Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed
Chapter 325: The Return of Ultimate Pro Max Fly Swatter
In reality, on the second floor of Asher’s estate.
Sabrina stood completely still with her head lowered.
Her black hair covered half her face, and she didn’t move an inch.
Cynthia still hadn’t figured out what had just happened.
"Tiana? What did you just throw?"
"N-Nothing!"
Tiana spoke while slowly shrinking behind Elaria.
"I-It was just an ordinary... piece of paper! Yeah! A piece of paper!"
"A piece of paper?"
Cynthia clearly didn’t believe her.
She tentatively called out: "S-Sabrina?"
Sabrina slowly raised her head.
The corners of her lips curved into an incredibly gentle smile—
So completely different from her usual icy expression that she looked like another person entirely.
She turned toward Cynthia.
Her red eyes were filled with a sugary sweetness that simply didn’t belong to her.
"Big Sis Cynthia~ Have you seen Hubby?"
"Hubby...?"
The corner of Cynthia’s mouth twitched.
"Yeah~ I miss him~"
"He hasn’t kissed me once all day."
"I’m so sad~"
As she spoke, Sabrina even pouted pitifully and cupped her cheeks in both hands.
Cynthia: "..."
"Tiana."
Cynthia’s eyes never left Sabrina, but her voice had already changed.
"What. Exactly. Did you do to her?"
Tiana poked her head out from behind Elaria.
"M-Mom, listen to my excuses—"
"No, wait!"
"Listen to my explanation..."
Just then—
Sabrina suddenly skipped happily down the stairs.
"Hubby~!"
"You’re back!"
"Did you miss me~?"
Downstairs, Asher had just walked into the living room carrying a plate of fried eggs.
The moment he heard that voice, his entire body froze.
He turned his head and saw Sabrina wearing an absolutely radiant smile as she threw herself straight into his arms.
Both arms wrapped around his neck.
Even her legs hooked around him.
"Hubby~ Why haven’t you kissed me today~?"
The plate of fried eggs in Asher’s hand nearly went flying.
"Wait, wait, wait!"
"Sabrina, you—"
"Call me Nana~"
Sabrina nuzzled against his chest.
"Doesn’t Hubby always call me Nana~?"
Dawn seemed to hear the commotion from the living room and hurriedly poked her head out of the dining room.
"W-What’s going on?"
Misty, Elesa, and Diantha appeared from different stairways at almost the exact same time.
Four pairs of eyes swept across the room in unison—
Then locked onto Asher and Sabrina, who was still hanging from him.
A vein twitched at Asher’s temple.
"Um..."
"Wifeys, I can explain..."
"Explain what?"
Misty folded her arms.
A dangerously sweet smile appeared on her face.
"’Nana,’ huh?"
"Sounds pretty affectionate."
Diantha leaned against the staircase and started applauding.
"If I remember correctly, Sabrina hasn’t even received her memories yet, right?"
"So Hubby and Miss Sabrina had already progressed to this stage beforehand?"
"My, my~"
"Looks like we’re the latecomers after all."
Elesa narrowed her eyes.
"Hehe."
"So apparently we’re the ones who stole someone else’s man?"
"Sabrina, get down first."
Asher held the spatula in one hand while his other arm was completely trapped by Sabrina.
"We can talk about this calmly..."
"Nooo~!"
"I want to stay stuck to you like this!"
"Hubby hasn’t hugged me at all today!"
"Does that mean you don’t love me anymore?"
Sabrina raised her head.
Her red eyes shimmered with tears, her lips slightly pursed, looking as though the entire world had abandoned her.
Misty was the first one who couldn’t take it anymore.
She immediately reached out and tried to peel Sabrina off Asher.
"Sabrina, what are you even doing?!"
"Get down already!"
"Nooo~!"
"I want to hug Hubby like this~~~"
Dawn raised one hand.
"Um..."
"I think something really is wrong with Miss Sabrina."
"Could it have something to do with the reward Elaria just received?"
"Elaria?"
Diantha frowned.
She knew her own daughter.
There was absolutely no way Elaria would deliberately do something like this.
