massive wolf-toothed stick brought with it a bloody storm and waves of water. "Boom!" With a muffled sound, a Green Knight along with his horse was smashed deep into the water by him, mud surging, bronze armor twisted and deformed, soul fire extinguishing in an instant. Another Green Knight attempted to pierce his thick leather armor with a long lance, only to have Groom’s fan-like hand grab hold of the lance shaft! The Ogre let out an earth-shaking roar, muscles bulging on his arms, and astonishingly pulled the Bronze Knight along with the lance off the skeleton horse! He swung this heavy "human weapon," smashing it fiercely against another charging Green Knight nearby, the two collided with a painful metal screech, both sinking into the bloody water.

"So satisfying! Groom loves smashing bones!" The Ogre leader wiped the blood and mud splashed on his face, laughing wildly as he rushed toward his next target. His ferocity temporarily halted the Green Knights’ assault on the flank, but also drew more undead attacks.

On the edge of Blue Mirror Castle’s highlands, Knight Edgar half-kneeled on the ground, using his battered body to protect the dying Baron Grant. An arrow pierced through his shoulder armor, blood flowing down his arm guards, dripping onto the baron’s pale face.

Baron Grant was feverishly watching the Heroic Spirit Knight Order he had summoned with life and sacrifice rampaging across the battlefield, eyes fixed on Hesse soldiers falling, the lake water turning red, lips curled in a twisted but satisfied smile: "Kill... kill them all... let them... sink to the bottom... for burial..."

The massacre on the water’s surface was soaked in blood and death every second. The Hesse Legion, with unyielding will and flesh, built a dam to resist the undead flood, paying a tremendous price. And the Green Knights, treading on the corpses of both enemies and allies, silently, step by step leaving bloody footprints, unwavering in advancing toward the core of the Hesse Legion, toward the command center protected by the Water Repelling Pearl. The steps of the dead, heavy and unstoppable, the shadow of death pressed ever lower amid the roaring and surging of water walls.

In the air, Su Li coldly watched the battlefield below, like a giant grinding disc shredding lives. The Green Knights’ ferocity and the Hesse Legion’s resilience were within his expectations. He saw the Dwarf Shield Wall under strain, saw the Knights fighting bloodily in the water, saw war machines roaring, and saw the Green Knights’ silent and determined advance.

"It’s time." Su Li whispered. The Phoenix Wing Talisman in his hand suddenly erupted with dazzling golden light! Violent wind elements began to converge around him, stirring the sticky air brought by the apocalyptic water walls on both sides. The sky instantly grew darker, thick clouds rapidly spinning above the dome of Water Repelling Pearl, forming a massive vortex, mirroring the death vortex in the lake below.

Terrifying thunderlight birthed and leapt within the clouds, a deep wind howl like the roar of a beast drowned out all battlefield noise! A mightier and purer divine aura than the battlefield below began to envelop the entire Blue Mirror Lake!

In the next moment, a catastrophic storm descended!

A wild hurricane, impregnated with divine will, like a golden giant dragon descending from the heavens, swept toward the entire lake battlefield.

Heaven’s wrath like a prison: defiance is guilt!

The hurricane first fiercely struck the apocalyptic water walls still raging on both sides! The turbid waves, imbued with Manan’s divine power and aura of death, upon contacting the divine hurricane, were like being struck and compressed by an invisible giant hand! The wave crests were forcibly lowered, scattered, countless twisted wailing water-shaped faces shrieking as they dissolved under the impact of the divine storm! The power of the water walls was forcibly restrained, although still present, their destructive advance force and height were significantly suppressed.

However, the true heavenly wrath fell upon the Green Knights.

This hurricane did not blow evenly, it carried intense divine judgment.

Defiers, punished by heaven! Those still facing the storm direction (i.e., Hesse Array direction), raising ancient weapons high, carrying cold killing intent, ignoring the storm and even attempting to charge against the wind, the Green Knights, were instantly struck by devastating blows! The divine hurricane seemed to transform into materialized heavy hammers and giant waves, striking them hard.

The foremost, most aggressive charging Green Knights, along with their heavy skeleton warhorses, were like being hit head-on by a siege hammer! The sturdy bronze armor issued shrill groans and twisted sounds, knights and warhorses were forcibly lifted off the "water surface" by this irresistible force! They rolled and spun like broken dolls, crashing into the formation of their companions behind or directly flying toward the roaring water walls on both sides, instantly engulfed by the filthy torrents.