At that moment, Elaria walked over on her own and lowered her head.
"Um..."
"Dad, Moms... I’m sorry."
"This has nothing to do with Elaria."
Cynthia walked over with one hand carrying Tiana and the other pressed against her forehead.
"I saw what happened."
"Tiana threw something at Sabrina, and that’s what turned her into this."
"Tiana."
Asher finally managed to peel Sabrina off himself.
He planted one hand against her forehead, holding her at arm’s length while she continued trying to cling to him.
"Any last words?"
"DAD!"
"I WAS WRONG!"
"I REALLY WAS WRONG!"
"I swear this is the last time!"
"You said the same thing last time."
Asher once again pulled out the Ultimate Pro Max Fly Swatter
.
"Elaria."
"Go get the povidone-iodine from the house."
"...Okay."
Elaria glanced at Tiana one more time before running off to get the antiseptic.
Tiana instantly teleported behind Cynthia.
"MOM, SAVE ME!"
Cynthia folded her arms and looked at her.
"If I’m not mistaken, you were originally planning to throw that card at me, weren’t you?"
"W-Well..."
Tiana backed away two steps.
Then immediately hid behind Elesa.
"Mom Elesa!"
Elesa slowly stepped aside.
"I’m afraid you’re on your own with this one."
Tiana made one final attempt and hid behind Dawn.
"Mom Dawn!"
"You’re the nicest one!"
Dawn turned around to look at her.
"Tiana..."
"Um..."
"I think you really did go a little too far this time..."
"Elaria!"
Tiana spotted Elaria running back and charged toward her as though she’d found her final lifeline.
"Elaria!"
"Big Sis is always so nice to you!"
"Say something for me!"
Elaria handed the povidone-iodine to Asher.
Then she quietly took two steps backward.
"Big Sis Tiana... I told you from the beginning that you’d regret this."
Tiana: "..."
"All right."
Asher played with the fly swatter in his hand.
"Anything else you’d like to say?"
"Um..."
"Dad..."
"Considering I’m going back to the future in just a few days..."
"Could you maybe hit me a little more gently?"
"Oh."
"If you hadn’t mentioned it, I would’ve forgotten."
The corner of Asher’s mouth slowly curved upward.
"Then I’ll make sure to take very good care of you over the next few days."
"That way, you’ll go home with some truly unforgettable memories."
After receiving her punishment from the Ultimate Pro Max Fly Swatter, Tiana lay sprawled across the sofa, whimpering like a Magikarp whose bones had been pulled out.
"Dad..."
"You’ve changed..."
"You used to spoil me the most..."
Asher calmly put the fly swatter away.
"You haven’t even been born yet."
"What do you mean, ’used to’?"
At the other end of the living room, Sabrina was sitting quietly.
The sugary expression had completely disappeared from her face.
She had returned to her usual cold, expressionless self.
But the tips of her ears were bright red.
"Miss Sabrina."
Elesa walked over with a glass of ice water.
"Have some water."
"You were shouting pretty loudly just now."
"Your throat must be dry."
Sabrina didn’t take it.
Instead, she decided that completely stonewalling the situation was the best way to survive the wave of teasing.
"I’m going home."
"Oh, don’t get worked up~"
Diantha smiled.
"Things have already reached this point, so why not just move in?"
"What do you think, Hubby?"
As she finished speaking, Diantha shot Asher a meaningful look.
Asher coughed twice.
Then he casually picked up an orange and started peeling it.
"Ahem."
"Whether Sabrina stays here or not is obviously her decision."
"But Tiana causing trouble is partly my responsibility too."
"So how about this?"
"I’ll treat you to dinner tonight as an apology."
"Sound good?"
Once he’d finished speaking, he held out the freshly peeled orange.
Sabrina lowered her eyes toward the perfectly peeled fruit.
Then she looked back up at Asher.
After a moment she finally reached out and accepted it.
...
TL: I totally forgot what did I changed it to in previous Chapters so its "Ultimate Pro Max Fly Swatter" now. For your reading experience its better not to think of the original—author is a bit of old school.
